Bjorn is a very sarcastic person as well, sometimes it's difficult to tell when she is being honest or when she is just teasing. With that being said, she rarely ever calls someone by their actual names, usually coming up with some quick witted nickname that she tends to call that person on a regular basis. So if she ever actually calls someone by their name it is probably a serious matter. Bjorn is also a huge flirt, being a vampire that is naturally seductive doesn't help. But she does enjoy flirting with any attractive male she finds, enjoying the hunt and chase of getting a man, but unfortunately usually becomes bored rather quickly once catching a man. It would take one heck of a man to tame her, he'd have to keep her on her toes and always guessing. It is also easy to tell when she likes a man more than just passive flirtation with a simple goal. She tends to be more distant and almost rude, playing hard to get unintentionally. She has always feared someone getting to close to her, so someone would have to be particularly persistent to move past these walls.

When Bjorn reached the age of 16, the Erikkson's through one of the biggest feast the Northerns had ever seen in attempts to betroth their only daughter to a good and noble family. But wanting nothing to do with the idea or concept of marriage and being a noble woman, she petitioned all there to allow her to compete for the right to not have to wed. Everyone was very reluctant to this idea, but Leif backed up his sister and agreed that if she could surpass her suitors in a fair competition, then she deserved the right to do with her life what she chose and not be bound to the laws of marriage. The competition ended up spanning a week, some of the more athletic of the suitors were almost determined to beat her to just put a woman in her place, and claim her as a prize. Bjorn was holding her own throughout the challenges, tied for first with Radclif from the Leukke clan when they reached the final challenge which was a spar between the 2. The fight lasted over 5 hours, Bjorn took the defensive and just dodged every blow that Radclif tried to lay on her which eventually wore him down and then she was able to beat him with ease.
Bjorn's mother was not pleased about her daughter now winning her freedom and still for years tried to convince her to settle down, marry and start a family of her own. But neither Leif or Bjorn were the type to take the simple life, they urned for adventure, battle and the unexpected. When Bjorn was 22 and her brother was 25 they decided, to their parent's disapproval, to take a small fleet of ships and try to travel the world. They spent over 2 years aboard the ships, only making port when goods were needed before setting sail once again. One day their ship was caught in a hurricane that nearly capsized the boat, and sent them in a completely different direction than they had intended. When they reached land that had quickly realized they had discovered a new land, nowadays known as North America. In aw of their discover, Leif and Bjorn decide to stay in this new land they discovered, and attempt to create new lands for their people.
For 3 years they lived in piece on the Eastern coast of the continent, making small villages and their numbers slowly growing as the small fleet of people made this land their new home. Although Bjorn loved the new land, she still was restless and couldn't settle down like many of her companions. She still hungered for adventure, so late at night she would explore other parts of the land while Leif was asleep. Due to the lack of knowledge they had about this place, her brother did not like her venturing off on her own because some of them had been disappearing but she could not sit around idly like the others. One day she was traveling through the woods trying to find those that were missing and saw a light in the far off distance. Slowly moving towards it, she realized it was a fire with... people around it. She didn't know there were others anywhere near them, and she wondered if they were the missing members of her group or the reason they are missing. It didn't take long for her to realize it was the latter when the people that huddle around the fire were then at her within a split second, teeth piercing her everywhere as they drank her dry.
Bjorn was surprised when she woke up, still alive... in a manner of speaking. She had assumed they would just drink her dry, but one of them changed her into whatever they were. But by the time she had awoken they were all gone. Attempting to make her way back to the camp, Bjorn was taken by surprise at her lust to feed from those in the village, even her brother. Terrified she'd hurt someone she cared about, Bjorn disappeared off into the mountains, feeding from animals for decades, alone. It wasn't until a new group of people came to this land that Bjorn came out of hiding and attempted to mesh in with the new comers, fighting her blood lust as much as she could. But whenever she ended up killing someone, she would be gone by dawn, trying to live in another town.
Migrating for many many years, Bjorn never got too attached to anyone she met because it was only a matter of time before rumors spread about her condition and she would have to leave once again. It wasn't until the 21st century the she began to have encounters with more and more of her kind. She never realized how many of them there actually were due her continuous migration and isolation. Although she kept moving from city to city, she began to hear more rumors about covens of her kind living in different areas of the world. That was when she heard about a coven in Rosewood, North Carolina. Bjorn took the opportunity to seek out the coven. Once getting to Rosewood and seeing how small of a town it was, and that a majority of it's population was made up of her kind, she decided to stay, taking a job as a dancer at the Pulse bar.
