Introduction
The Storied history of the castle in Richess dates back to before the first crusade, when an elder vampire took the land from its mortal ruler by treaty and had the people commissioned to build a castle upon the height of the bluff there. He ruled there for nearly 100 years before he was unseated, by a group of young upstart vampires, hungry for power. Each with their own reasons they have ruled here since. The world around them has changed, but the castle has not, a bastion of living history in a modern world.
Rules
there is only one rule here everyone has fun. If they are not having fun then something is not being done right, change it.

Christopher stood atop the castle parapet, looking out over the hill. The werewolves there had been driven off, but still he had the old habit of watching for their approach,half a century of habit did not just vanish

Lady Phoenix stood in the window of the room that Christopher had given her, she looked up at the moon wishing that it was the sun and she could be out in it. She turned and walked to the door, looking to see if any of the servants were there.

There were none there, but she could hear them down the hall.

Christopher Redway just stood watching out over the distance for a couple hours before proceeding down to the courtyard. It had been a couple centuries before he had wished he could feel the sun.

straightened and turned to close the door to her room before walking down the hallway, she wanted something to eat and to find Christopher so that they could talk things over. She wanted to know what she was to do here and she had yet to see Tam. She sighed and walked to where she thought the kitchen was.

Lady Phoenix nodded to the servant and turned to make her way out to the courtyard, she didn't know if she were to wait for Christopher there or if he would send for her.

Christopher Redway was practicing in the courtyard several men with swords facing of against him as he blured and moved to defend himself against them, disarming them each before pulling to the ready stance.

Lady Phoenix stopped and watched as Christopher was practicing with other men with swords, she crossed her arms in front of her as she stood a few feet away so that she wouldn't get caught in the crossfire. She knew that she would want to spar with a few of the guards when she had some free time, but now she just wanted to know her place in the castle.

Christopher stood at he ready, holding up a hand to signal the pause as he walked over toward Lady Phoenix. "Hello,what brings you here tonight." he lifter the faceplate, looking at the woman that had arrived not long ago."

Lady Phoenix let her arms fall to her sides as Christopher stood and walked over to her. "One of the servants in the house directed me here, I did not think you were here." she said as he raised his faceplate. "I just wanted to know what I am to do while I am here."

Lady Phoenix nodded to Christopher and looked back at the men before turning to follow him to wherever he led her.

As they reached the dining room he would summon a servant to get them each a glass of water, and a glass of wine. "Is there any food that you cannot eat?"

Lady Phoenix followed Christopher quietly as he led them to the dining room and watched as he spoke to the servant, she turned to him as he addressed her and shook her head. "No, there is not." she said to him and waited for him to dismiss the servant so that they could sit and converse.

"Good then there will not be a problem. Might I ask what it is you like to do in your free time."

"I read sometimes and I love to sit in the sun." she smiled at the thought of the rays flowing over her skin and feathers when she was in her bird form. "I like to be with friends and have fun." she said as she remembered where she was and looked back at Christopher.

"Alright well those are some interesting things to do, what topics do you like reading about, or is it just anything?"

The meal was delivered a full four course meal delivered, far more than she would be able to eat, the same thing placed before each of them.

Lady Phoenix watched as the meal was placed in front of her, then smiled up at the servants before turning to Christopher. "This is too much Christopher, but I will eat what I can." she said as she waited for him to pick up his fork to start the meal off.

"Eat only as much as will make you comfortable." He of course had given her more than she would be able to eat. He picked up hes knife and fork and began to make as if he were eating to keep hercomfortable

Lady Phoenix nodded, then picked up her knife and fork and started to eat slowly, she didn't think that she would eat more than what made her comfortable. She didn't know why they were here, but she would try to start out the conversation. "What are your hobbies Christopher??"
