Full Name:Chang Tartarus Wilson

Age: 24

Gender: Male

Nicknames/Codenames: Chang, Mask, Wolf

Occupation: Conman

Role: Demon Child

Basic Description: WIP

Image
Abilities:
"What are you talking about? Powers? Abilities? I don't have any of that?"

Major Abilities:
Z Shifting: Chang has the ability to shift into another person... literally. He can mimic their appearance, their voices, their actions and to some certain extends...even their personalities. However, his power has a fatal weakness. Once he has shifted into someone else, he will, somewhat, become the exact person he disguised as and thus, if he uses this for too long (a month or more), he can lose his true self and become the person he mimics. After he has transformed back, his personality will still suffer a little bit...he often calls these sufferings the feedback. Basically, he will get a small piece of personality from the one he has mimicked earlier and these problems often lasts for a week or longer, depends on what kinds of persons he changed into, how long he changed into them and how strong their wills are. Because of the dangers his ability gives him, Chang always prefers to use his charm to get what he wants rather than turning into a new person.

    Z Prey Instinct: [WIP]

Minor Abilities:
Z Memory Manipulation: This is Chang's weakest power even though it has the most potential. Basically, Chang can control as well as modify, fabricate, suppress, influence, repair, restore, erase, detect, and view mental memories. He can change memories to confuse, wipe away certain memories to cause amnesia, discern and provoke nostalgia, and enter the victim into a psychic vision replaying the memory. He may even effect his own memories selectively forgetting as he sees fit though he never tries it. To use it, he will need the victim to stay still for at least 2 minutes while his fingers touch their forehead. The limitations of his power are: It needs focus and causes a great deal of stress on his mind if he tries to use complicated applications, he can get overwhelm by others' memories, often confuses others' memory with his and of course, if he isn't careful, the chance that he might lose his memory is high and there are only two words to say about it EXTREMELY DRAINING.

Z Adjustment: His body can adjust to the change of environment in a rate faster than most humans can. For example, if someone is suddenly thrown into the dark, their eyes will probably take about 1 to 2 minutes for them to see properly but this is not the case for Chang. He only needs about 5 seconds to adjust with the change. His ability hasn't been woken up yet but it will be soon. When it's woken up, he can adjust pretty much every environment, from the harsh weather of the dessert to the cool air of the ocean. It is very effective since he usually never stays in one place long and moves from this place to another in matters of days.

    Z Shadow form: [WIP]

Natural Talents:
Z Swordsmanship: Since his special abilities are not mainly used for self-protection, Chang solely relies on his physical skill to protect himself from any kinds of harm the environment can bring. He has been practicing his swordsmanship for about 5 years now and he can confidently say that he can take down most opponents by himself...but of course, lying is one of his skills so his real skill isn't revealed for now.

Z Charming/acting skill: Chang is a very charming boy and he's extremely good at acting. He can pretend to tell the others that he loves them and secretly stabs them in the back while he's hugging them. He likes putting up his 'kind yet charming boy' mask on so everyone will underestimate him...of course, it absolutely "doesn't" have anything to do with the fact that he has practicing this skill for years.

Z Lying skill: Combining with his acting skill, Chang is a 'fascinating' liar as he can lie without blinking 'an eye' and his body language betrays nothing of his true feeling or his guilt. He has made a habit of lying, too and therefore, even if it isn't really necessary to do so, Chang will still lie just for the sake of lying.

Personality:
If he uses his power to change form into another person, about a week or more after he has changed back, his personality will changed in order to fit the person he has taken the form of. His personality has a large variety in this time...ranging from hot-head, dark, cold, sadistic, malicious to calm, gentle, shy, serious, playful...etc In other words, he can have almost every kind of personality in this state due to his power. It is best not to anger him in this state since his actions cannot be predicted properly. However, there're one characteristic in his personality that cannot be changed no matter what forms he takes. It is his obsession. His obsession with wanting all the money in the world. He wants to be the richest person or in this case, half-demon on the world an he isn't afraid to take actions in order to archive his goal. He has a love-hate relationship with his masks, his facades. He loves them because they help him to hide his real self from the rest of the world but he hates them because they make him lose his true self.

Then...what is the real Chang? What lies beneath those masks? Those cheerful, dark, gentle, cold, hot-headed, calm, loving, sadistic... facades? Well, there isn't much beneath them. Without the masks, Chang is just a broken creature, a victim of the dark side of the world, the victim of cruelty and mistreats. He is the child that has been forced to grow up too soon, he is the boy that has been forced to witness the other side of the world at the age of 5, and he is the child whose only wish is to love and be loved by someone else. Broken beyond repair, Chang is nothing but a mere shell without soul. Maybe his masks help him more than he thought. Maybe they help him sparkle a light inside that body.

