Leon Kyte's Story

LEON KYTE

Leon awoke to the clanging of a cage door being opened, he then opened his eyes and realizes it was his own cage. "What the heck?" he mumbled to himself "What's the heck is going on, where am I?"

He yawned and stretched up his arms, hitting the cage's ceiling as he did. He crawled out and stepped onto the cold ground. He shuddered at the coldness because he was barefoot and was wearing nothing more then a plain white t shirt and shorts.

He was greeted by the sight of many dead bodies, all wearing white lab coats.
"I wake up from my nap and I'm greeted with this?" He thought to himself.

He then saw two human beings on the far side of the room, it was a taller man, and a very tiny girl. He briskly walked towards them, maybe they would have something to do with all these dead bodies. He tripped over a corpse and fell over "Oof!" He decided to call out to them

"Hello!?" he called out to them, they seemed to be preoccupied.

"Hello!??!? Ugh, why are they ignoring me?"

he decided to snapped his fingers so he could get their attention. He snapped his finger and a little flame formed at the tip. Leon was shocked "AH I'M ON FIRE!!! I"M ON FIRE!!!!"

He tried blowing it out, but it wouldn't go out. He tried shaking his finger around, but it only made the fire bigger. He then snapped his fingers again, and the flame died out.
"I can make fire? WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON!!!"

"Don't be jealous...... You don't know how it feels to know that you have life of someone else in your fingertips.... To know how futile it is for them to exist.... To know, what ever they do.... you can erase what ever they did with a sweep of your hand." Tris said with a sad look on his face toward Roxanne. She or nobody in this room know. The sensation he felt. Not knowing, it would feel like just a tiny spark of electricity has been eliminated. However, to someone who knew what it meant, it would mean they will never see a day again. That sensation when you realize that everything they stood for, was just a few electrical signals.

"Newbie!!! Make it quick.. We are getting behind!!! It's now or never. You leave with us right know, or you leave behind! and don't think we will regret it!! We gave you the most time we can to choose." Tris said as he regretted the fact that he couldn't give them more time.

'Oh damn... that guys on fire....' Tris thought as he stared at the guy who just jumped out and started to catch on fire. 'Wat da.......????'

Leon realized one of the guys was looking at him "Finally he can see me, I thought I was invisible or something!" Leon thought to himself as he got up from the floor.

"Wow so I can make fire...that's something new." Leon lowered his head as he thought about his new found power.

He then proceeded to walk on over to the other guy, the dude with the black hair. He noticed that there were more people in the room now, a boy with a wolf tail and a group of identical triplets or something. "Weird"
He called out to them "Hey! Hello My name is Leon! Can you guys tell about what we are doing?" Before he could see any of them giving any acknowledgement whatsoever, something suddenly grabbed his leg.

He look down and saw that one of the corpses was still alive and grabbed onto his leg. "The Hell?! I thought you were dead." He shook his leg, but the person wouldn't let go. The person had a gun in his hand "Oh shit! You have a gun!" Leon had to think of something quickly, then he realized he had some type of mutant power now, but he didn't really know how to control it. He tried the snapping again and a little flame formed at the tip. " Can't I get this any bigger?!"
The person was still grabbing on the him and it looked like he was aiming the gun right at Leon. Leon started to panic and at the same time he felt heat build up in him and out of nowhere, his hand shot a fireball at the ground. "What was that, can i do that again?" This time Leon aimed at the person and focused all his energy into his hand. Just like before out came a fireball, he had set the person on fire.
He stepped back and continued walking towards the group of other people asking them "Will You quit ignoring me, and tell WHAT IS GOING ON?"
