Introduction

Ghost's of Thy Past
Please do not weep
For I have found solace
Under thy cloves of sleep
So let me rest
This final hour
I hope you will not wonder
When thy should sunder
I will be with you
For all time
But do not forget this final rhyme
You are needed
And when you wake
Destiny will forever take
A hand in your will
Life is precious
So please protect
What this old and tired King holds dearest.
~King Lucas

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Thousands of years ago, in a Kingdom ruled by magic and the spirit of its once great lands, there was a great war that took thousands of lives, and left hundreds broken. The magic that was once the heart of Aion had been destroyed that horrible day and left the land once ruled by love from it’s King and Queen baron and lifeless.

One cold winter’s morn, months after the battle that had left Aion’s Kingdom in mourning, the magic of Aion started to re-appear, brighter and more powerful then ever. Aion’s Queen, Aristae, was the only mortal within the Kingdom that could feel it sparking back to life, trying desperately to reach out and bring the Kingdom one last glimmer of hope. Aion’s King, Lucas, whom had fallen ill from his Kingdoms devastating blow, could also feel it – that warm and wonderful feeling of hope long lost.

The God’s that had created the world of Evalasia had given Aion a special gift that day. It was odd how the lands they had created chose to fight on and protect the mortals that tread upon their spirit, but they also knew that Aion was loved by those same mortals, as it should be. In return for protecting the magical land they had created, the God’s of Evalasia came to Aion – in all their godly beauty – and offered Aion’s King and Queen a second chance. Queen Aristae bowed in her King’s stead, as he could not leave his bed, and told the God’s of Lucina, the Kingdom in the sky, that Aion would give them anything to give back the life the Kingdom of Taoz had taken away from their once glorious Kingdom.

The God of new life stepped forward and smiled bashfully, beckoning Aion’s Queen to get up off her knees. They had come to make a deal and truly did not feel as though they should be bowed to, for once they left, a life would leave with them. The God’s offered to take Aion back in time, to a year and a half before the war that destroyed Aion’s magic and send the King and Queen five powerful warriors to help them in their battle against the Kingdom of Toaz. However, once the battle was won, King Lucas would die and become a God of Evalasia – the new God of Aion.

Queen Aristae knew it was taboo for God’s to get involved in Evalasia’s democratic disputes; they were not permitted to dabble in human affairs. However, this was no simple war over land, Aion was a blessed place, loved by the God’s who crafted the world of Evalasia by their very own hands. Since the beginning, the Kingdom of Aion had been special, and that is why they chose Lucas, a once poor stable boy, to rule the land of magic as he saw fit.

The holy beings that lived in the Kingdom of the sky’s above Evalasia were rocked with sudden sadness when Toaz waged war and crossed the borders of Aion, knowing they could do nothing but watch as the lands they blessed with their very own hands slowly died as it cried for it’s people. The forests, mountains and holy animals that lived happily side by side with the mortals slowly faded away, just as the human’s who fought for Aion’s freedom had.

It was forbidden for Kingdom’s within Evalasia to wage war against each other, for they would face the wrath of Anu, the God of war, who abolished any sort of warring travesty from the time life began in Evalasia. However, Toaz had God’s of their own on its side. The God Isis, whom had been banished from the sky Kingdom, Lucina, centuries ago, had seen the malice and dark jealousy of Toaz’s Lord Leon. He had taken it upon himself to seek out other’s whom had been banished from Lucina and gather them to serve Lord Leon of Toaz, although the jealous Lord would never know it was he who was serving them. In order to seek revenge for being thrown out of Lucina and having been turned into mere mortals, the fallen children of the sky Kingdom manipulated Leon into doing their bidding – waging war on Lucina’s God’s most prized creation, Aion.

With wingless God’s and an evil Lord on Toaz’s side, Aion was theirs for the taking. The God’s who perched themselves on the clouds watched in horror as Aion fell to its knee’s. Although some were angry, Anu forbid his children from stepping in and helping the soldiers who fought bravely for their King and for Aion. Some wept, some were heartbroken, but most were horrified that the fallen God’s – who had once been their brother’s and sisters – would want to destroy something they themselves had once cherished so. Evil truly did reside in Evalasia, a land they had sculpted and built with their very souls. It was not a mortal’s doing that had tainted their blessed world; it was by their very own kind – by once-God’s who had had their wings clipped for breaking the rules of Lucina. Anu had spared their souls once by turning them into mortals, but this time, even Anu contemplated ending their very existence.

