Introduction
There once lived and thief and a witch.
Although there paths never destined to mix.
They lived such crooked lives.
So there fate was cut by knives.
And so did they meet.
On a dark night among the elite.
And there fates forever did entangle.
Left there to sit and dangle.
And despite there first fights.
There friendship soon took flight.
But would they survive?
Live long and then thrive.
Or were they destined to fail.
Without ever taking sail.
Well here our story starts.
Can you hear the pounding hearts?
The Thief's Witch sings her tale.
Let's see what morning brings.

The Story So Far... Write a Post » as written by 2 authors
Within moments and without Luven's permission Marybell was waving her arms enthusiastically making all of Luven's objects smaller and shoving them into a bag he owned. Within minutes the entire clock tower was empty save the witch, the thief, and the fox. Already Marybell felt drained and she stumbled clinging to Luven. "Alright... Now the glamour... The least suspicious thing I can think of is...An elderly couple they will expect us as people our age... hidden under robs but a pair of old biddies just weaving through the crowd no way they suspect it..." Pulling out two random trinkets from the bag Marybell used most of what remained to enchant them with glamours handing one to herself and one to him she completed her plan by doucing the pair in perfume. "We can wash it off once were in the clear but for now we have too smell like-" She paused looking at the perfume bottle. "Eau De Rouge... Perfume of red? Red is a color not a... Nevermind."
"Well if were leaving we should go to the bazaar they should be there" he stated as she watched her use her magic and use the perfume. "Not what?" he asked more curious as to what she was going to say but knowing she may not answer. He sighed as he picked Aura up letting her take refuge in his cloak. She didnt seem to like the perfume but he knew it was best to cover their scent after all. "My "friends" as I said should be in the bazaar if we can get them we can have them escort us out of the kingdom. We just have to tell them the business to tell the guards on which were leaving and they will easily convince them though I imagine the security will be tight but we should be able to still leave while your glamour is in effect" he stated and smiled. A elderly couple heh he wasnt fond of being old just yet but it was just a ruse he supposed. He was curious about her home though what magic would be there that could help them? He wanted to ask but knew even a witch needed to keep a few of her secrets. "So shall we go?" he asked giving a bow as he picked up his bag and regained his posture. "Oh and for earlier your welcome about the dress it was given to me by a woman once... " he paused because it was at that moment he realized the woman who gave it to him had the same eyes as Marybell... but it couldn't of been. "A woman that use to live outside the walls she use to come to my parents bakery.. the witch hunts took her though along with my parents" he stated with a very careful tone as he mulled over the thought. Had their paths been set before even now he wondered. "Well shall we go?" he exclaimed and smiled trying to dispel his earlier word's and the mood they might of set. ((Hope you dont mind the twist you know me I love dem twists lol))
Luven after explaining where they were headed stepped out of the clock tower into the fresh open air. The sun stung his eyes for a moment before they adjusted. "This way" he stated before walking directly toward the center of town while also trying to keep a respectable speed for someone suppose to be elderly. The market would be bustling with trade so there would be guards but not enough. That's what made the bazaar such a easy place to deal secretly. There were just far to much commerce for the king to completely keep a full eye on. Not when you considered his prosecution of witches and such. His gypsy friends were lucky though because they were protected by the thieves guild. if Luven hadn't left he would be seeking their help. He had left on good terms and they were like family but still. He didn't want to go back and ask for help now he would be in their debt and... he didn't want to be in debt to another thief. There was never honor among thieves.
As Luevn walked through the crowded streets with Marybell he stopped only once buying them both a ring which he threw to her after placing his on his ring finger. It wasn't said but it was to help with her glamour. They looked the part but rings would seal the deal for anyone seeking more proof. After their stop he lead her carefully to the bazaar. It was as h said it would be bustling with trade. Many people from all over and clearly different cultures and lands. In a more crowded spot of the bazaar was the tent Luvven had spoke of and this made him happy. he had lucked out for he hadn't known for sure they would be there. "this way dear" he spoke clearly keeping up his part of his role as he lead her to the tent. Allegedly they were going in to ask for help to get out of the kingdom but should someone of asked they were but going to get their fortune told. Witchcraft was against the law yes but well... certain parties with the right friends could act out certain things and there was never any proof fortune telling was nothing but a hoax or not and it brought no harm as of yet and gold in the kingdoms pocket as well as the thieves guild for keeping them safe. So they wouldn't be in harm for going in to have a fortune told.

The tent was full of things like herbs and such and gems and a crystal ball for show or use he never asked. But after the arrangements were made they were lead outside to the back where a carriage sat with supplies being loaded up. Their story would be they were traders leaving the town. Luven was given the /proper/ paperwork. ((heres a lazy reply))
As the duo were led to the carriage Marybell shuffled closer to Luven. The carriage was loaded and soon they were on the move leaving behind the city as they were bounced about by the wheels hitting the uneven stone roads. Every-once and awhile Marybell saw a wanted poster the image they had drawn for the pair was amusing to Marybell with herself being portrayed in the classic witches garb... And did they give her a wand? Sneering in amusement she was happy to be rid of this place it practically reeked of corruption.
