Since the moment she was born, Helena's mother had always taught her how to be a proper lady, to be patient, kind, and a good wife to her husband. It was no surprise that Helena outright failed at her mother's teachings. From birth, she was always a feisty and witty child, constantly getting herself into loads of trouble. She had no desire to be any of the things that constituted to being a lady, and for Helena the idea of what a woman should act like is tiring and ridiculous at times even. Why should she mind her tongue and just look pretty if something offends her? Don't get her wrong, Hel is such a kind, supportive and bright young woman who is always pleasant unless you give her a reason not to be. However, she does have her opinions and if pushed she will push back but that's just it, she will do what she must to protect herself because she won't let others step all over her. Growing up, underestimation was the very thing that held her back, so insulting the very essence of her knight hood could earn you a punch in the face. You can say she's the feistiest in the castle.

Curious and brave as they come, Helena is never afraid to walk first into battle. She is constantly feeling like she has to prove herself somehow, and with that comes blind bravery. She acts with her heart and not her head most of the time so she's always susceptible to getting herself in over her head. When it comes to the others she's easy to strike up a conversation with and doesn't shy away from being rather blunt with people. Her brash nature has alway led her to be more of a friend to the men than the woman, which she doesn't mind to say the least.

A disregard for the rules and penchant for trouble makes Helena a very reckless young lady. She has a very carefree nature about herself that is some what worth admiring. However, having a passionate streak like hers often leads to having a short temper as well. It doesn't help that she's all to impulsive with her decisions, and runs blindly into battle. She has a quick temper with just about anyone that gets on her nerves and she's not afraid to tell someone about it.
