Caged. mutated. Tortured. abused. Disrespected. neglected. Forgotten. Experimented on.
They took you when you were young. Or even when you were old. They just took you. Your families might forget over time. Police searches have come up with nothing, for they never leave anything behind. Anyone who suspects something is immediately killed. You have been taken to a very high tech, top secret, highly classified, well guarded research facility in Arizona. The building doesn't show up on a map. According to the world, this place does not exist. Once you got there, you were caged, and experimented on. YOu were mutated into something, anything they wished. and they intended to keep you there. After enough pain and agony, will you finally escape.... or maybe....

THE RESEARCH FACILITY
[/center[center]This research facility is in basically the middle of nowhere. It is equipped with trucks, vans, jeeps, off-road vehicles, helicopters, even a couple jets. It has several security guards. The kids are kept in individual cages that look like this:
If the kid has a mutant ability (such as super strength or something that could break the bars or cage, then they are either given solitary confinement rooms (rooms with really thick metal walls and a thick (almost a foot in width) door That is kept in place with a keypad lock. Security cameras are everywhere in the room, alone with motion detected dart guns in which scientists in a separate control room control. Or, the mutant kid is put into cages built into the wall, that have much stronger reinforced bars, but tend to be smaller cages.
THE MUTATIONS
Just for the purposes of this role-play, I would prefer there be mostly teenagers. Once you have established a teenage character (age 13-19), feel free to take on a second character that is younger or older. You can even choose to pick up a NPC character, such as the boss of the research facility, or a specific security guard.
Each mutant will already have a mutation from the list below (if the mutation is reserved/already chosen, you must pick a different one. These are all mutations i am ok with. This is so no two persons have the same power. If you have a really good idea for a different mutation not on the list, run it by me, i am open to suggestions! (just make sure you tell me first!!)
I DO NOT ACCEPT RESERVATIONS!!! THIS IS A FIRST COME FIRST SERVE DEAL.
Unless you are making the character that instant, and want to be sure that that is your mutation for sure, because the personalities might depend on it, do not ask to reserve. If you do beg me to reserve and i do, I will be taking down the reservation in only a couple HOURS. You MUST only be reserving if you are making the character sheet RIGHT AWAY.
Each mutant will also receive one or more SECONDARY mutations, which they will get later through experiments. That does not mean you get every single secondary power on that last within the next day. You get them slowly. In fact i might periodically say "ok, -your name- you can have a secondary mutation" or even hint to within the role-play, that a scientist is coming to give you a secondary mutation.

-no one liners. I know tornado fan, you did a lot of one liners in the original role play. The reason so many people dropped was because it was too fast paced, it was only between you and the other guy, and nobody liked reading fifty new one liner posts once you got on. Please have a couple sentences, at least five, but i prefer one, two, three four, even five paragraph posts.
-BE ACTIVE!!! I know things come up, but i would like if possible, a post a day. Even if you go on just to tell us in OOC that you are swamped with calculus homework or have an english paper to write, that would be very helpful, just so I know that you are still participating in this role-play, and i can expect a post from you. I HATE WAITING!!! I LIKE KNOWING THAT SOMEONE WILL ACTUALLY POST!!! This is a fairly fast paced role-play.

You shouldn't be formulating some mastermind prison break on your first post. Form relationships with other characters, first. Even once you are actually escaping, do not get out with not a single scratch! Some people were fighting you! maybe a bullet grazed your leg, or you broke your arm in a massive fight scene. there is always struggle
-Swearing/sex. I honestly could care less how much swearing and/or sex you put in this as long as it builds character and adds to the story. This is an orgy and this is night a time for you to be swearing every sentence just because I said I didn't care. In fact, it would totally build to a story if a scientist raped someone. "Ok!! Do as you wish!! Roxanne!! Lets get out of here! Well that is.. unless you wan you want to stay here to..." Tris said as he took 2 cages and made a portable barricade. He wasn't going to stay here. He had a duty. A duty to tell the world the existence of this place. What they have been doing to us here. What they have done to me.
As Tris gained control over his abilities, he tried to reclaim his memories. It was painful ordeal to pass. He had to insert electrical signals to each part of his brain which wasn't always painless. And when there was pain... Who can imagine the pain that is directly inserted into your brain? Still... the only memory he was able to recall was a family. Probably his Mom, Dad and his little sister. That moment you feel when you don't remember their name. That moment where you cry out as you see all of them being shot by armed men. That moment when you can't even shout out their name as they die, just because you don't remember their name.

Roxanne bit her lip before turning back to everyone else. If that was what they really wanted to do, she had absolutely no right in trying to stop them. She rolled her eyes at Tris. "Why in the world would I want to stay? It's time to blow this pop stand!" She grinned and made herself into one person again. Tris had managed to make a pretty decent... battering ram? Well, it could be used like that. Roxy was about to ask him when she noticed his expression. He seemed to be in pain, both physical and mental, and he kept slightly wincing at something. "Are you alright?" Tris muttered something as he walked away, but it was too quiet for Roxanne to hear. She followed behind him, ducking the random items being thrown around the room, and glanced at all the others. "Is everybody else ready?"

