Introduction
You wake up one day in a strange desert with a bunch of other strange people. You all find a note:
Welcome to the Game of Challenge! You have been selected because of your unique ablility to participate in this experiment!
Throughout the game, you will be given challenges. If you pass the challenge, you move onto the next part of the game. If you fail to do so, then you die and a new member will take your place.
It's your choices that will influence the next leg of the race, so choose wisely. Oh, and I should mention that you are competing with another team that you will be interacting with during the game.

There are two teams: The Green Team and The Orange Team. Orange team members are marked with orange tigers while green team is marked with a green wolf. Every team has a leader who is responsible for making decisions. Every member of the team has a special power.
Everyone also has a guardian. This guardian is an animal that will protect them no matter what.

OOC Notes
Aisuru and Getsu awoke side by side. They woke up almost simultaneously. They were relieved to see the other was alive, but confused. Where were they? Aisuru and Getsu read the note and looked at each other, confused. What was going on?
"Getsu." Aisuru said "There's something on your back. It's an orange tiger and the word ORANGE. Is there something on mine?" Aisuru turned around for Getsu to look.
"There's a drawing of a green wolf on your back and the word GREEN." Getsu answered.
"Then... are we on different teams?" Aisuru said, confused. Getsu didn't know whether he wanted to find out the answer.
"Getsu." Aisuru said "There's something on your back. It's an orange tiger and the word ORANGE. Is there something on mine?" Aisuru turned around for Getsu to look.

Alex woke up and looked around. There were two people already looking confused and scared. She realized that she was in a desert. She walked over to the note and read it.
"What?" she asked out loud. She through the note down. "That's great! Just great!" she yelled and sat down on the ground angerly. "I can't believe this!"
She then sighed. She began to bury her hand underneath the desert sand. Secretly, she was afraid.

Dessy awoke rather abruptly at the sound of the shouting, instinctively pulling one of his daggers from a boot.
"Whot in tha 'ell?!?" He shouted, brandishing his dagger at the invisible enemy. Realising nobody was attacking him, and that he looked rather foolish with his flashy dagger glinting brightly in the pounding sun, Dessy slid it back into his boot. As he did so, a note fluttered from off his chest. Puzzled, he quickly read it, then crumpled it up and placed it in his pocket. So, it seemed he was kidnapped for his abilities for some form of challenge series. Very well, he would get through this strange turn of events and continue with his rather awkward life.
Looking around finally, he noticed there were three others. Two of which seemed to know each other, and the other... Well, she seemed to be trying to bury her head in the sand. Their auras all seemed a bit fuzzy, but geared toward a more honest side, which indicated none of them were responsible for kidnapping him. Obviously, they were individuals from the teams mentioned in the note. Dessy assumed more would be around, but for now, he would sit back and wait.

Aisuru noticed the two newcomers. She tugged at Getsu's ear, prompting him to turn around and look as well.
"Uh, hi..." she said "I'm Aisuru, and this is my cousin, Getsu. Who are you?"

Alex, who was sitting now stood up. She dusted off her black skirt and faced the two cousins. "My name's Alexandra, but you can call me Alex," she picked up the note. "According to this, we all have some sort of special power. As for me, I can levitate myself," she said. She then played with her long curly red hair.

"I can speak to other people in my mind." Getsu said "But that's all I know how to do. I can't help but feel there's something else though."

Glancing between the three individuals, Dessy decided that maybe it was a good idea to introduce himself as well. It seemed that those present knew just as much as he did about their current situation. Well, no time like the present to greet these strangers.
"Name's Desmond, but Dessy'll do," he said, his steel blue eyes focused on the one lasses' fiery hair. "As fer me, my powers are rather simple. I can tell the true nature of someone just by lookin' at them, and also their emotions. Right now, I know you're all as apprehensive as I am about this situation. Judgin' by the lack of vegetation here, I'd say we en't in the Sonoran Desert. But, we're still in a bleedin' fuckin' desert. I wonder if our first challenge is to survive..."

Nimri had woken up too the sound of people talking, she wanted to tell them to shut up andthat she wanted to sleep, until she noticed that she wasn't in her bed, but on a heap of sand. She could hardly believe that, but still she slowly opened her eyes and sat up. She wanted to rub her eyes, get the sleep from them, but figured it might not be the best idea considering that he rhand was probably covered with sand. She watched the blurry forms of the people who where talking, they slowly became clear.

Icarus groans softly as he sits up, his eyes squinting against the daylight. He glances towards the nearby group of people, listening intently. "Aisuru, Getsu, Alexandra, Desmond, Nimri..." He mutters softly under his breath, memorizing the names. Looking around at the desert landscape, he notices a note laying near him. Upon reading it, he sighs and slowly stands. "well, this is going to be... unpleasant..." Instead of drawing attention to himself, he just decides to hang back and see what happens. He never was very good at approaching strangers. He looks down at his attire and sighs at the bright orange color. Noting the others' clothing, he figured they were split into groups. "Orange; me, getsu, alex. Green, Desmond, Asiuru, and nimri." He mutters softly, again to himself, trying to figure out why someone would take six random strangers and drop them in the middle of nowhere.