The carriage ride was shorter then expected something for which Marybell was secretly pleased she wanted out as soon as possible. As the carriage slowed and stopped Marybell heard guards talking and she felt for a moment nervous and scared but she kept her cool forcing herself to soften her face so that she'd look like a kindly old woman. Instead of one liable to stab you in the back.
The thief or should I say old man simply gave a warm smile and nodded as he took Marybell's hand giving it a gentle squeeze to let her know everything would be okay and to perhaps help with making her look like someone less likely to kill you. The search took couple minutes and everything checked out except for one guard getting fox bit cause the idiot decided to wake Aurora whim was not a happy camper when anything she claimed as her "den" was disturbed. Luven couldn't help but chuckle and grin. "I apologize she's normally sweet as a kitten you must of startled her" he remarked and soon after added. "She keeps mice out of the goods" he knew there was no law against it but it was odd too have a fox or some other animal if not a hunter or trapsman so he made the excuse quickly and was happy it passed. He was still grinning over at Mary though for he'd not warned the guards on purpose he wanted some entertainment for her some passive revenge cause if you looked closely the guard that was bit was the very one that had hit her the night before in the dungeon. After Aurora was tamed and put back in the carriage and the guard was bandaged and cooled off from being bit they were soon on their way out the gates. But it wasn't before a lot of harassment they were probably stopped a dozen more times before fully out of the vicinity of the castle gates but when they were he handed the reins to Mary. "You know the way to your home" he spoke softy with a smile as a blush came across his face realizing he was still holding her hand and quickly let go. "Sorry had to put up a show ya know?" he said though his blush clearly said it was more than that. But it mattered not I suppose. When they were safe in the forest the glamour came off but only when Mary deemed it safe enough. Luven was still curious though of her home or what was left.. he felt bad he only had to leave his... she had hardly one to go back to. Had there been no worry of meeting a swift end he might of consoled her for that but she trusted him not and he wanted to stay on good terms with her for now.
As they left the walls of the city behind Marybell felt herself relax and as she relaxed she felt the drain of magic still here, she was pushing herself already from yesterday but she could do more still. As a wall of trees rose to greet them Marybell took the reigns silently leaving Luven to blush about something. Before long she'd veered them off the main path and into the forest letting the dark tall trees surround them. The only reason they even fit was by Marybells manipulation of the caravans size not that Luven would really notice, such was the marvels of magic. After a tense hour they came upon the a clearing where the remains of what looked like a small shop still smouldered weakly. Marybell was exhausted by this point and was happy for the rest she'd need food after this or she'd end up like she had yesterday.
Dismounting quickly Marybell pulled out her remaining magic and used it to fling parts of the wreckage away to reveal whatever the fire spared she found a few potions and gathered them quickly setting them aside, the glass was slightly blackened but the liquid inside was fine the thinner bottle she knew was flu-healing, the rounder darker one substitute meal, it went on. Finally Marybell getting annoyed with her little fans gave out a hiss of anger and used her magic to blunge her hand into the smouldering wreckage and resolve it into thick watery due. Under was finally what she'd been looking for, her hidden cell door. "It's here... Thank heavens, crack it open while I catch my breath... Inside wont be much just a few spare jars of jam and a little collection of tombs and scrolls... Maps and the usually... I wonder if my frogs spirits are down there..." Settling down to sit Marybell looked through her potions... There was a bottle of liquid crystal... Maybe she'd give it to Luven he seemed to enjoy gaudy things...
While Marybell thanked the heavens over the door and her potions he was looking about the forest. The nature was truly beautiful and made him wonder why he ever stayed in the city... It was true that he liked his gold and things of the nature but he did like the earth as well perhaps not as much as most but he could at least cherish the beauty around him. His thoughts however were cut short when she asked him to open the door. "Would be a pleasure" he responded kindly and walked over to the door getting it open for her. It took a couple seconds or so but not long. He was a thief after all so opening doors was something he was good at.
He couldn't help but notice her staring at one of the vials she held however. She didn't seem very fond of it but she was staring at it with thought. He wasn't sure what it was but he could imagine. It wasn't that he wanted to be greedy rich the thief just was attracted to beautiful and shiny things. A lot like a cat his curiosity would get him killed one day it already had him on the run. He would give it all up though his life of 'gaudiness' had he ever had someone to give it up for. Till now a lot like the witch he'd been alone with no one to worry for but himself. So couldn't blame her for avoiding getting to close though for her she seemed to want to be as far from anyone as possible and he could not blame her really as for why... seeing what she'd been through but for him... He realized how much he loathed being alone his blushing his care and need to still be by her side it all pointed it out to him that he wasn't prepared to be alone again. "Door's open" he muttered in case he'd forgot to tell her and stepped aside. "Ladies first" he stated with a smile before adding. "You don't have to like me but a little trust wouldn't hurt... You did save my life at the castle to turn on you now would be... unloyal" he didnt brace himself though in fact he did the opposite and allowed his body to relax to take anything she wished to throw at him for his abrupt statement but he wanted to show her he was trying to make a effort to at the very least be her friend.