Calm, cold and focused...those words fit Chang best when he is not in one of his 'multiple personalities disorder'. He speaks when he needs to and offers his opinion in necessary situations...nothing more, nothing less. He prefers to stay in a corner, listening to others and see the problems in different points of view...which is quite easy to do since his personality is constantly changing anyway. He almost never does assassination missions and his main job is to collect information by various means. But whenever he's on an actual assassination mission, he tends to be merciless and sadistic. He doesn't try to form any real relationship between others, claiming that it will make him weak. However, he tends to have a soft spot for little children because they remind him of him when he was young. Of course, he will never say that out loud...he has a reputation to keep after all.

To the ones he needs to take advantage of, he's a charming prince sort of guys. Always keeping a gentle, bright or kind smile on his lips, Chang offers these people what seems like excellent advises and slowly takes what he wants without making his victims become aware of this. That is also the kind of mask he uses in front of a crowd in order to make them worship him...though he doesn't like the attention at all...so, if he can help it, he will never try to make people focus on him...he isn't an attention-seeker anyways.

In conclusion, there are 3 different personalities of Chang that people often see the most. His 'big bad Chang': The dark part of him, formed when he turns into all sorts of villains. This part is sadistic, malicious and merciless. He often use this to imitate his enemies. His 'cute, innocent and harmless Chang': The light part of him, created when he takes forms of the innocent, normal people. This personality is shy, gentle, kind and charming, is often used to deal with people that he needs to take advantage of, a large crowd or making his enemies underestimate him. And he calls the last part the 'real Chang': his real personality: calm, cold and focuses. He uses this part to deal with the rest of the situations. When he has to deal with his employers or the other villains, when he's alone or when he's plotting to take advantage of someone. Of course, beside three main personalities, his personality will constantly shift from one form to another one...

The sky was turning crimson by the time the children would have arrived at the warehouse that had been chosen as the meeting place between them and the Warriors of the Divine Light's current Leader, Arthur. The sky had started to open, a light drizzle of liquid tinted golden by the last rays of the setting sun. The Warehouse was located in a fairly isolated part of the countryside, so that nobody would get too suspicious if a few cars rolled up the driveway and a few relatively varied people entered the building. The Warehouse was surrounded by nothing but beautiful fields of long, green grass on the left side, reaching as far as the eye could see into the distance, where pillars of smoke could be seen beyond a mountain range. The right side of the warehouse's surroundings belonged to the sea, a purely vertical drop straight down onto the sharp, jagged rocks below, constantly showered and sprayed by the foam and strength of the cold, merciless blue below. The rest of the scene was fairly bland, and that was just as well, since the place that your attention would be brought to was the warehouse itself.

Passersby wouldn't even bother to turn their heads to look at the dull, unattended building, instead focusing on not crashing their car or sliding off of the road and slipping off of the cliffside, toppling to a water grave, and most likely an early one. The lights inside the warehouse flickered to life as a group of people, some older than others, slipped into the warehouse silently, closing the door just as the storm started raging like someone who had just died for the billionth time. The interior of the warehouse was almost exactly the same as the outside. Dull, worn, and practically nonexistant, aside from a few seats and a couch, all positioned in a way that man sitting in the comfiest looking chair in the room could easily keep tabs on all of his audience, whom were arriving through the door and being seated at that very moment. A suited man slipped over to the man in the chair, and whispered something into his ear, to which the man nodded once, clicking his fingers. Suddenly, several lamps in the room were lit, and the lights dimmed. None could see his face, but those that had met him before would know him from his one working eye.

When his audience had been seated, the man clapped his hands, and a young lady appeared from behind him, appearing out of nowhere but shadows and nothingness, her red eyes sparked as she looked over the four faces before her, and her expression saddened visibly, as if someone she was looking for wasn't there. She eyed the newcomers with a small smirk on her face, despite her apparent dispair, if you could call it such. Something about her seemed off, maybe it was the way she was constantly fidgeting, or maybe it was the fangs that protruded clearly from her mouth, and the scarlet eyes that seemed to have no emotion in them, no pity, no love or hatred, only... nothingness.

"You four have been summoned here because of one reason, and one reason alone. You all possess one thing in common, although none of you have met before, you may think that those round you are slightly familiar or that you are somehow connected. Indeed, this is the truth, you all are connected, all of you have the blood of the Devil running through your veins. You are all born of Human Mothers and Human Fathers, or maybe both, having gained your blood further on in the past, but it remains the same. You are all half Demon, and you are a danger to Humanity".

With that statement made, several of the men in the room fidgeted uncertainly, and the tension thickened. It could even be cut with a metaphorical knife, if you wished to. Moreso, you could cut it if you could somehow hold a metaphorical knife, which is described to be intensely sharp and difficult to handle. The man in the seat clicked his fingers, whilst the girl beside him laughed seemingly uncontrollably. A few men stepped forward, pulling guns from their coat pockets and aiming them at the people seated. The man in the chair looked around the room, his eye searching for one person in particular.

