Welcome to the busy city of Las Sonrisas, where the streets are never empty and the nightlife ignites the very moment the daylight disappears. Life is everywhere, varying greatly from person to person, and a handful of these people happen to share a home. You'll play a roommate, a student, an employee, a successful young individual with stars in their eyes, or a failure fallen to the Sonrisas slums trying to make their way in the big city. Not to worry, though, they're not alone!

Our darling characters share a modest home in the lesser than respectable neighborhoods in Las Sonrisas, striving towards finishing school, making their mark on society, and making their share of rent at the end of every month, and those are the least of their worries with the drama and scandal cities tend to possess and rub off on their citizens. Whether your character succumbs to temptation or fights to keep the peace in their shared household is your decision, and the plot is completely reliant on the small (or huge!) twists and turns life uncovers. Interested? Well, pack your bags and move on into the boarding house, where life will be eagerly waiting.

The City


Las Sonrisas, home to our favorite group of roommates as well as a trendy little bookstore, well-sized college, various transit centers, and the most diverse people anyone would ever think to see in the same place.





The boarding house, located on five fifty-one Maude Boulevard, will pose as homestead to all of our characters. The rent is basic, and the rooms are spacious and plentiful, so there's always a place to go when lost in the city, so long as you can afford to stay.



A few short blocks away from the boarding house is a pleasant little bookstore called "Trident Booksellers & Cafe". Jobs are more than available, and the trendy, comfortable establishment serves as the group's hangout on most occasions. (Note: NOT the only place available for work, just one of the few settings.)


Las Sonrisas University is the local college, where some of our tenants will go weekly to study and train towards their dreams. Essentially, all majors are taught and encouraged, though a tuition fee is added onto monthly rent. If your character's out of a job, flunking or dropping out are distinct possibilities.
