Grade : 2
Race: Japanese/Scottish (His mother is Japanese, his father is Scottish)
Sexuality: Pansexual (He does not hold himself to liking based on binary gender, male or female, he likes the person based on the person, not gender.
Position in host club: Vice President
Description: He always looks like heās forgetting something. His hair, in disarray, falls around his face and out of the hap-hazard ponytail that he throws it in. He dresses sharply, never a button out of place. His persona, cold and demanding, is matched by his pale face and dark eyes. He seems to have taken after his father much more than he has his mother, but that doesnāt matter. No one believes he is Japanese anyway, and he could care less as this is the first year he has ever been in Japan and knows next to nothing about that half of his culture. His body has scars caused by his motherās abuse, most of them centering where they can be hidden.
Personality: Quiet, guarding, overprotective of his brother, no close friends nor does he want them. He is always seen either playing his cello or reading one of his books, or helping his brother do his homework. There is little that Dere expresses to people. His words are short, curt and to the point.

Quirks:
Heās gentle towards his brother and those that are weaker than him, but heās prone to violent outbreaks and completely defensive when heās challenged. Heās not one that is about to calm down and listen to reason. He wants nothing more than to be left alone. Though heās the āYandereā stereotype, heās not the one with the mental disability and his violence comes from the life that he leads at home. His mind is broken and it will take the right person to fix that.
Crush: Haha, youāre joking?
History: He grew up for most of his life in Scotland, living with his father and his younger brother. Their life was happy, though Dere always wondered about his mother. He would ask his father and his father would just look sad and turn away. Eventually, Dere stopped asking. Dereās father died when Dere turned fifteen and his motherās family showed up, claimed both boys as part of their family and brought them back to Japan. Both boys met their mother and from there, Dereās life went to hell.
His name was changed from his Scottish name, to a Japanese name, and when he joined the school and got wrangled into the host club, was his name finally settled on. Not that he answers to it. Not really. He has learned quickly that his mother is psychotic and there are times when she is loving and gentle (mostly towards his younger brother) but she has her moments of pure rage when she goes on a rampage and Dere often stands between her and his brother, protecting him. He loves his brother dearly and would do anything for him. Because of his motherās abuse, his culture shock about being in Japan, missing his home and his friendsā¦ heās often violent towards people that seem to be getting aggressive towards his brother.
