Introduction
"Where are we?"
"A beautiful island"
"It looks like a dungeon."
"It's a dungeon on a beautiful island"
"What do you want from us?"
"That would ruin the surprise."
"When can we go home?"
Never.
I. Background.
What is the most common thing people want? Youth. They want youthful skin, eyesight, hearing, etc. They want to be young. That's all anybody wants anymore. So what if we could have it. What if we could have the smooth flawless skin of a teenager (minus the acne). What if we could hear like them? See like them? What if our exterior never changed once we hit our beautiful time. What if we could challenge time and be young forever. Perhaps it's all possible; the secret lying in the most obvious place of all, the body of a teenager.
II. Location
a. The island
It's an extremely small island, covered entirely with a large house. After the house there are some trees, and then it slopes down into the ocean. The ground is entire rock after the trees, and it's incredibly slippery. Nobody knows where this island is, and nobody will ever find it. It lies somewhere in the Bermuda Triangle, so they rarely get any visitors. Of course, the occassional sailor will discover them, but they never make it back home. That's the beauty of the Bermuda Triangle; nobody suspects a thing.
b. The house.
An extremely large house, entirely white. It's gorgeous and modern, a real sight to see. The insides are made of polished marble flooring and cream colored walls. There is a master bedroom and five small bedrooms. The small bedrooms are entirely white with nothing but cots inside of them, normally two to a room. There is a large industrial kitchen that looks like it belongs inside a five star restraunt. The dining room is filled with elegant antiques and a gorgeous wooden table that could sit sixteen people at once, even though it only ever seats two.
c. The dungeon.
It's very plain with stone walls and stone floors. There are no beds, just enough pillows and blankets for forty people, even though there are only ten. The boys and girls sleep in seperate areas, a heavy metal door keeping them from each other. They are allowed to be together during the day, but they can't be trusted at night. They can't get pregnant now, that's an experiment for another time. There is a bathroom on each side. Each bathroom has white tile flooring and walls, five stalls, and three communal showers.
III. Schedule
6:00 AM: Wake up
6:30 AM: Breakfast
7:00AM-8:00AM: required exercises
9:00AM-1:00PM: individual testing
1:15PM: lunch
1:30PM-4:30PM: group testing (each gender is a group)
5:00PM: Dinner
6:00PM: Injury treatment
7:00PM-9:00PM: Free time (how generous)
9:00PM: Drugged sleep
IV. Hostage Expectations
1. Do as you are told
2. Follow the schedule
3. Keep yourself clean
4. Absolutely no sexual intercourse
5. Do not fight each other or us
6. Do not attempt to cut, burn, kill, or harm yourself in any way
7. You are required to eat everything put in front of you
8. Do not attempt to escape
9. Tell us if you are sick; don't try to die
10. Do not complain about any of the tests or your exercises
V. Punishments/Rewards
a. Punishment
If you break any of the above expectations, there will not be any warning. The punishments will go as follows:
1st offense: No blankets at bed time
2nd offense: No pillows or blankets at bed time
3rd offense: Extra exercises
4th offense: No food for a day
5th offense and any other offenses: Solitary confinement in house bedrooms for however long is needed. (cots will be taken out)
b. Rewards
If we see fit, there is the ocassion that you might be rewarded. There are only three rewards: a room in the house with a cot and comfortable blankets, a day off of testing, or a day off of exercise. These are very rare and we will expect you to work for these, as they are very hard to accomplish.
VI. Things to understand
You are not the first subjects in these experiments. There have been others before you. Many others. They all died. That's right; all of them. Fifteen before you died. We do not know if you will be different. In fact, the odds of you iminent death are very high. However, there is a chance that you will survive. If you survive, you return home. We will alter your memories, but in the end you will be home. How can you survive? Follow our rules and go along with it and hope for the best.
