Welcome to the World Of The Gourmet Era, and the story of Tokiro!: A world of culinary advancements and the most delicious food ever to exist!
But you have to ask: How is it a chef is able to cook all sorts of foods? Well, let me explain:
New Animals. Beasts and other uncommon creatures of the earth, Ranked by the IGO, International Gourmet Organization, based on their difficulty. A Level One Animal alone takes 10 pro hunters with shotguns. Why go to such lengths for a meal? Because: It pays, and most of all, being a Chef, or a Gourmet Hunter is the prime profession in this life.
The Gourmet Hunters are the real helpers behind the scenes, catching these beasts of awe to turn into fine culinary creations, going after the legendary beasts of their world.
However, of the Gourmet Hunters, there are a few that have Experienced a meal including the Supernatural, Gourmet Jellyfish, Which is said to hold Gourmet Cells. Gourmet Cells, when compatible with the user, grant superhuman abilities that allow the host to become powerful enough to challenge Beasts to levels unimagined.
But for Every hunter, There must be a partner! A Chef to cook their meal. A Goal of these Hunters is often to make their 'perfect meal' with all their courses like dessert, drink, main course, etc. In order to be fed, the hunter provides the chef with animals and different ingredients, while the chef needs the hunter for ingredients and animals.
So Get a move on! the IGO needs you to get some animals!

"...I could use a meal also." He stated. "I'm not an expert at cooking...I can only fight."

"Fighting, eh? Must make you tired. Let me whip you up somethin' quick." The woman had replied, with a tone that could make anyone suspicious.
If she could impress this hunter with her cooking, she might find herself finding a partner, and therefore fame. Oh, what a plan. The brunette then disappeared inside to the kitchen. A good while later, the woman emerged with a large plate of food, one that included a wide variety of meats and other such ingredients. The plate was set down in front of the traveller, and Sitka found herself watching him like a hawk, to see whether or not he would like it. She would wait to see whether she had hit the jackpot or not. Meanwhile, she sat herself down.
"So, how good of a fighter are you, eh?" The woman asked curiously.

"AND FURTHERMORE!" Shouted an abusive father, yelling at his family for some unexplainable reason... "I WILL BEAT THE LIVING SHIT AND COLORS OUT OF YOU IF-"

The house was now taken apart by Jay's Spike Punch. The abusive father's family glared, rushing him with various things from around the house.

Jay dusted off his hands.
"Human Weaponry, eh? Lets discuss the marriage over dinner!" He exclaimed, likely making the girl go 'WTF?!'
"C'mon, I should meet your family!"

'Human weaponry, eh? Let's discuss the marriage over dinner!'
The glutton's jaw dropped. If a jaw could stretch wide enough to hit the floor, hers would have done already. And it would have piled up on itself like an ice cream. Her eyes were equally as wide, to the point where they looked as if they were about to pop out and roll across the ground.
Marriage? He'd said, marriage, hadn't he? No, no, no. That can't be right! I must have heard wrong. Yeah. That's it. She had started out on top, here; she had been the one trying to snag him. Now, all of a sudden, they were going to marry, apparently. Now, she'd expected gaining him as a partner to be easy, but not that easy. Not by far.
"You- What- I- . . . Marriage?! You wanna- To me? Y- Really?"
Oh, this was her ticket to fame, alright! She'd bagged herself an inhumanly powerful Gourmet Hunter. And, his looks weren't half bad either. Sure, he was a complete and utter stranger, but he wouldn't be for long. Besides, Sitkahna had always been an impulsive young lady. After stroking her chin for a good while, the woman had placed her hands firmly on her hips and grinned.
"Y'know what? Heck it. Let's got for it, Stranger! . . . Say, what's ya name, anyway?"

"I always wanted to meet a fine Chef to be my wife!" He cheered, raising a fist slightly, and silently weeping in a manly fashion. "And if she agrees, maybe someday, I'll even have a successor, if she allows me!"
But with his latest statement, His stomach was growling. Jay growled back. His stomach growled. He growled back. But he stopped: He had a chef! All he had to do now was wait for his chef to decide on the ingredients of their meal.
"So?..." Went Jay, calming down. "What's for dinner? Do I have to catch it?"

