The year is 2028, New York City, the city itself has no legal system so to speak as the general population is more shal we say mixed than it used to be. Human population in the city is about 5%, it could be less as human trafficking for humans without special abilities is high. Mainly with small time slavery, fight clubs, blood banks and the odd sacrifice or two. New York City now is more or less a melting pot of species. Werewolves, Vampires, Fae’s, Witches, Elementals, Elves. To name a select few.

These groups have split the city into areas, with barriers, magical or physical in nature. Each group is like a small community with its own legal system ( following rules that have been set out by distinguished members ‘Leaders’ of said groups )

-Breaking any human laws (Theft, murder, drugs)
-Revealing yourself to a Human
-Having relations/having children with a Humam
-Killing one of your kind

Individuals that have broken rules set out by their groups leader are cast out from the safety of their community into the city. They have a choice to try and survive out there but most would end up dead. On the outskirts of the city far beyond law and order, is a house. A place of safety and of magic.

The house is large enough to hold a decent size of people, there is no claim to who owns the house it is only known that a mysterious and wealthy individual known as the benefactor pays for the upkept of the house. Residents of the house can stay as long as they like as long as they adhere to the mutual respect of the house, Unlike the rough streets of New York the house is a safe place.

There will be a limit of 8 characters ( so far to the house, least I expect is three or four to begin with, if more people are interested then I will extend places.

I will provide a character sheet for people to work on if they so wish. In terms of reservation you will have to post on here with a picture of your character, name and species. You will have 72 hours or longer if needed to complete your character sheet. Make it fun make it pretty and detailed.
