This is your future.

Some time in the future, Multibillion dollar corporations were starting to go against each other more intensely. In the start they all had at some point decided to work together to jump the world into the future. This was speedily accomplished in 2012 when the world had been prophesied to end. And it did: the world of yesterday had ended as people were quickly forced into the world of flying cars, gadgets, and super advanced robotics.

After working so hard for this future, these companies all disbanded due to different viewpoints, stealing of ideas, and the like. Things eventually began to get violent after some wives were slept with, work deleted or stolen off of computers thanks to hackers, and the last twinkie in the lounge fridge being stolen, even.

It couldn't be a worse time for some high profile members to begin worrying about their families and friends: as assassins and street punks were hired to do dirty work, and Private Military Companies quickly being considered, safety of people became a major concern for the Government as well as everyone else.

The children of some of these big names were on top priority as they would become the heirs of their parents, grandparents, uncles, aunts, etc. So it was taken upon them to hire the finest to guard them: Super Athletes, Assassins, anyone with military police training, etc.

Of course, the bodyguards in this story shall be no older than the ones they're guarding. Some are former Sports stars, Some trained from an early age in the art of politics and assassination, and others studying/training primarily in school for Law Enforcement, or other army work. Could it be possible these young men and women may just fall in love?...

Power Classes (For Bodyguards)

Cyborg: Perhaps you are part, or entirely one. In the end you used to be a full human at some point. Your body has been augmented with technological advances to turn you into what is considered these days as a 'Superman.' guns are your specialty.

Bio: Your body just learned to evolve with the times. Maybe you had genetic modifications. Regardless, you could match a Cyborg while still retaining all your organs. ESP is your specialty.

Training: You do not need implants or machines to fuel you. You have pushed your body past physical limits. You are a prime example of what a human can accomplish with hard work. Your specialty is Unarmed.

Powers/Skills/Weapons:

Basic Types- (Everyone has these)

Firearms: Still, and always will be popular. Knowing weaponry well is good for anyone prepared to take lives for any possible reason.

Melee weapons: seldom used. tools like swords, knives, the like. They're more like sidearms now.

Unarmed: Raise your Dukes. In this age fist fighting hasn't been abandoned. In fact with enhanced physical power these days, it's become more interesting. Every bodyguard has basic training in this.

Agility: Leap hundreds of feet into the air, almost as if you could fly.

Sonic Speed: Supersonic Speed is uncommon, but not impossible. Coupled with good Unarmed, one can dominate in close quarters. They say if you're fast enough, you can even disappear from sight.

Exclusive types- (not all characters can have these)

ESP: Psychic powers. Merely levitation of objects and one's self, as well as elemental control (Pyrokinesis, Cryokinesis, etc). Some say Psi power can be channeled into a blast of light...

Cyber Weaponry: A Cyborg can become a living weapon by augmenting themselves with gadgets and hidden guns, as well as plasma generators for extra power/laser blasts.
