Wind Mage
If someone where to claim they saw Layla get blown away by the wind, it would be an occurrence you’d have to consider as a possibility. Five foot seven inches of slim, peach skin, the teen is almost bird like. A body of smooth slopes, with angular bones and thin limbs. Uncovered, one could count the joints of her spine, or the number of her ribs. Lightweight and almost phantomlike with the way she ghosts her presence, it seems gravity is hardly holding the girl to earth.
Her hair, stark white and soft as birds’ feathers, hangs into her face and around her frame like a veil. It serves to make her skin look paler then ever, leading to her always flushed cheeks and pink rose-bud lips to stand out. Her face itself, heart shaped with high cheekbones, is observed second to her gleaming eyes. The color of moonlight, a milky yellow, an interesting color for anyone to boast. Layla’s eyes are usually narrowed, and her whole face seems to sit in an expression of uninterested observance.

Even underneath layers of loose fitting shirts and knitted sweaters, Layla’s thin wrists seem to protrude, and her collarbones often stick out. She still prefers these baggy clothes, or loose long dresses. Shorts are of no matter to her, and she often shows off her incredibly slim, creamy legs. When in a battle situation is the only time the teen will opt for tighter clothes. Not exactly skintight but not flowing enough to get in the way of her movement, or get caught up in any of her own wind magic.

{Personality}
Layla lives in a world that is stable, concrete, and kind. She’s truly kind hearted and wants to believe the best in people. Because of her consideration and desire for others to be their best, she can often bring out the best in people. She value’s harmony and cooperation and opposes violence unless it is necessary. If it is necessary, Layla will do what it takes to accomplish her task, for she has a strong sense of responsibility and duty. She can definitely be counted on to follow through once a task has been assigned to her, or she has started on something. However, because she dislikes conflict, she has a very hard time saying ‘no’ to any request and can severely overburden herself. She tends to value other peoples needs and feelings over her own.
That being said, Layla is extremely aware of her own feelings as well as other people’s. She often doesn’t express her own feelings to people, and lets her emotions out through music instead. Just as she doesn’t let out her own feelings, she usually doesn’t share that she knows an others feelings either. However, she will speak up and share her knowledge if she thinks the other person needs help. She’s constantly taking in information about people and situations and storing it. It wouldn’t be strange for Layla to remember a particular facial expression or conversation years later in precise detail.
Layla also requires positive feedback from others. In the face of criticism or no positive feedback, she can get extremely discouraged and upset, though she probably wont let anyone on about it.
She has a very clear idea about the way things should be. She values the law and tradition, and believes that the current systems are there for a reason. She has a strong sense of justice according to the law, and isn’t likely to buy into a new way of doing things unless showed a why its better then the established method. She learns best by being shown practical application. Once she understand she will faithfully carry through the task asked of her.
Over all, Layla is warm, generous and dependable. She longs to help other people and holds sensitivity to others, while still having a strong ability to keep things running smoothly in accordance to law or instruction.
She also has an insatiable longing for movement and is always fidgeting. Dodging gracefully and airily is her main form of defense.
Two medium sized steel tessens (Japanese war fans), modeled specially for durability and lethality. Matched with wind magic, Layla can create razor like bursts of air with a swish of the fan. They can also be used to block, and have proven to be water and fire resistant.