The doors behind them opened, and a boy stepped into the room, playing a Game on his iPod, apparently undisturbed by the horrendously powerful storm that he had just entered into the safety of the warehouse from. His guide staggered in behind him, apologising repeatedly about how the boy had been hard to track down, and how he'd been a bit hard to handle. It almost seemed that the man was a bold-faced liar, but the boy's grin told otherwise.

The girl eyed him as a hawk would eye their prey, but something changed, and her scarily crazy demenour disappeared, her smile changing into one of satisfaction, and she tapped the man in the chair on the shoulder and nodded. The man glared at the boy, but only the most skilled people-readers would even notice it, as he was practically glaring permanently. The man stood, spreading his arms wide dramatically, as lightening flashed in the background, illuminating the scene briefly, he laughed slightly, then continued his speech.

"But I shall give you all a choice, you may come work for the international organisation, called the WDL, or the 'Warriors of the Divine Light', or you may die here, and be of no threat to humankind at all, and you shall be sent straight to Purgatory, where your soul shall rot for all eternity for the sins you have no doubt committed in your years. I am Arthur, current Leader of the WDL and the Leader of the Paladins, the WDL's elite Demon Hunting Squad. In short, I am the most powerful Human on this Earth".

He motioned to the girl beside him. "This young lady here is known as 'Illusion', due to her nature and skillset, she is the head of our Demon Program, being one herself. Due to her Demonic heritage, she is not very trusted, but she has served us for a long time, long enough to gain at least a molecule of our trust, therefore she will be watching over all of you as you grow. I will not reveal much about her to you, as it is strictly confidential, and only very few of our own men, even the higher-ups, know anything about her".

The man paused as somebody rushed up to him, whispering urgently. The mans eyes widened, and he held up his hand, the lights blazed brilliantly as someone switched them up to full power, and he was finally revealed. His long, once golden hair hung down to his waist in a braid, and his chin was the site of a fair amount of stubble and hair. His left eye and cheek had a viciously long scratch adorning them, as if someone had cut him with a blade of some sort. His robe was swept aside to reveal Paladin Armor, and he hoisted a Golden Axe above his head, apparently awaiting something. A few minutes of tense silence followed, and everyone within the room could have sworn that the shadows were moving by themselves.

It was a few more seconds before the lights went out and all of the windows smashed att he same time, just before a massive swarm of crows and smaller Demons flooded the place. Sounds of fighting could be heard and the roaring of the minor demons filled the room, echoing off of the walls. Suddenly, several torches were lit, and the swarm receeded slightly, and a figure stood in its midst. The piercing blue eyes penetrated many souls, and the people in that room had almost no defence. It eyed person after person, before settling onto the five children, wherever they were. Cackling could be hear from the swarm of crows and the figure, whose talons stretched almost a metre long, totaling five on one hand, and four on the other. It glared at Arthur, and it then became obvious that the missing talon was the work of the Paladin standing before them. The man simply glared at the Monster, who ceased his cackling, and turned once again to the Children.

"Ah, my Masters Children have mostly all been summoned into one place, easy pickings really. But I am not here to kill you, I am simply here to... recruit you into our Ranks". The Demon grinned maniacally, before opening his wings and allowing a Portal to form. "In naught but a few seconds this place shall be filled to the brim with minor Demons ready to feast on your very souls. Now, those of you that are more.. darkly inclined must come to me quickly, and then we shall meet your Father". The portal glowed crimson red, and pure hatred seemed to seep from it. A loud clamour could be heard outside, and the creature grinned. "Soon...".

Suddenly, a glow eminated from a far corner of the room, with Arthur standing by it and more people rushing inside than even seemed to have been present. Arthru turned, glaring at the Demon. "Quickly! Before the Demons gain entry! We must fight the Devil and rid the world of his tyrrany, so that Humanity may rest in peace!".

In a short time, a large amount of Demons, both major and minor, would both enter the Warehouse, tearing those present to shreds. The boy wearing the hoodie had already made his decision, heading towards Arthur, who muttered something to him, and the Boy nodded, proceeding down into the depths, followed shortly by Illusion, who glanced back at the people behind her, before grinning and entering the tunnel.

Now is the time to make your choice, for good or for evil, for power of for love? Your choice must be made now, or you will die.

Slowly rolling down the dirt road, the low hum of a motorbike could be heard as it made its way across the countryside. The empty field of grass, now well overdue for cutting reminded Ash of an old farm that she’d visited with her family once, and she smiled at the faint memory of the time her sister had been kicked by a cow. Slowly but surely, she continued up the road, though a pair of rapid honks from behind her indicated that the ‘WDL’ wanted her to pick up the pace. The sleek black car with a pair of agents had been following relatively close the whole time, making it quite clear that they didn’t trust her to head toâ€Ļ Wherever it was she was going. It’d been a while since the last time the car in front had turned, and seeing as they were in the countryside, it all looked basically the same – the only reason she’d be able to find her way back to civilisation was because it was practically straight.

