Wendy nodded at Peter's words as she walked back down to the kitchen. She had a soft grin on her face as she loved getting Peter up in the morning. He was almost always awake, but she recalled a time when he appeared to be sleeping soundly. She waited a moment before waking him up, as she looking down at the young boys peaceful face.
Wendy always loved to see her brothers sleeping. When they were sleeping they were at peace, and nothing could harm them. She also liked it when the lost boys slept as they were protected as well. She wished Peter would sleep more, but she new that he was the protector and would wake earlier and sty up late to make sure everyone was safe and sound.

As Wendy approached the kitchen, she sat down at her usual seat at the end of the table. All of the lost boys gathered around at the table sides, as they all filled their plates. Wendy saw Peter sit down at the opposite end and couldn't help but remember the seating arrangement was how her mother and father would sit. Wendy ate daintily as the lost boys talked. "Tootles, Eat slowly." Wendy said seeing the mess on the boys face. Wendy dabbed her napkin on her tongue and wiped Tootles face clean, just as her mother had always done to her brothers. Wendy, still having her mom mood on, also heard the ruckus coming from the twins disagreeing on some small matter. "Hey! Be nice to your brother." Wendy's sweet but stern voice called out, causing them to stop.

Wendy's attention went up to look at Peter as he spoke to her. A wide smile formed on her face as she glanced around. "W-Well, if it's not too much trouble, I have been wanting to go search for those sweet berries. You know the ones that you returned with a week ago." She said with hope. Wendy never liked to cause trouble so she was sometimes cautious with asking for things. "I could make us some very tasty treats! Oh Peter it would be so lovely." Her accented voice highlighting his name.
