Alexander's Story

Eve huddled in the cardboard box she called "home" that sat under a bridge in the park. It was a nice box nice and long enough to fit her body laying down, Bonnie had to come out in order to get it. She didn't know what Bonnie did to get the box, all she knew was she went to "sleep" and next thing she knew she was sleeping in the box.She watched as people passed her by, not taking a second look the happy couples being well happy. A man came up to her and smiled, "Hey there pretty girl." he said kneeling down to her.

"You have a nickel?" she asked her bright blue eyes looking at his dark brown ones. He was an older man, maybe forty with ageing grey hair, and wearing a grey suite, He had to make some money. "I'll give you fifty if you give me something." he smiled in a way that reminded her of the nurse back at the mental hospital. What he did to her wail she was too medicated to fight back, she shook her head. "No.. thank you..." she whimpered, I'm a good girl she repeated to herself in her head.

The man took her shoulder and smiled, "Come on girly it will be fun..." he said as Eve retreated into the fetal position. Closing her eyes, Eve started to fade and Bonnie came out to play. She lifted her head and smiled, "You want to play?"

The man nodded, "Of course."

Boonie jumped up onto the man beating on his face, "Let fucking play!" she yelled scratching at his eyes. She was Eve's defence mechanism, when she felt threatened Bonnie came out. Sure shadow was there too, and Eve didn't want to come out but Bonnie's influence to protect was still too strong on Eve and having run out of medication... It was getting harder to control.

Alexander grab Eve and hold her "Eve focus this isn't who you are" he said and pulled her off the man then jump on top off him with long sharp claws at the ready "now you are gonna give the girl some money and scram with your puny life" Alexander said in a hiss ready to gut the man at the spot if it was needed, though he hadn't got permission from Eve to kill the man he was ready to do so at the moment she did 'she saved me so i will protect her till the grave and beyond'

"I'm NOT Eve!" She insisted as Alexander pulled her of the man. "We have to protect Eve, from scum like this." She pointed to the poor excuse of a man cowering. Bonnie was rather upset her shadow couldn't tell the difference between her and Eve. Wail Eve would cower or flee from any kind of confrontation, Bonnie charges in to face problems head on. Even at the cost of getting her ass kicked.

The man begged for his life and handed Alexander his wallet, however Bonnie just grunted "can't leave him alive can we?" She smiled. "No witnesses right?" In a nonchalant sort of way.

"Bonnie i promised Eve i would only go out on her judgment" Alexander said and took the wallet and took the money out of it then handed the wallet back and coil around Eve/Bonie "let Eve come back and let her decide" he said not listening to Bonnie at all but only would listen if the situation called for it,the man couldn't run away since Alexander bound him to the ground as he muffeled his sounds as well

"Eve won't be any good!"

Boonie snarled and started at him with her arms crossed, not saying a word starring within moment Eve was back and looked about confused. "What's going on?" she looked at the man and gasped, "Why is he tied up? let him go please." she said stepping back not sure what just happened last she remembered was the man pestering her. "I don't understand anything anymore..." she cried and curled up into a ball, looking at the man and her shadow. "Just take care of him please... i don't know what to do." she whimpered.

Eve looked at him feeling truly embraced, "I'm so sorry" she said to the man and looked to Alexander. "let him go, I don't want trouble." she said and sunk a few steps back. She didn't want any confrontation with others. "We'll go somewhere else I guess... in case he calls the cops."

Alexander let the man go and hop in her box "i guess so yeah, but you had every right to defend yourself" he said and curled up in the box to being a small shadow in the corner "we maybe need to go to one of those centers where homeless people go, i don't mean to offend you but it's at least warm dry and safe there or we could find an abandon building and fix it up so we can live in it" Alexander suggested and look to Eve from the box
