The crime rate in the city of Ellington is at an at time low. DUI's, shootings, homicides, and theift all were reduced from frequent incidences to rare occurrences. The Purge was made to let the rage and hatred that people keep up inside themselves during the rest of the years that they wait just for the Purge to begin. Its the release that all the drug users, pyschopaths and mentally insane wait for to wreck havok on the city and be able to get away with it. The wealthy are not safe, the poor are not safe, not even the law enforcement are as safe as they could be. No one is safe yet it is the time of the era that gives everyone the equality and release that is needed to maintane peace within the city. It had worked in the past until the mayor and many of the law enforcers were killed in the last Purge that was allowed 57 years ago. Through the time of peace between the last Purge and the recently announced one all the crime has decreased in the hopes that the next will be bigger and longer.



The Purge: The purging of the violence and crime of the city of Ellington. It allows people to let loose and release all the hatrad that they hold up inside themselves.

Goal: Stay alive as the pyscho killers and homicidal maniac's try to take out all their anger and loneliness on you. The Purge has been known to have decrease the low lifes making the crime rate of the city go down, but unfortunately in the process of all the cleansing of the criminals many innocents were taken down with them as a consiquence. The government does not care however and they will not care if you die or not.
