Introduction
Imagine if one day, your whole life was torn apart at the seams.
Imagine losing everything. Imagine watching your family die in front of your eyes. Imagine being ripped from their bodies, and taken to some unknown place by some unknown people. Imagine being experimented on, and gaining powers from them. Imagine being trained against your will to become a killing machine.
This isn't your imagination anymore. This is your reality.
In 1966, SPRAD, Super Power Research And Development, was created by Dr Ryan Buscemi, with the intent of evolving the human race to withstand the damage already done to it. The facility was kept a secret for many years, although the world's major governments funded it and made sure it was classified from public attention. However, there were many setbacks, and they began to wonder if it was actually possible. Then they made a discovery. It wasn't finding a way to unlock powers. It was infusing DNA with elements, unlocking undiscovered genes, and activating new parts of the brain in specific ways. But to fully test it, they would need live humans.
Most of the world was fiercely opposed to the idea of testing things like this on anyone, France, Britain, and Japan in particular. However, America and China were all for it. The countries began to argue, and from there, fight. It soon escalated, and war was declared on each other, although everything was still to be kept secret. Bombings were disguised as terrorist attacks. Disappearances were disguised as murders, or kidnappings. And the world started it's descent into chaos.
The first people to disappear were different. They just disappeared out of the blue, never to be seen again. They were snatched off of the streets, and taken to SPRAD, hidden in a hospital in the middle of Manhattan. There, they were injected with a strange substance that caused immense pain for several days, before they woke up, wondering what had changed within them. These people became... strange, crazed. Their minds were destroyed, hung up over what they had left behind. The sorrow of knowing what they could have had, and who was waiting for them, had driven them crazy. Many of them had to be put down. This changed some theories that Dr. Buscemi had. He realized that the people that could evolve were the ones that could let go of what tethered them to their past. It was their past, the tethers they had to their old self that destroyed them. So he began to look for victims of the wars around the world.
The first people were victims, but they were random. They had no choice in the matter. There were problems with this, too. Many of the older victims died shortly after being injected, from loss, or their own brains shutting down. However, the younger victims survived. After days of pain and torture, one by one, they awoke, new powers at their fingertips. Sometimes it took seconds to discover, sometimes weeks. But these new evolved humans weren't quite right. They were much too brutal, and much too resisting. Buscemi needed something else. So he went back out, to the victims of the newest bombing in Moscow, Russia.
Most of the people in the building had died, but Buscemi discovered two people inside. The Sokolov twins had lost everything in the bombs, and with their home abandoned, back in England, they knew that Buscemi's offer was life or death. One of them took it up immediately, but one resisted. Buscemi decided to take them both, save them all, even though one had resisted. At the same time, victims that had lost their family in the war were taken from England, parts of America, France, Japan, and India. Everyone but the male Sokolov twin agreed.
After a trip back to the SPRAD facility, and a painful few days, Buscemi finally had his success. The people they had rescued woke up, completely normal, apart from the fact that they had superpowers. They went along with what they were told, and they were to begin. But the strangest thing about them was not their powers, it was the iridescence of their skin that told Buscemi that he had succeeded. They were soon to become known as 'The Iridescent'. Buscemi separated each person, placing them all into individual glass cells, only to be let out for meals, toilet breaks, and training sessions. Occasionally there were group sessions, fighting against holograms, but sometimes they were paired up, and made to fight together, or against each other. It drove some people against Buscemi's methods of training, but brought them together. "It's for the good of the Earth." He would say.
However, some of the other victims are beginning to realize that nobody can stop them. And they are planning an Uprising, an escape into the real world, a chance to find themselves again. Everyone's beginning to reach the breaking point, and there have already been fights between certain members of the groups. Everyone knows it's up to the Iridescent to stop everyone from making a mess of the world once again. Tensions are building. Fights are inevitable. But can they remain themselves, even in the face of death?

When Julian was originally taken, he turned in on himself and refused to believe that his family was truly gone. He stopped eating and he wouldn't interact with people, only doing the bare minimum to keep from punishment. Julian had lost his sight in a bombing during the war causing him to lose a lot of abilities he had previously had. With the electricity, he was given the ability to see as he was able to use electrolocation. He is also able to conduct and control electricity so long as his hands are no covered. If he is wearing material that is an insulator, now built in his clothes so he doesn't accidentally shock anyone, he can't control his electricity on the offense nearly as much. Insulators cause him problems and sometimes rebounds, which, on occasion, can be very painful if he is not paying attention and properly moves the electricity through his body. Has a crush on {FC: Heather Sossaman} but doesn't want her to be affected by his decisions. Gets along well with {FC: Jamie Campbell Bower}.

Austin believes there is no reason to be mean or cruel in the world and can't fathom why people are so. He came out with super speed causing him to run so fast, he can beat the speed of sound for a couple hundred miles before having to stop and rest, a while. He gets dehydrated very easily and can be very sick should he not rest enough as his immune system practically abandons him. Austin occasionally has anxiety attacks causing him to be useless and snappy, though this is only in private when he is very, very stressed. Best friends with {FC: Joshua Anthony Brand} but doesn't agree with his decisions.

My favorite superhero is Doctor Strange because I love supernatural stuff and magic, so I just think it is so awesome that Marvel made a Sorcerer Supreme a frickin’ comic book superhero.

I would want to have the power to analyze math insanely well and superhumanly quickly because I feel like it could help with a lot of other academic areas as well as giving me a better understanding of the world around me. Also, if I had that superpower, I wouldn’t be failing my math class anymore…

Hello! I'd like to reserve the Frieda Pinto FC but change it to Sonam Kapoor.
As for a superpower, probably invisibility or teleportation. Sometimes Invisibility would be fun because then I could be annoying and prank people all the time. Teleportation because my family is on the other side of the country.

My favorite Superhero, well Superheroes would have to be the Avengers because of the personality dynamics within the group. :)
If I a superpower, it'd be to be a Technopath so that I can create different devices and fix my own hardware. :3

My favorite super hero/villain right now, is Quicksilver because he is cute and he is sassy, not Iron man sassy exactly, but he is very, very close.

When Julian was originally taken, he turned in on himself and refused to believe that his family was truly gone. He stopped eating and he wouldn't interact with people, only doing the bare minimum to keep from punishment. Julian had lost his sight in a bombing during the war causing him to lose a lot of abilities he had previously had. With the electricity, he was given the ability to see as he was able to use electrolocation. He is also able to conduct and control electricity so long as his hands are no covered. If he is wearing material that is an insulator, now built in his clothes so he doesn't accidentally shock anyone, he can't control his electricity on the offense nearly as much. Insulators cause him problems and sometimes rebounds, which, on occasion, can be very painful if he is not paying attention and properly moves the electricity through his body.
Pardon the lack of gif, but it is surprisingly very hard to find gifs for this guy.

Austin believes there is no reason to be mean or cruel in the world and can't fathom why people are so. He constantly tries to be the change he wants others to make but struggles with keeping himself in such a way as he also strives to be respected and liked by people. He came out with super speed causing him to run so fast, he can beat the speed of sound for a couple hundred miles before having to stop and rest, a while. He gets dehydrated very easily and can be very sick should he not rest enough as his immune system practically abandons him. Austin occasionally has anxiety attacks causing him to be useless and snappy, though this is only in private when he is very, very stressed.
I think I would love to have superspeed after recently seeing the Avengers:Age of Ultron. Quicksilver has me wanting to be him at the moment.
About the three theme songs... I'll put them in when I start thbe process of making the characters. How long do we have to get them done?