Some God’s couldn’t bear to let Aion be destroyed, and defied Anu’s law – despite knowing they could be banished – and traveled to the still standing castle of Aion, the one place Toaz had yet to take over. As they landed upon Aion’s soil, the land could almost feel it’s creators energy, and gathered the last of it’s magic to touch it’s King and Queen one last time. That was enough to know Aion wanted to live on, no matter the outcome, if to protect the mortal’s that had made the land their home.

And so it was that Aion was given a second chance to redeem it’s freedom and the countless lives lost that dreadful day. Aristae could not bear to lose her King, but as Aion slowly died, as would he. Lucas smiled and nodded his thanks to the God’s; signing the contract on his soul to be taken once the war was won. The memories of Queen Aristae, King Lucas and all that fought for Aion would be erased, but in return, the God of new life left behind a seer that would help guide Aion’s King to those promised five warriors. With them, Aion would win. They would be born as any other human, but with the powers of a God of Lucina. If they wanted nothing to do with this war, Lucas was prompted to urge them to fight, for any born from a God’s power would still have the free will of a mortal. King Lucas promised he would try his best.

As the God’s returned to Lucina, time seemed to turn back. A year and eight summers were returned to Evalasia, and all those that were present during the war between Aion and Toaz had forgotten the turmoil that had transpired. Lives that were lost in the fight were returned to life, and the magic of Aion was brighter and more alive then ever. However, the time that was restored could not stop Toaz’s intentions and talk of war was beginning yet again to circulate.

Many woman and children were moved to the outer regions and the safe havens of Aion, as they had been the first time Toaz attacked, but many men and sons died in battle a second time – those lives could not be returned. However, this time around, five special young warriors were chosen and found eligible to fight for their Kingdoms freedom, by the help of King Lucas’s seer – granted to him by the God of new life – a holy man by the name of Marcus.

The warriors promised to King Lucas – although he did not remember the promise made by the God’s of Lucina – were indeed powerful, and fought righteously against Leon and his banished God’s. However, as Lucas’s future was altered, so was Leon’s. As the God’s watched on in delight from their Kingdom in the sky, they had not anticipated that the memories of Isis and the fallen God’s would not be erased. Although mortal’s now, they still had the little powers they had when they were blessed in Lucina. As if in a small twist of fate or sheer irony, Leon’s only daughter and former princess of Toaz, was among those five warriors. She was the wind user, and as all God’s know, by taking something from another, they would have to give something back – what they had given Leon in return for the powers of his only child was an even greater power, more evil then any of Lucina could comprehend. Isis had dabbled in dark magic, giving Leon more strength then even a God could fight.

Lord Leon used the best of his ability to bring down the warriors of Aion, and ultimately succeeded. The five died at the hands of the Lord and the Kingdom of Toaz would soon prevail. However, King Lucas of Aion would not take the deaths of the five warriors he saw like his own children lying down. In a decision that would change both the fate of Lucina and Aion alike, the God’s had given back the memories that they had taken from Lucas of the fight he had lost, and the God of light had given him a magic crystal to help aid him in the fight against Leon. As the God’s stepped in to the battle that would determine Aion’s freedom – even Anu, the God of war, had watched from his throne in hopes that Aion would succeed, forgetting momentarily about the punishment his children faced on their return to Lucina – King Lucas was given the powers he needed to defeat this evil Lord.

Using all his strength, King Lucas trapped Lord Leon and the fallen God’s into the small crystal given to him. As both the Kingdom’s of Aion and Lucina cheered for the King’s joyous win for freedom, King Lucas mourned the loss of his five warriors. In the end, it was a battle he had lost a second time.

Shortly after, the God’s returned to Lucina without the soul of King Lucas. If Lucas died, Leon and the fallen God’s would be released from the crystal, and although Lucas and his kin would have an immortal life within the walls of Aion’s castle, Anu warned them that the magic Lucas used had taken a toll on his body, leaving him sickly. Without punishment, the God’s landed in Lucina to talk with their father, at which time he explained that there will be a day when Lucas will die and when that time came, the crystal will shatter. They were saddened by the thought of Lucas’s death, and that Aion may be in danger a third time. In the back of their minds, they tried to dim the pain of losing the warriors born from their Godly powers, and that a piece of them had died also.