Even though he had use much of his power, he still had power left. "Sorry I ignored you... I'm fine... I think...." he said to Roxanne as he tried to calm himself.
He saw a unopened cage on the way out. 'Ha!... What do you know? I thought I opened every cage...' he thought as he busted open the cage. Then he turned to ward the one door. Normally, he wouldn't want to go through that door intentionally. However, this time, they were going to escape. "Follow if you want... Stay if you wish..." he murmured as he stepped into the white room, to ... in the middle of a desert????

Melyssa
(I'm sorry, I was on Holiday)
Howling. Screaming. Crashing. Every kind of noises can be heard from upstairs and it can only mean one thing, they're trying to escape. Melyssa looks up to the ceiling, smirking to herself.
Different from the other mutants, she's been kept in the basement to assist the scientists in the looking out for escaping, but this one is not going to be harmful. Not when three of them are still in doubt. Even if they did, they would not be brave enough to venture in the outside world. Not when the exit leads to the cruel desert.
Melyssa is specially trained by the boss for this mission. That is why she is kept there, away from the others. Her cage is bigger and probably about ten more times stronger than the others because of the power unknown to her and was said to be powerful. She also has a monitor directly in front of her bed so she can observe everything, and a guard to keep her company and assess her improvements.
"The boss said to go upstairs." The big tanned man tells her calmly. For her this is a priviledge, meaning she can actually observe them live, not in just some silly monitor, so she jumps up in excitement.
The journey was uneventful, only rows and rows of corridors leading to who know where, but the one that she took leads up to the metal door separating her and the mutant. He decides to leave her from here and starts walking away,
She enters the bloodbath. Scanning around, estimating the loss of staffs. It's not that bad. She then grabs a free scientist by hand and turns her towards herself as she tells her, "Hurt me". The woman looks at her curiously. "The boss sent me here." With the woman still in daze she slaps her, "Do what I say!"
The woman still did not respond so she takes her hand and put it around her neck as she screams for help. "Someone! Someone help me!"

That mutation that harute was recommending for tornadofan.. I think I might use it for my second character. I think it would suit him. Is that okay with everyone?

i've decided to make a male character, and let's just say i decided to think a little bit outside the box with him :D (tell me if it's going too outside the box, though. He's still a wip, so i'll be able to change him if need be.)

It's alright! I was just keen to use Ashleigh because I edited the picture I was using for her and I was quite proud of it hhaha but it's okay I understand :) I can find somewhere else to use that character later on in life xD I think I'll make another male for Luckys twin though, try to even out the ratio, you know? I'll work on it today!

For Tornadofan2. Since the GM said your ablilty couldn't be used a small suggestion. How about a a temperacer??? You may no notice but a lot of natural disasters have to do with changes in the atmosphere. So by heating up the atmosphere in the right way, you can probably summon small tornadoes, or simply freeze your opponent stone cold? My opinion is that there probably should be limits to your power like you can't heat or freeze something unless you can touch them but except for that, it looked like a very fun ability for me... As I proclaim... This is just a suggestion and it was never my intention to lecture or anything... Thank you.. Hope I can enjoy this RP with you all!!!

Im very sorry KnotAubrey, I hate to say this, but you might have to choose a different mutation. Some of my older friends Tornadofan2 and defiler are both half animal (they are taking up their original characters)... three would just be chaos.... very very sorry. I know there has been a mixup.

Temperacer Make heat or take away heat (basically freezing cold)

I have found the ultimate ability since I am the Electro Master!!!! Ha!!.. I think anyone with telepathic abilities can also do the same as I can if they get strong enough!!! Ill pm the people who are about that!!! HAHAHAHAHA!!!

I changed my character up a bit to fit current style of the character sheet. Looks a bit better I think. Just wanted to let the GM know.

Hey I checked just before finishing up Ashleighs character sheet to make sure half-animal was still available, and it was at the time. I had no idea it was reserved. I'm sorry about the mix up, I wasn't trying to be disrespectful.

Hey I was thinking about submitting a character, but I had a quick question? Do you mind if I make up twins? One girl (I realize the girl spots are taken, but it was worth an ask haha) and one boy? Yello!!!! May I reserve for Male 1??? Also, I haven't got threw all the ablilties but I would like to take up something called the electro master??? If you have ever seen the anime "Toaru kakauno Railgun" you will understand. I probably think my character would be that strong but I was thinking maybe shoot lightning bolts, make a magnetic field to control metal objects or attach myself to a metal wall or such for now. Maybe as the roleplay continues, I might shoot a Railgun or 2..????!!!! HAHA LOOKING FORWARD..
