Introduction
Panem
Panem is a nation established during an unknown time period in a post-apocalyptic world. It is situated primarily on the western side of North America, and the Capitol is located in an area formerly known as the Rocky Mountains.
Panem was run by a single-party dictatorship that was led by President Snow before the second rebellion. It is portrayed in the trilogy to be the dominant society in North America, and no other nations or civilized societies beyond Panem have been mentioned, so it is unknown if any exist at all.
The Capitol
The Capitol of Panem is a technologically advanced, utopian city where the nation's most wealthy and powerful reside. The Capitol is also the colloquial name for the ruling government of Panem. As the seat of power in Panem, the nation's twelve (previously thirteen) districts are ruled from this city, and the Hunger Games are organized and celebrated in it.
Style and fashion are very important The Capitol
to the wealthy citizens of the plutocratic Capitol. It is common for them to tattoo and dye their bodies, as well as undergo plastic surgery to alter their appearances.
District 1
District 1 is one of the wealthiest districts of Panem. Its primary industry is manufacturing luxury items for the Capitol and as a result has a generally favourable relationship with it. These luxuries include diamonds and other precious gems, and it seems that parents from District 1 name their children after precious items and their attributes, which may be a reflection on their "glamorous" nature.
District 2
District 2 is one of the wealthiest districts of Panem. It's where most Peacekeepers are trained and weapons are manufactured, but it originally specialized only in mining and stone cutting. Publicly it's presented as the nation's stone quarries, just as District 13 was known for graphite mining. After the first rebellion, District 2 was rewarded with better treatment and living conditions for their citizens because of its loyalty to the Capitol.
District 3
District 3 is one of the 13 districts in Panem. Its main industry is technology. They specialize in televisions and computers. Before the rebellion, it was one of the richest districts in Panem.
District 4
District 4 is one of the wealthiest districts of Panem. Its industry is fishing, which is useful for tributes in the Games as they have experience in using nets and tridents, making fishhooks from scratch, swimming, and identifying edible sea life.
District 5
District 5 is one of the thirteen districts of the country Panem. It's main industry is power and electricity. Therefore, this district is responsibly for generating the power of the entire nation.
District 6
District 6 is one of the 12 districts of Panem. This district's principal industry is transportation. It was heavily bombed by the Capitol's Air Forces during the Second Rebellion
District 7
District 7 is one of the districts of Panem. It's hinted that it is a poorer district like District 10, 11, and 12. District 7 provides lumber for the Capitol, and its people are known to be good with axes. District 7 is apparently covered with large portions of forest and has a dam nearby the district.
District 8
District 8 is one of the poorest districts of Panem. Its main industry is making textiles and clothing. They have at least one factory that is primarily used for making Peacekeeper uniforms.
District 9
District 9 is one of the 12 districts of Panem. It is responsible for grain. It is mentioned that District 9 has many factories, most likely for grain processing.
District 10
District 10 is one of the poorer districts of Panem. Its main industry is livestock, and provides beef for the Capitol. Since they are in charge of livestock, it can be assumed that District 10 is majority farm land.
District 11
District 11 is one of the poorer districts, right after District 12 in the nation of Panem. Their industry is agriculture; orchards, fields of wheat, and cotton surround the district. Almost everything they grow goes to the Capitol, despite their starvation; if any citizen of District 11 is caught eating any of the crops, they are to be whipped in public. Its inhabitants are described as having dark brown skin.
District 12
District 12 is the poorest district in the nation of Panem. Located in the Appalachia and with a population of around 8,000 people, District 12's main industry was coal mining. District 12 consisted of four different areas: The Seam, the merchant section, the Victors' Village, and The Hob. The Seam was located on the border of District 12, next to the wild forests. It was extremely hard to find food in there, and many families lived in poverty.
District 13
District 13 is the last of the districts of Panem that was thought to be destroyed by the Capitol during the first rebellion. It's said to be uninhabitable, the ruins still smoldering from the toxic bombs dropped on it. However, the district is actually fully operational but hidden underground, and in an agreement with the Capitol to remain independent and in exchange, not to start a nuclear war with Panem.

Nevermore90 wrote:Great. ANOTHER cannon RP with zero originality, based off crappy books. Do you know how many zillions of Hunger-Games RPs there are, floating around RPG? At least a Fanfic (with made up characters) would be fun; we already know the plot for Suzanne Collin's "Literature series." (All of the quotes, like the one by Steven King, on the back of the book, by the way, were all paid for; no one actually endorses THG)
Think of something original and submit THAT to RPG; didn't you read the rules and suggestions before submitting this? They quite clearly ask for original content!
Some tips:
Don't create a high school roleplay. There's already a bunch, join one of those instead.
Do create something original. Don't steal someone else's universe, be original and come up with one of your own.
Do take your time. Once you submit your roleplay, it is public for the whole world to see. Take your time and make it look good.
It's highlighted in red. How the hell did you miss it?
(And furthermore, why does anyone like THG in the first place?)
Why would you rewrite a book? That's all this RP can ever hope to be.
I agree with you on a few topics like the fact that there is quite a few Hunger Games RPs on the site and that it's not really original, but that doesn't mean you should goatskins hating on the Hunger Games. I understand why you may not like it, me myself only likes the first book, but that doesn't mean you have to go hating on what people like. There was a lot nicer way to tell the GM of this RP that there's already a hella lot of HG RPs and that they should make something original. I'm terribly sorry if I sound rude, but stuff like that can really hurt people's feelings.