As time went on, the five warriors were forgotten, their names only a legacy told by the elders to the new generation. Aion was flourishing and happy, especially with the rise of the new King, King Lucas’s son, born many years after the war against Toaz and Lord Leon. More years passed and Aristae bore a daughter to Lucas, a princess. Lucas’s children would grow up hearing the stories of the five warriors of Aion, who were born from the God’s themselves to help their father. They would also grow up with the knowledge that the warriors were dearly loved by the Kingdom of Aion, and that the God’s themselves had come to the battle front to aid their father against Toaz after the warriors deaths.

However, over the years Lucas had become ill, and knew his time was not long for Aion. The God’s knew it would soon be time to take Lucas home with them, although now he would not become the God of Aion, but a spirit of the land. Aion would not let its King go to Lucina in the sky, for the land needed him even in death.

One moonless night, Lucas went to each of the young warriors tombs. They had been sculpted from marble and each bore a symbol after the God’s they were created from. Letters from children cascaded around the solid marble tombs, hoping to reach the saviors of Aion. As the story goes, they were returned to Lucina to be with the God’s in the sky, but Lucas knew their souls had gone to a different place, another world unknown to Evalasia.

Lucas smiled as he casted a small, but powerful spell. From the youngest to the eldest, King Lucas made a dying promise that dreary night as he scratched small symbols into the stone doors of the tombs - Lord Leon and his God’s would not be trapped in the crystal, known only as the Aurora of Death, for much longer and with Lucas’s growing illness and age, the warriors who had fallen in that terrible battle would be Aion’s only hope for salvation. With his last breath, Lucas promised that Constantine, Elexa, Athan, Eleena and Aira would someday be reborn with the memory that they had sworn their loyalty to Aion and King Lucas. Unlike he, they were not spirits of Aion, nor were they made God’s of Lucina. Their souls were sent to another world, where Anu promised they would be safe.

They gave up their young lives for the sake of Aion. No longer could the God’s of Lucina spare Aion from another tragic war. It was up to these five to keep the peace they had fought side by side with Lucas for all those years ago.

King Lucas died that night, and with his death, Lord Leon was released from the Aurora. The war has begun again and the only hope for Aion resides in five oblivious humans whom were simply trying to go about their normal day, in a whole other world... The magic of Aion and King Lucas has called them back to fulfill the destiny they were born to have.

In a world only known to the God’s of Lucina and King Lucas, in the hopes his warriors would be safe until the time came for them to return to Aion, the day started normally. Teenagers were grudgingly heading into school, kids were playing sick to get out of sports day, and parents and working men and woman were getting ready for the Monday rush. Everything seemed normal, everything was normal... all except for the special few around the world who seem to be having anything but a normal day.

Delusions are plaguing these special five, of a glowing blue crystal shattering into pieces and an evil so gut-wrenching appearing before them, his lips peeled back in a hideous smile. Five other’s huddle around him, laughing and laughing as they stare down at their hands, making sure they are real. Their dream, flash or daydream ends with a beautiful castle set aflame, and thousands upon thousands of soldiers clad in armor and weapons dead on the ground, blood spilling like a river around them. Women and children hide in the forest before more soldiers, different from the one’s that lay dying or dead, come after them, cutting through the forest with sharp blades and a war-cry. A sharp scream can be heard, almost as if the forest itself is screaming in pain.

As these five come to, they’re no longer in their own world filled with bustling people and the stench of petrol in the air, but in Aion, the land blessed by the God’s of Lucina.

NPC’s

Queen Aristae

Queen Aristae played a minor role in the war with Aion and Toaz, but she was always King Lucas's backbone. She had been close with the five warriors of Aion, as they had lived in the castle with her and King Lucas. Queen Aristae is old and wise, and dotes on her son and daughter constantly, especially with the war once more against Toaz, a Kingdom that had been thrown into poverty with the fall of Lord Leon. Now that their Lord has returned, he seeks vengeance against King Lucas's successor, his only son, and the woman whom holds the key to unlocking the returned warriors memories. Old and wise, the Queen plays an important part in the quest for peace once more.

Lord Leon

King Lucas, in his rage and broken heartedness, used up most of his power to bring down this powerful and wicked King. Lord Leon deceived the five warriors and in doing so, brought on his own downfall. Upon his release from the Aurora of Death (the crystal King Lucas trapped Leon in,) Lord Leon managed to escape from the guards King Lucas’s son had ordered to kill him – thanks to the fallen God’s by his side, the soldiers were made quick work of. Badly wounded, Lord Leon risked his life to travel back to Toaz, only to find it poverty stricken and his Kingdom barley a Kingdom any longer.

