Arion nodded and stood up, letting Connor do as he pleased. Try as he might, it was obvious that he couldn't control these hormone fueled teenagers. The best he could do was try to guide them and keep them from killing each other or themselves. It was better said than done though. The elf looked at Cassandra and motioned towards the entrance of the cave. "Shall we?" Without waiting for a reply he headed outside, only to find that the three had gotten themselves into another mess. What was wrong with these kids? Arion could never remember being so rowdy or angry during his childhood, and given that he wasn't a very old elf he should remember his childhood in vivid detail.
Connor was leaving the area, which was the least of his worries at the moment. Meredith was currently being held hostage by somebody who was surely one of the king's assassins. She beautiful and graceful, but also deadly. Her ultimate motives were hard to tell, but for now she seemed to be content with knowing what she was killing for. "Why does the king want you alive?" he replied to the girl, grinning a bit. He motioned for Meredith to stay where she was and not try anything. It would be no help to have one of the Four dead. It defeated the purpose of being the Four, fulfilling the prophecy, and destroying the King. "We could ask a number of questions now couldn't we, Miss? What interest are these children to you? I see that they're rather foolish, but really- must we solve the problem of today's youth by killing them off on command of a self declared king?" He chuckled a bit and looked beyond her at Connor's silhouette, then at Naveah. His eyes settled back on the female. "In all seriousness though, I must ask why you don't know such a thing."