Again, the horn sounded behind her, and she mumbled something under her breath, revving the engine a little more as the first few droplets of late afternoon rain began to form. Bringing her hand up to shut the visor of her helmet, the soft scent of salt began to become clearer, and the low rumble from her bike began to give way to the sound of waves against the rocks. Glancing to the side of the road, Ash didn’t realise she’d travelled all the way to the ocean, and part of her marvelled at the sight. Even though the cliff was sheer rock, she could still see the way the foam crashed and sprayed up the jagged wall. Wherever they were going, it certainly had a nice view – especially at this time with the sun dancing off the rain.

As the car in front veered to the side, Ash got her first glance at the structure they were heading to. It was a large, dingy looking warehouse, and part of her was just a little bummed it wasn’t some mansion or something. Gingerly slowing herself down, she pulled her baby to a stop by the wall, kicking the stand and removing the key from the ignition. Slipping her helmet off and shaking her hair free, she tussled it twice with her hand, getting the black strands clear of her shoulders before nestling the helmet into the seat. Somehow, she didn’t think she had to worry about thieves taking it. Glancing across the other cars arriving, she didn’t get much time to view who exactly was attending this thing before she was somewhat roughly nudged in the back. The ‘gentleman’ behind her was clearly the impatient fellow behind the horn earlier, and he had no intention of letting Ash lollygag about. Rolling her eyes in disdain, Ash made her way through the opening in the warehouse doors, taking in the gloomy dÊcor before being shown to a rickety looking metal stool. Normally she would comment on such treatment, but the somewhat sullen, serious nature of the atmosphere made her refrain. Instead, she made do with folded arms and a sceptical expression, looking bemused at the current predicament.

Glancing about the room, it didn’t take her long to acknowledge who the ‘important’ people were. First of all was that kid one seat across from her: He looked young, maybe around her 2nd youngest sister's age? For a moment, she met eyes with him, but he quickly broke it off. Didn't seem like he had much confidence. Turning aside, she looked to the next one on her right, and eyed the coils of rope binding him to his chair. This man was a bit older, closer to her age. She wasn't sure how close exactly, he could've been late 20s for all she knew. Regardless, the fact he was bound worried her somewhat. Was he that dangerous, or just uncooperative? Deciding not to dwell on it, she looked to the last person seated nearby, a tall and pale fellow, that she could only guess was younger then her. Probably needed to get out in the sun more. As she continued to think on the situation, it occured to her that anyone without that MIB wannabe suit was probably in the same boat as her, orâ€Ļ

As the lights suddenly flicked on, revealing the body of who Ash could only assume was the leader, she leant forward in her seat, waiting for the inevitable announcement that was to follow. At the appearance of theâ€Ļ strange womanâ€ĻWell, ‘strange’ was possibly the polite way to put it; Ash was more than a little transfixed by the numerous and somewhatâ€Ļ mystifying features of the girl... Snapped from her daydream by the man’s words, the sudden, sinister change in attitude put Ash on edge, and instinctively, she clenched her fists and stood up as the guns were drawn and pointed their direction. So this was how they were going to deal with things? Drag her off to some isolated warehouse and then cover up spilling her blood? Shit, how could she be so stupid? These people were clearly psychoticâ€Ļ

The sudden slamming of the door, accompanied by the coincidental strike of lightning brought everyone in the room to a pause, swirling to the boy who had made his entrance to the room. With the shaky excuses coming from the agent, Ash begun to wonder if perhaps she should have put up more resistance to this tripâ€Ļ But then remembered the fellow tied to the chair on her right. Still, something about the boy irked her. Perhaps it was his nonchalant attitude arriving late, playing some game and being unfazed at the multitude of arms pointed his direction?

Oh wait. That was what annoyed her.

As the man known as Arthur began to laugh at the situation, rambling on about a ‘choice’ for them, Ash’s annoyance was quickly shifted to a new target. Forget the bad boy, this old guy was definitely on the top of her asshole list. And for those who didn’t know, that was a pretty big list. She couldn’t stand bigshots like that guy, especially one hiding behind all his little agents rather then facing them like a man. For the ‘strongest’ human on Earth, he certainly seemed scared about them. As the man summoned forth some shining armour and mystical axe, Ash was beginning to wonder if perhaps he’d heard her. She didn’t have time to dwell on that before hell broke lose. Screaming as she ducked down, shielding herself from the splintering glass all around; the whirlwind of chaos was almost more than she could handle as she backed up to the wall, crouching down. Not in fear though - Don’t be stupid - She was just protecting herself.

And suddenly she felt cold. Alone. Empty. She froze as she stared into that blue void, a haze of nausea and weakness flooding through her. Justâ€Ļ What was this feeling? That taloned freak seemed to be staring into her soul, picking it apartâ€Ļ Clenching her eyes shut and shaking her head, slowly, she stood to her feet. She wasn’t afraid of this thing and she wasn’t about to go see some demon father. She had a father. She wasn’t going to let him down. Narrowing her eyes, she gave her own piercing stare of defiance at the monster. She’d made her choice. The WDL were no saints, but in her mind, at least they wanted to protect this world.

