Introduction
It's winter vacation, which is a fun time for many, for various reasons. College kids are rejoicing because the fall semester and their dreaded finals are over, young children are anxiously awaiting Santa's visit, people are preparing to see family, and there's cheer in the air. It's time to reunite with old friends and family and pick up where you left off, share gifts and good food.
Our story focuses in on the holiday festivities of a group of people in New York. Following the death of his wife, Robert Hudson has remarried, and this will be the first holiday that his four children spend with his new wife. It won't just be them, though. A mix of friends and family will also be joining them this year, to make it a holiday to remember.
Hey, ladies and gents! Thanks for checking out my roleplay. I've been feeling a little Christmas-y already, and in need of a roleplay to keep me busy, so here I am. The roleplay's idea completely comes from user Starstruck, who ran a roleplay like this before, and gave me permission to kickstart my own version of it. Thanks, Star!
I don't have a million secret passwords for you, so all that I want when you make your reservation, is the FC you would like to use, your character's age and role. Plain and simple! This story is going to be character-driven so I'm open to all types of characters, and most definitely want characters from outside of the family to make things interesting! I'd prefer all 18+ but a few 17 year olds would be okay. Here are a few ideas, but feel free to suggest your own:
- Neighbor
- Old family friend
- Cousins/aunts/uncles
- New wife's family members
- College friend of one of the Hudson kids
- Boyfriends/girlfriends (LGBT characters are more than welcome!!!)
It's a character driven plot, so don't make a character if you aren't going to post regularly, for an extended period of time. It's plain and simple, no explanation needed here. I'm gonna be that GM who's annoying if you go MIA and don't let anyone know, so just beware. You have a week to complete your character once your reservation is made. Again, shouldn't be too difficult. Do your best to write well, and make sure your posts remain over the 300 word mark, and we'll all be happy :).

As I said, I welcome and encourage as many interesting character ideas as you all have! I'm assuming Mr. Robert Hudson and his new wife, Rachel, will be NPC's, but if someone wants to take them, feel free. Other than that, the four characters that have set roles are the four Hudson children. I'd like two of them to be boys, and two of them to be girls. I'm so excited to see interesting characters and interesting ideas, so brainstorm, collab and create :). The code below just has the basic things that I want addressed in the character sheet. Go ahead and make it pretty, and add anything else that you want :). Since I likely haven't written with you (been gone from this site for ages), put effort into the sheet so I can see how great of a writer you are!

Collectibles
By creating Collectibles, you can reward your players with unique items that accentuate their character sheets.
Once an Item has been created, it can be spawned in the IC using /spawn Item Name (case-sensitive, as usual) — this can be followed with /take Item Name to retrieve the item into the current character's inventory.
Mobs
Give your Universe life by adding a Mob, which are auto-replenishing NPCs your players can interact with. Useful for some quick hack-and-slash fun!
Mobs can be automated spawns, like rats and bats, or full-on NPCs complete with conversation menus. Use them to enhance your player experience!

@SpencerDee: The new wife is going to be fairly young (mid-late 20's) and Asian, so being her child probably wouldn't work. Childhood friend/neighbor would be cool! As I said to ᶅ ᵒᴥᵒᶅℳ₳ℜᵜℳ₳ℜᶘ ᵒᴥᵒᶅ, I also wouldn't mind someone making a sibling of the new wife who is either visiting/temporarily living with the family for some reason!

If it's the latter choice, I might even be up for making them be someone's girlfriend, but I do envision my character as being gay so...
Anyway, I plan on using Halsey as the fc and she'd be 18-20 ish, depending on the choice.

I'd like to reserve the older sibling with the face claim Liam Hemsworth or Colton Haynes, please. I am even willing to play a non family role, as well but going to wait before making a decision on that. ^^