Slowly, Lord Leon built his Kingdom back from the ground up, and now has an army twice the size of Aion. The God, Isis, prophesized to his Lord that his days were again numbered, for the five warriors whom had fallen at Lord Leon’s knee’s all those centuries ago would return from the sky and again Toaz would fall. The warriors would be stronger and take on the army of Toaz with a single hand, and Leon, this time, would not be trapped for the remainder of one man’s life, but surely he would die at the hands of the new King.

Leon, scared and outraged that Lucas had tricked him once again, used up most of his remaining dark magic to give the fallen God’s around him the power needed to destroy the humans. They are out for blood, because once Aion is under their control, Lucina is next.

The Seer, Marcus

Marcus was created by the God of Light to help guide King Lucas to the warriors. As time went on, he has picked up a will of his own and feels he is in debt to King Lucas and the royal family. He continues to stay by their side, guiding the new King in his journey to the throne of Aion.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The God’s of the Sky Kingdom Character’s

Anu, the God of War - NPC

Anu is, what human’s would call, the ‘King’ of the Sky Kingdom, Lucina. He is the God of War, but contrary to his title, he despises warring – especially in Evalasia. He is known as ‘father’ to the God’s that reside in Lucina. He is strict and has a short temper when it comes to his children going to Evalasia, especially to dabble in the human’s affairs. He still won’t let them forget their place in Lucina, and forbids them to ever do what they did during the war between Toaz and Aion ever again… though, that does not always stop them.

The Fire God – Controls, manipulates and rules anything that is a heated substance. If angry enough, this God can literally melt the skin off of your body. The fire warrior, Constantine, was born from the Fire God’s powers. - (OPEN)

The God of New Life – This God control’s the plants and life that run through Evalasia. It is up to them to maintain the earth and animal life throughout Evalasia and most importantly, to sustain the magic of Aion. The earth warrior, Alexa, was born from the God of New Life’s powers.(OPEN)

The River God – This God control’s the rivers and lakes that flow through Evalasia. They make sure the human’s and animals that live within their world have enough water to survive, and works with the God of the Sky to fill the rivers and lakes when needed. This God also has the power to turn rain to snow, or lakes to ice, at any given time, depending on their mood. The water warrior, Athan, was born from the River God’s powers.(OPEN)

The God of Light – Where there is evil, there is good. This God makes certain there is peace within Aion, but since the fall of Toaz, has no claim to help the evil that resides within Lord Leon’s Kingdom. This God is made up of all that is good, and has the power to show those who mean ill will towards others the light of their ways. They can also communicate with the animals of Evalasia, and makes it a duty to protect them from human hands. The mind bender, Eleena, was born from the God of Light’s powers.(OPEN)

The Sky God – This God control’s the weather of Evalasia, and has a short temper if goaded. From thunder and lightning, to hot sticky summer days, this God control’s all that helps sustain life within Evalasian. The Warrior of the Wind, Aira, was born from the Sky God’s powers.(OPEN)

Appearance: (Please add a written appearance description. One full paragraph or more is needed to be accepted. Pictures are optional, but if you do add a picture, please do not add celebrity pictures. Anime or drawn pictures are preferable. Some have wings, some do not – it is your choice.)

Personality: (Please read my short bio of each God character and go from there of what you think their personality would be like. Although good, they can have a short temper, and other negative traits.)

Marking: (Each God in Lucina is born with a specific marking on their skin. Please describe what your character’s mark looks like, and as an option, you can also add a picture if applicable.)

Powers: (Although I already explained their powers, you may expand on them as you see fit. Do NOT add anything that they weren’t born with in Lucina. If your character is the God of Light they cannot use fire, or cause earthquakes, etc.)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Fallen God’s of Toaz

Their fall from the grace of Lucina had been hard. These God’s were the tyrants of the blessed Kingdom, and were once son’s and daughter’s of the Anu, who himself banished them for their insolence. For whatever reason they were cast out and thrown into Evalasia, to live as human’s, they are scorned and followed Isis in hopes of taking back their birth rights as God’s of Evalasia.

The Once-God, Isis - NPC

Isis was the Dark God, and despite his name, he was in no way evil – he wasn’t always a vengeance seeking fallen God. He is Anu’s little brother – or was – and for his lack of compassion for the human’s of Evalasia, as well as his constant violence towards the humans who passed his sight, Anu banished him from Lucina and turned him into a mortal – to teach him that human’s weren’t as weak as they seemed. Isis, angry that he was robbed of his title as a God, has vowed to take back Lucina and destroy his big brother… by any means. Although they do not possess their full powers, they do, however, still have the power to take on the God’s of Lucina thanks to Isis and his black magic.