Better the devil you know.

The soft hum that had accompanied Ash for her trip became heard once more, before filling the air with a deep roar. Screeching through the front door, the black blur bowled over a number of the demons scrabbling about the ground before sliding to a stop in front of Ash. Her personal Ninja and escape ticket had just arrived. She wasn't sure how in the hell her motorbike had gotten in here like that, but she wasn't about to look a gift horse in the mouth. Straddling the seat, she revved the engine twice, looking over her route. Gunning it and filling the air with the smell of burning rubber, she shot off, crushing one of the already crippled demons on her way to the tunnel. Suddenly swerving and slowing, she barely missed the tall boy with the black hair giving the demon the bird, having awkwardly stopped in the middle of the road.

“Out of the way, dumbass!” Ash yelled in irritation over her shoulder, before focusing back in front of her as she travelled on her bike through the black tunnelâ€Ļ

Chang Tartarus Wilson

Chang's life had changed in the strangest way possible and until this day, he couldn't determine if this was a bad change or not. It had been a typical day for him, wandering around the New York's dark part and trying to find easy prey when it happened. One minute he was talking on the phone with his boss - a beautiful woman in her late thirties and the next minute, he was being pinned down on the road by two oversize men with no where else to run or hide. He hadn't gone down without a fight. He had taken out his pocket knife and proceeded to stab both of them. He had managed to escape. The next events were very blurry in Chang's memory as all he remembered was the chase between him and a group of strange women and men, all aiming with weapons. Finally, he was defeated and forced into an uneasy sleep filled with nightmares and men with weapons. He was tied up and now, he was being leaded into a warehouse that looked like it hadn't been used for years by those people. Chang sighed. He had experienced the ups and downs in his life, normally the downs were always being overweight by the ups but now, it seemed he had undergone too many downs and for once, Chang wondered when he would have those precious ups that he desired so much.

Being shoved into a chair by a man, Chang turned back and glared at him hatefully, a part of his mind was working furiously on how to torture him the worst way he could think of. So far, he had only thought of dismembering, stabbing, using electricity, cutting him into pieces and taking out all of his organs and forcing him to eat them. A hit in the back of his head forced him to focus on his surroundings as he looked around, trying to find a way to get out. The house was dark and slightly cold, something Chang found very uncomfortable. He wasn't afraid of the dark since he was a part of New York's underworld and therefore, working in the dark was something he had to get used to but he never really liked the cold. The lights suddenly lit up, causing the young man to flinch slightly, searching for the one that had done it. The room that had been very quiet from the start had become even quieter and Chang could even hear the noise of the flies if he focused hard enough. There was a man, sitting on the most luxury chair in the room and around him, he could see several other people, a few he could recognize as the ones that had chased him and brought him here. Chang bit his lips, slipping into his cold mask easily, his eyes were devoid of all emotions. Standing next to the man was a woman whose eyes were as empty as his and before Chang could ask, the man in the middle of the room opened his mouth, speaking in a voice that demanded attention.

Chang blinked. Wait, what did he just say? He, a demon? No, not a demon...a half demon. A part of his mind scolded darkly. Like that would make anything better. He was just spitting lies right into his face. He was not a stupid brat and there was no way he would believe something as stupid as that. What would he say next? Was he going to tell them that they all had to become the messiahs and save the world now? What a laugh! He clenched his teeth and waited, his cold mask had never once slipping. He had been forced to go here, might as well listen to what all of them had to lie. The air in the room had darkened immediately after the man spoke and Chang could feel the insane part of him giggled uncontrollably in his mind, this was fun...like those times he had slipped into the yakuza's house. The sound of clicking guns was heard and Chang looked up, almost lazily as a man pointed a gun into his skull, ready to kill him if needed to. Why did he want to kill Chang again? Oh yeah, apparently, Chang was a 'half' demon so he was dangerous. He raised his eyebrow, looking challenging at the man, daring him to shoot. The man's hands were sweating slightly. 'A coward...not really worthy of my time' Chang thought smugly when the door opened with a bang, a boy walked in. He seemed like a young boy with a calm face, too calm in a situation like this. He grinned and the man laughed in a booming voice, making Chang's ears hurt. The lightning struck again, illuminating the house, he caught a glimpse of the man's face with only a working eye.

The man then continued to say as if nothing had happened. 'How amusing...' Chang thought sarcastically. His thoughts were interrupted when the man raised his voice once again "But I shall give you all a choice, you may come work for the international organisation, called the WDL, or the 'Warriors of the Divine Light', or you may die here, and be of no threat to humankind at all, and you shall be sent straight to Purgatory, where your soul shall rot for all eternity for the sins you have no doubt committed in your years. I am Arthur, current Leader of the WDL and the Leader of the Paladins, the WDL's elite Demon Hunting Squad. In short, I am the most powerful Human on this Earth".