The map itself was on what appeared to be a blank piece of parchment. It was charmed this way due to the fact it was home to many secret passages and places. Every good witch had to have an invisible map of sorts it was practically a must! This one was in fact a hand-me-down from Marybell's mother who got it from her mother and so forth. Best to keep such magical valuables in the family. Reaching into the caravan to grab some wine Marybell set the map down and poured the wine over it. The paper did not get wet but the red wine's color instead seeped into invisible lines of the paper and Marybell focused strongly on where she was so the map would form the area accordingly. Picking up the map Marybell smiled and handed it to the thief. "Rip it and il turn YOU into wine... Now... I guess you can pick where were going... But only this time." Marybell gave a small fleeting smile feeling odd but oddly at ease. She knew she was stuck with the thief and if she was she might as well get use to it.

He wasn't surprised by her threat but something seemed... different about it. He wanted to tease her on that note but held back the notion. "Me pick? Okay." He stared at the map and picked at random but making sure it was reasonably out of reach of their presuers. "here" he said showing it to her before handing the map back to her. "And was that a smile I saw?" He added with a grin not able to hold back the comment before feigning a attempt to hide. "DONT TURN ME INTO A FROG" he was joking of course but in his fake attempt to hide he placed something in her hair, a flower to be exact and sly like at that. Before she could even question him he was in the caravan and smiling at her. "So if thats everything shall we go?" He asked knowing if he ever had any hopes of getting past her cold mistrust he at the very least had to be persistent.
Soon Marybell was cutting into bread and dried sausage with some dry cheese and despite the rickety movement of the caravan she'd soon managed to make two sandwiches, she also cut some meat for the fox and an apple to split. Taking the spoils Marybell hoped back to sit by the thief, she fed his fox first coaxing it out of its hiding place and allowing it to eats the juicy morsels of preserved meat. She would not lie but watching the fox greedily eat brought a small smile to her normally expressionless face. It was around this time Marybell realized she was still holding the thief's sandwich and without taking the time to look up she shoved it directly into the thief mouth. "Eat." Feeding one last piece of meat to the fox she finally began to work on her own sandwich all while enjoying the silent albeit probably temporary atmosphere of calm surrounding the odd-ball group of travelers.
Luven let the sandwich however hang from his lips for a couple minutes or so as he followed the witch's directions and oddly enough you would of thought him to be part fox cause he would growl just like one if Aurora dared steal his andwich and she did dare even snatched a little of Marybell's. Luven could never tell personally but there was something about Aurora she was different than the normal fox there was something even if small magical about her intelligence sometimes you would think her to be human in fox form. Luven had found her in a trap and when he saved her she never left his side she was his only friend till now.
As the caravan soon turned to colder weather Luven let go of the reins trusting the horses to know where to go and took his sandwich taking a bite and smiled at Mary and Aurora. "You know..." he started tilting his head pondering on his next words tapping the bitten sandwich on his lips as he pondered. "Your not so bad" he took another bite of his sandwich and placed his hand in his cloak and ruffled it about a bit before pulling out a small charm. It was given to him long ago it was said to be given as a sign of long lasting friendship. One that would outlast even death. "I want you to have this.. call it a gift in return for what you gave me earlier" he finished his sandwich and handed what left to Aurora and patted her head gently. He didn't care if they were friends but incase they didn't make it out of this mess alive he wanted her to know at least one person was sticking around till the bitter end.
As the air grew colder his cheeks grew redder so he place his hood upon his head and he grew silent again. Silence wasnt always best but it was a nice silence a calm peaceful silence.
For a moment Luven stayed silent before letting out a laughter a joyous laughter and it seemed like something he'd not done in so very long. "We must be the real monsters in your eyes huh?" he asked softly as his laughter faded and his eyes gazed into the gray clouds above them. "All you wanted was a life of peace to yourself where you could use your magic freely but we non magic users forced you into hiding even used you for our own selfish desires... I guess when i think of it like that i can't blame you for letting me near only to shut the doors out of fear" he said in a thoughtful but sympathetic tone. They had made progress in their friendship/companionship thus far but he still felt so distant from her. Like the first time he met Aurora. He still felt like Marybell didn't trust him only that she tolerated him. He moved his hands behind his head not bothering to move from her side or the pile of apples. What was the point the road ahead was straight and the horses were going as a decent speed rain or not. "sorry about what I said I just feel bad people treated you so badly. Had they not such as the man that betrayed you before... had they not you wouldn't be so jaded and broken and that would be a beautiful thing to see you happy like a moment ago when you shoved the sandwich in my mouth" a smile curled upon his lips before it faded. "But had those things not happen I'd still be alone... that's selfish of me huh?" he asked before sitting up and stretched. "I am a thief though" he grinned trying to play off his deep thoughtful moment where his fox like eyes almost seemed to peer into her soul without looking at her. "As I asked before you okay?" He asked holding a hand to his side of her to offer her a hand to get up well sit up.