It was interesting to find that he even had a title and introduction for himself. The more she listened to what he had to say, the more excited she became. Oh, yes. Jay would definitely be her ticket to fame! With his help, she could be the very best. You could almost see the yen signs in her eyes as she fantasized about the future, an absent-minded giggle escaping once or twice. Having drifted back down to reality, Miss Etelkiede noted that Jay had said something about always wanting a fine Chef to be his wife. Well this is just killing two birds with one stone, then, ain't it? He gets his wife, I get my global recognition. Though, the statement about a 'successor' seemed to throw the woman off.
"Successor? Hold your horses, there, buddy. We gotta get the whole marriage business done first!"
Jay's stomach seemed to grumble. The effect quickly spread to Sitka, whose stomach also grumbled quite loudly.
" I need me some food."
As if on cue, Jay had asked what was for dinner, and whether he had to catch it. The woman placed a finger on her chin in thought, with a bizarre look of concentration, before coming to a conclusion.
"You gotta catch it, alright! Tonight we dine on Garara Gator!"

"AWESOME!" Went Jay. "I Can't wait! I'll prove that I Love you by killing this beast!"

The next thing they knew, the boat was delivering the two towards the island for the prized Baron Garara Gator.

Sitka rubbed her hands together as she stood on the deck of the boat. The woman seemed to lick her lips with glee. It had been a long time since she cooked Garara Gator, and even longer since she ate it.
"Come to mama!"

"Seeing as you're my chef, you might as well see: this is what we Gourmet Fighters call 'The Full Course Menu of Life.' It compiles meals made from ingredients we've hunted down, mainly all our favorites in several categories."

The dark-skinned woman seemed to narrow her eyes at the young man and poked the menu for every word she said.
"Then, why is it empty? It don't look very appetizing to me!"

"That's because I haven't decided what my courses are..."

"Well, I can help ya with that! We'll travel until we complete it, eh? How's that sound? You up for it?"

"I've hunted before, but I only want the best on my list. My True favorites. Not just anything that tastes good."
And he turned, placing a nice, warm kiss onto Sitka's Cheek.
"....Waifu. :D"

Meanwhile, a greeting party of Baron Leaches were making their way to the beach where they'd arrive...

Now, the kiss on the cheek. That was a surprise, but a nice one nonetheless. 'Waifu', he'd called her. That was very nice to hear; indeed, it was. Miss Etelkiede swung an arm around her fiance with a smile and planted a cheerful kiss on his cheek, as he had done to her a moment again.

A glance towards the beach showed that there was a large party of Baron Leeches making their way towards the shore. To which, the woman paused and blinked. After taking a moment to register what they were soon going to be encountering, Sitka clung to Jay with a shriek of disgust.
"Ew, Ew, Ew! Keep those icky things away! Don't let 'em touch me! Jaaayyyy, do something, damnit! I refuse to get off of this boat until those wretched things are dead!"

The kiss from the girl had made him 'Level up' As a Gourmet Hunter, from Level one, to two. The event occurred with Jay in a flash of Red Aura, before it became his normal Blue colored spirit.
LEVEL UP! YOU'RE A LEVEL 2 NOW, MOTHERFUCKER.

"I'll carry you across. Unfortunately, I have no salt to kill them."

Having received her reply, Sitkahna shrugged. She'd settle for being carried, as long as she didn't have to touch those damned leeches. The chef, however, did seem a bit dismayed by the fact that he had no salt. No matter. The woman rummaged through her pockets, her tongue stuck out in an expression of concentration, before her hand emerged with a salt shaker. Though, it wouldn't be enough to kill them all.
"What kind of chef would I be if I didn't have salt, eh? But it wouldn't kill 'em all. A quarter at most, I'd say. Either way -- get to it, husband!" With a determined huff, the woman shoved the salt shaker towards her fiance. She was determined to do something about the leeches, and to get past them somehow. Trying to get through them without any form of decent defense would be pointless. Of course, Jay could kill them off, of course, but she wanted him to save his energy for catching dinner.