Ah, now was the threatening part. He could only choose to serve the WDL or something like that or else he would be doomed in Hell. Anger coursed through Chang's veins. 'So, because they needed our helps...my help, they decided to take me by force...and then spitting out some sorts of nonsense lies, expecting me to believe it? Are they kidding me? Is this man insane?' Chang growled softly, irritated with the whole situation but above all, he felt useless, unable to escape the ropes. What kinds of ropes were this? Why couldn't he escape it using his strength? Chang began to struggle once again, wanting to escape from the rope...or maybe, it was to escape his destiny, Chang didn't know and frankly, he didn't care. He wanted to get out. Now.

The leader of the whole crazy bunch gestured toward the woman who was also crazy enough to follow him and introduced, ignoring Chang's weak attempt to escape.

'She...betrayed her own kind? Is this for real?' Chang thought in disbelief but quickly corrected his mistake 'provide that there're demons, of course'. The lightning struck again with a big thunder followed this time but Chang didn't flinch. He was focusing hard on how to make his decision. What should he choose? These people were obviously crazy and he couldn't afford to let them kill him if he chose the wrong things. The lights went out and everything was silent.

CRACK!

All the windows in the room were smashed and Chang swallowed...what was this feeling? A long forgotten part of him was laughing with excitement like it recognized the silence as a friendly one. Chang's head was starting to hurt, too. What about the shadows? Had they really just...moved? He was so confused he didn't even noticed the crackling in the room until a pair of eyes focused on him. Before Chang could control himself, he had already hummed with the laughter, creating a disturbing noise. But it was like a part of himself was awaken...and it was demanding to be free, which Chang found was very easy to just give in. The young man struggled with his rope again...Still no use. What was he going to do now?

He locked eyes with the demon and Chang found himself petrified. Those eyes...those eyes were the ones he had seen in his dreams...a long time ago. The dreams of sweet nothingness and promises full of destruction and deaths for those who had mistreated him. Chang let out a small scream which turned into a pain groan when he felt himself being smashed by the gun of the man who was still pointing it at him. He growled, louder this time, his voice had taken a deep tune and it wasn't even a human's growl anymore. It was more like a beast's growl. He wanted to be free...He desired to be free. He would do anything for this freedom. He needed his freedom...very badly.

"Ah, my Masters Children have mostly all been summoned into one place, easy pickings really. But I am not here to kill you, I am simply here to... recruit you into our Ranks." The demon's voice brought a shiver to Chang's spine. What was happening to him? He couldn't control his own reaction anymore...It opened its wings and a swirling blood red portal to form, the darkness and hatred from the gate to hell invited Chang to step through it. "In naught but a few seconds this place shall be filled to the brim with minor Demons ready to feast on your very souls. Now, those of you that are more.. darkly inclined must come to me quickly, and then we shall meet your Father. Soon..."

Chang couldn't take it anymore, he had enough of this stupid rope. He was going to make his own destiny. And no shitty 'strongest human on Earth' was going to stop him. If the man wanted him to join them, he would do the exact opposite thing, see how the man took it. "Strongest my ass" Chang muttered and growled at the demon who was grinning from ear to ear "What the hell are you waiting for? Cut these fucking ropes for me so I can get the hell out of here...I'm sicked of these supposed exorcists and their insane ways"

The Demon blinked in surprised before chuckling, a deep dark voice sending another shiver running down Chang's spine but he didn't struggle as the long claws helped him cut those ropes loose. Shaking himself out of the uncomfortable ropes, Chang stood up and walked with the demon to the Portal. Standing next to it, he could practically feel his demonic power growing by the seconds and he was pretty sure his eyes were bright red now. He looked into the shitty leader's eyes and spatted out coldly.

"Well? Where were you when I wanted to end my life? Where were you when I had no where else to go and ready to open my heart to anyone who so much as gave me a smile? Where were you when I was forced to eat food from trash bins? Let me tell you where you were...you were probably sitting in that fucking chair and giving out orders. And now you expect me to come to you with open arms? Are you fucking serious? Don't fuck with me, old man. I'm done with this. I'm done with all of this. I'm making my own destiny now and I dare anyone of you to stop me."

He turned to face the other children, whom were also half-demons just like him. "And you guys listen to me...this man is manipulating you all...I won't mind having new brothers and sisters...please join me...I'm pretty sure I'll always welcome you guys" He looked at the shitty leader and cursed the man with all the hatred he could manage "I hope you'll rot in hell, Mister 'strongest human on Earth'" With those last words, he stepped into the Portal, to a new dark world and his newest home. He had made his own decision and he was the owner of his destiny now. No one, not even Satan himself, could stop him from doing what he wanted.

