It was surprising -- Sitka's kiss had caused Jay to level up as a Gourmet Hunter; from Level 1 to Level 2. It was something she hadn't been expecting, to say the least.

Having received her reply, Sitkahna shrugged. She'd settle for being carried, as long as she didn't have to touch those damned leeches. The chef, however, did seem a bit dismayed by the fact that he had no salt. No matter. The woman rummaged through her pockets, her tongue stuck out in an expression of concentration, before her hand emerged with a salt shaker. Though, it wouldn't be enough to kill them all.

"What kind of chef would I be if I didn't have salt, eh? But it wouldn't kill 'em all. A quarter at most, I'd say. Either way -- get to it, husband!" With a determined huff, the woman shoved the salt shaker towards her fiance. She was determined to do something about the leeches, and to get past them somehow. Trying to get through them without any form of decent defense would be pointless. Of course, Jay could kill them off, of course, but she wanted him to save his energy for catching dinner.