"Welcome the the Game of Challenge!" came a woman's voice from what seemed to be nowhere. "I am Madame Challenge! You have been selected to participate in a study because of your special talents! Each day or so, you will be given a challenge. Sometimes it will be a group challenge that will rely on all of you to work together. It may be a team challenge where the two teams, orange and green, will battle against each other. Orange team, you have been marked as has the green team. Orange, your leader is Getsu Aragi. Green, yours is Desmond Conway. Your leaders will be in charge of selecting which member to put on in individual challenges where one member from each team will compete against each other. At the end of each challenge, there will be a reward. The winning team chooses which team gets the reward. Be warned, though, not all rewards are good.
"Now, before your first challenge begins, each leader must choose one member from their team to replace them if they are killed or pulled from a challenge. Then, you each have a guardian animal. Your first challenge is to learn to summon this guardian animal. The first team who has all members with their guardians wins. Good luck!"
Alex stared in shock for a moment. "That's so stupid!" she said. Then she sighed. "I'm on orange team, where's Getsu?" she looked aroud, but couldn't remember who was who.

"Aisuru... be careful. You're the only family I have, and I want it to stay that way." Getsu sighed to himself and walked over to Desmond with Aisuru.
"Desmond, right?" Getsu said to him, placing a hand on Desmond's shoulder "This is my cousin, Aisuru. Keep her safe. She's the only family I've got. Don't let her die. And I don't want to see anyone here die if possible, but something tells me that won't be. If I see you in some serious trouble, I'll try to help you out. Good luck, Desmond. Guess we'll be rivals from here on out."
Getsu walked over to Alex, and looked at the two newcomers.
"Oi!" He shouted "Either of you two orange? We need to group up and think about how we'll approach this!"

I'm more of a support guy." he glances up at the two for a moment before looking back down. "Sooo, does anyone know what we're specifically supposed to be doing? I've never summoned anything before. My abilities range more towards sensing and.... healing injuries."

Alex shrugged. "Well, I guess that makes me the back up leader," she said, "And as for summoning, I have no idea. But I guess we'll just have to try," she squeezed her eyes tight and tensed up. After a second, she relaxed and opened her eyes again. "Nope, didn't work," she sat back down in the sand. "Well, she said it was a guardian animal, so think, what type of animal do we think could guard us?"

"Aye, don't worry mate, I'll be dead before anybody else dies under my charge," Dessy replied to Getsu, whom slightly took him off guard. "May the best man win, though we don't have to hate each other."
Looking over the two girls on his team, Dessy could tell both were a little wary, which was quite natural. How would they learn to summon a guardian animal they didn't even know they had? Wracking his brain, he came to a rather unorthodox solution. "Oi, Aisuru and Nimri lasses! I think I know a way to achieve this challenge. The power of suggestion on the mind is a very strong thing. I could use my abilities to scan your subconscious and find out what your guardian animal is, then all you would need to do is focus on that image long enough for them to manifest themselves."

Alex thought. "Well, I have a firey temper, though I'd hate to admit it. So I guess a phoenix. After all it is my last name," she laughed. It was a pretty stupid reason for choosing a guardian, but it was the best she had. She began to daydream about the bird of fire. What she didn't realize was that a small orange glow appeared above her and began to swirl.

"Tell me more about the pheonix, Alex." he said "I want to hear about such an interesting creature, what it looks like, sounds like, acts like."

"My empathy is strongest at touch, so I will take your hand for a moment if you don't mind, Miss Aisuru," Dessy said, doing so without waiting for a response. He noticed Getsu had picked up on where he was going with his idea, but didn't mind. Dessy didn't want to play a game he was forced into, and figured it was better to have both teams win.
The images flooded into his mind from Aisuru's mind. There were many things there, all the feelings and emotional memories were crowding for attention, but Dessy began focusing on the aspects only pertaining to the subconscious idea of a mental guardian. "I see a large white beast, with piercing blue eyes, Miss Aisuru, can you focus on that?" Desmond asked, beginning to perspire under the pressure.

"Alright. White beast... blue eyes..." In Aisuru's mind, she saw a large white wolf with piercing blue eyes bounding through a snow-covered field. A swirling white orb began to form next to her, growing gradually bigger.

Alex looked at him strangely, but she told him anyways, "Well, it's a pretty big bird. It has bright red feathers and when it flies, it creates fire!" she smiled as the image of a red bird came to her and she saw it flying. The glow above her grew larger and began to take shape. "Like me," she continued, "it has a short temper, but it's also very friendly. It can't die. If it does, it will simply be reborn from the ashes made when it bursts into flames! As for it's sound, well it sounds like-"
Then, all of a sudden, a shriek came from a great crimson bird that soared majestically out of the glow. Alex jumped. She stared up at the bird in fear and awe. It then bowed to her.

Icarus watched the fiery bird soar from the orange orb above Alex as it swirled and grew brighter. He glanced over to the green team to see the white orb next to aisuru. "So they appear just by imagining them?" He says mostly to himself. "So, an animal that represents me, as my subconscious would see me? Well, at least we're already acquainted..." He sits on the hot sand and crosses his legs, putting his hands on his lap and taking slow, deep breaths, and closing his eyes.

"That's it, Miss Aisuru! Keep focusing on your white wolf!" Dessy shouted, in his excitement not even noticing that the orange team already summoned the fiery headed one's guardian. His steel blue eyes grew wide, reflecting against the new white light before him.

Aisuru's white orb took shape into that of a wolf with crystal blue eyes like hers. It circled around her and sat by her side.
"I am Igara, your guardian." it said telepathically.
Aisuru noticed the phoenix and was disheartened. Had they lost already? Or did all of them need their guardians?

Hey guys, sorry for my extended absence. My weekend of celebration for officially being done with school altogether got a little extension. I just posted from Arii's point of view, and would've also posted as Dessy, but there en't much for me to go on at the moment.