Nathan Salazar Jackson

Nathan had seen many things in his life. He had seen things that people twice his age hadn't even seen yet and he had seen things that were so strange no one believed they existed. But in his wildest dream, Nathan couldn't believe what he was seeing right now. It started out quite typically with him killing the demons and reporting back to the headquarter. After that, he was surprised or maybe not really that surprised to receive an order to come to the meeting warehouse where he proceeded to meet Arthur - the leader of the WDL. It started out quite nicely with Arthur making threats, introduction, more introduction. He wasn't sure which part he paid attention to and which he did not. All he remembered was somehow, Arthur had managed to collect all the demon's children here to tell them the usual threats - join them or die in hell...yada yada yada. It might be interesting the first few times you heard it but after 10 times, the speech became boring as hell and Nathan felt himself drifted off into his dreamland.

CRACK!

A very disturbing noise woke Nathan up and he looked around sleepily. The house had suddenly become very quiet and Nathan suddenly wondered if he had woken up the wrong time. Slowly, his whole body was filled with dread as he realized the familiar presence in the air. Oh, the demon had come to collect the children. He pushed his glasses up his nose and observed the scene in front of him with calm eyes, waiting for it to happen, waiting for the children to choose their own destiny. The red portal swirled dangerously and one of Nathan's snakes hissed, warned him about the danger of the zone but Nathan just smirked in a knowing way. Slowly, he saw two figures approached the gate and walked through. They were...hmm...let see...He looked into the files and crossed out two names:

Sebastian 'Inferno'

Chang T. Wilson

He waited calmly until all of the children had chosen their own destiny before jumping down from the ceiling, his eyes shone with mildly amusement. "Well...it's time to interfere, I guess...children...help the others" He called out and watched as snakes slithered out of his coat and into the floor, the snakes hissed venomously before biting the demons. He picked up one small green snake and whispered to it urgently "Child, tell him Inferno and Wilson are taken care of...I have sent a snake to the ones that run away and as for those who stay...I will keep an eye on them. Now go, child...make daddy proud" The snake obediently slithered off and Nathan looked at the demon army with a gentle smile. Rolling his sleeves, he grinned and gave a small gesture with two fingers, inviting them to attack him "Come and get me if you dare, gentlemen" He said with a small chuckle.

Loki Belphegor

"You never were one for the old ways, were you brother? And since when did you...care much for the matters in which I work in, that is unless you are after something."

Loki eyed his brother for a whole minute before a grin made its way toward the younger demon's face. He chuckled and shrugged his shoulder like he was trying to shake off some invisible dust "Brother...you know me too well" He ran a hand through his short black hair and smirked deviously. Pausing to give himself more time to think, Loki finally admitted "You are correct, Brenhin...I'm here for something..." Sending quick glances at the crystal ball in his brother's hand, Loki waved his hands in a dismissive gesture and quickly reassured Brenhin as he sensed some of the demon king's servants and guards seemed to be on edge "And no...I'm not after your precious prize...I'm here for something else" He turned his head and took a few steps away from Brenhin. "I know that you are doing something that our Father...our Lord won't approve...trying to take the prize all by yourself is not a good action for a big brother, you know..." He stopped walking away and turned around, coming closer to the Fire Demon. His grin widened a little bit more and he dropped his voice into a low whisper "Fortunately, I have something I want as well...so I will keep your actions quiet for now...after all, I can't let our Father knows that I approve of such actions, correct?" He chuckled and tapped his chin, appeared to be very thoughtful.

"Brother...have you heard the name...hmm...Deon Morris? I believe he's one of Father's children..." He asked and raised an eyebrow, looking at Brenhin mockingly. Taking out his pocket knife, he began to cut his long nails and yawned. "Hmm...normally, I won't say this to you, Brenhin...but since you have taken an interesting in one of the children...I may as well come out and say it..." He paused to let the sentence sink in before Loki leaned in dangerously closed to Brenhin, whispered in the demon king's ear with a tone that sent normal people to cower in fear "I want you to stay out of my prize...He's mine. I will deal with him personally. If I found out that you dipped your nails into my prize or harmed a hair on his head, you would find Father become suddenly interested in some of your more...hmm...secretive activities, brother..." He grinned and leaned back.

Looking satisfied with his threat, Loki smiled charmingly at Brenhin, appeared to be a rather innocent looking boy than a demon king. "But of course...there's no way I would do that to one of my dear siblings...or would I?" His eyes quickly lost their evil glint and he gave Brenhin one of his famous 'cute smiles'. Chuckling, Loki finally said "And in conclusion, I won't touch what are yours...if you don't touch what are mine..." He knitted his fingers together and grinned once again "So, dear brother...do we have a deal?" He said nonchalantly as he stepped on a small flame on the ground, effectively put it out "...you don't have to answer today, Brenhin...You can tell me your answer the next meeting...I'm waiting for a positive answer"

"Tell the council that I will be present at the allotted time, and I wish for no more disturbances until then."