The God of Life – This God had once worked side by side with the God of New Life, each working to help the human’s of Evalasia. This God made sure the newborn children of Evalasia found their first laugh, because the laughter of children is what brightened the spirit of Aion. However, after their fall from Lucina, this God has turned cynical and despises the human’s – as the God of Life, they have the power to either give life, or to take it, and they have chosen the latter in order to rid Evalasia of Aion and Lucina all together. With the click of their fingers, the air will be sucked from a mere human’s lungs, and their heart will stop. – (OPEN)

The God of Thunder – The Thunder God once had the power to shake up all of Evalasia if they needed. Earthquakes were a rarity when this God had his title in Lucina, but whenever Anu was angered with the human’s he would call on the Thunder God to shake up the world of Evalasia to remind the mortal’s who it was that created their home in the first place. Anger this God and they will knock you off your feet, destroying mountains and Kingdoms alike with one stomp of their heel. – (OPEN)

The God of Healing – Despite their name, this God was quite the scariest one to ever be thrown from Lucina. Once the being that protected the creatures who called Evalasia their home, they are now cynical and call those same creatures to the battle front, turning them into dark, horrible creatures bent on destruction and blood shed. This God can turn a harmless rabbit into a sharp-toothed feral monster, and what’s scarier, he can control whom they attack and when. Wolves, Dragons, and other creatures of Evalasia can be controlled and destroy entire Kingdoms with just a command from the former God of Healing. – (OPEN)

The God of Might – This God was once worshipped by warriors and soldiers alike. The God helped them in battle and revered in the glory the soldiers placed in him. Although Anu, the God of War, looked down on this sort of act, he could not deny humans did have their disagreements. The God of Might saw Anu as weak, for the Might God had the power to give human’s strength, or take it away. He is a strong God, being able to lift whole mountains with his pinky finger and able to corrupt human’s with the promise of power. – (OPEN)

The Castle of Aion

Image

The castle was once home to the warriors of Aion. Lucas treasured this place, and raised his family with love and compassion here. It is still ruled by Queen Aristae and under heavy guard from the threat of Leon.

The Forest of Aion

Image

The forest of Aion was once the playground for many of Aion’s children. However, the war took many lives, adult and children alike, and the soldiers of Toaz slaughtered many woman and children in the magical forest. The forest is known to carry the laughter of the children who once played there, and sometimes passerby’s can ever hear the shrill screams of the women who tried desperately to save their children’s lives. Many of the surviving families still came to the forest to say a pray.

Lucina, Kingdom of the God’s

Image

The Kingdom floats above Evalasia, and on a full moon if one is lucky, they can sometimes see the clouds part and Lucina appears – if for a brief moment. It is something the human’s of Evalasia treasure if ever they can see a glance of it.

The large stonewalls are forever clouded in darkness. Inside are courtyards made as strict training grounds, and beyond the castle lye’s the poverty ruins of the Kingdom itself, filled with beggars and loud drunks who were stripped of their titles after their Lord’s fall.

The Mountains of Toaz

Image

These mountains were not always so baron, but after Lord Leon’s rule the magic that had once made Toaz breathtakingly beautiful – so that it even rivaled Aion – disappeared. The Dragon’s that live amongst these ruined mountains were once the protectors of Toaz, but are now feared beasts that will not hesitate to kill if necessary.

That is all. Please reserve characters in the OOC if needed. This is an old RP, the plot for the warriors was a story I created on my other account, but the RP died and I thought it sad to let it go to waste. I have expanded on the plot a lot. So please take care to read and submit your character when necessary.

Toggle Rules

+swearing is most certainly allowed. Don’t like it, don’t read it.
+romance is allowed, but I don’t want it taking up most of your storyline.
+violence is encouraged.
+characters do die, but it has to be approved by myself and the character’s owner.
+you will be issued three warnings if you god-mod, cause problems between players or continue to make short posts.
+take this rule very seriously. I do not want one paragraph posts.
+please try to post every 2-4 days. Life gets in the way, I understand and this gives you plenty of time to make a post for us. If you don’t post, or respond to PM’s, your character will be automatically killed off and you won’t be allowed to join back up.
+I’m not God; I do make mistakes, so please correct me on anything I might say. You have your opinion, I have mine. My say is NOT law when it comes to this RP; your character adds to and makes this RP what it is.
+have fun!