Brenhin said angrily, obviously wanted Loki to leave his territory. The younger demon just smiled in a knowing way and nodded his head "Farewell, Brenhin...I hope you have a nice day with you prize" He walked out of the room and stopped as he stood in front of a boy with black hair and dark blue eyes. Studying the poor one, Loki laughed out loud "Brother...is this your prize? What the hell did you do to him? He is as stiff as a wooden board" The demon king patted the head of the boy, whom he assumed was Sebastian and chuckled "Relax, little brother...we won't eat you or do anything to you...yet. Just relax and you'll be fine."

As he continued to walk past Sebastian, Loki blinked in surprised as he encountered another person. He was tall and had long black hair that was tied into a pony tail, a scar adored his nose, his face was bloody with ten raw claws, still bleeding profusely. 'So, this is the other one...Chang, isn't it?' As the boy - Chang looked at him in the eyes with a look of mixed angry, confused, and awe, Loki felt the tip of his lips curled upward. He nodded in approval. "Hey, Brenhin! Since you don't need the other one...I'll take him, too, huh? Have fun, Brenhin. I'm leaving" Loki yelled at Brenhin and put a hand around the new boy's shoulder.

"So, little brother...What's your name again? Chang, isn't it? Let's go to my place, okay? I will show you a lot of fun things we can do together, Chang-chan" And with that, Loki leaded Chang out of Brenhin's castle to come to his own.

Chang Tartarus Wilson

Black. It was pitch black.

The moment Chang stepped into the Portal, he had panicked. His senses had been shut down and he could not hear, see, smell or even touch something. He waved his hands frantically, trying to calm his racing heart to no avail. He didn't know where he was, what he was doing, who he was. He lost sense of time and space. Black. Dark. Black. Dark. It was too dark, too black, too much for him to endure and the next second, Chang had collapsed and hold his head, trying to prevent a scream from escaping. He held onto the fragile piece of his sanity, what left of his mortality and his past. He didn't know he was screaming and tearing his face and drawing blood until he felt the liquid trickled down his skin. His voice was all scratchy but Chang didn't care. All he wanted was to feel something, to know that he was still alive, to believe that he still had his senses. He didn't know he had started crying until the silver liquid dropped into his opened palms.

What was he?

Who was he?

What was his purpose in life?

He didn't know how long he had walked until he spotted a small, flickering light. Like the light at the end of the tunnel. Chang had run, he had run as fast as he could to the light that would save him. The moment he had come closer to the little light he had stopped abruptly in shock. It was no light at the end of the tunnel. It was not a way out. The light in front of him came from a small white flame, hovering above his head like it was mocking him, laughing at him. Chang had reached out and touched it, felt the warmth, felt the relief, felt the emotions. He was not dead. He had a purpose. He was somebody. The young man felt his back arched and he let out an agony scream as pain exploded inside him. Whatever the flame was, it was hurting him. He had tried to shake it off but it didn't come out. Finally, after seconds, minutes, hours, days, months or even years, Chang didn't know...he had lost tracked of time, he felt the pain lessened and he could stand up straight.

He felt a surge of power running through his body and at that moment, Chang truly believed he could do anything. He continued to walk until he saw it. His way out. The end of his journey. Chang walked out of the Portal calmly like nothing had happened at all. He had believed it was all over...how wrong he was. The moment he stepped his foot on Hell's ground, he was attacked by hundreds of sounds, scents and feelings. He felt the hot flames licked his skin, he felt the smoke caressed his face, he heard pained moans, he heard tortured screams, and he could smell the rotten flesh, the burn human meat. Chang did the first natural thing he could think of. Vomiting.

As he finished emptying his stomach's content, Chang looked around. He was not alone. 'Funny. Come to think about it, I didn't even see him when I walked into the Portal.' Chang thought warily as he looked at one of the half-demons standing next to him. He looked quite young, perhaps he was still a teenager. His hair was black and he had a pair of dark blue eyes. He seemed...nervous for some reasons and Chang felt himself getting confused. What had happened when he was out of it? He didn't remember much about the details in the Portal, he only remembered he did not want to go through the same thing the second time again. Chang studied his surrounding. He was standing in a huge castle with flames everywhere and dead bodies scattered here and there. The young man wrinkled his nose in disgust. Was this...Hell? It was certainly more disgusting than he had thought.

His eyes traveled once again until they stopped at an enormous figure sitting on the throne. It was huge. Enormous. Giant. Terrifying. Chang could practically feel the heat rolling from the demon's body as it seemed to be having a conversation with someone else. The young man continued to stare, trying to see past the smokey background and see who the demon was talking to. Suddenly, his wish was granted as he could see much, much clearer and Chang realized with a jolt that the demon was talking to a tiny...human? The human had short, black hair and was wearing a...was that a fur coat? He seemed rather relaxed for someone who was talking to a big demon like that. Chang could hear bits and pieces of the conversation as the human stepped on something on the ground.

"...you don't have to answer today, Brenhin...You can tell me your answer the next meeting...I'm waiting for a positive answer"

'Brenhin? Meeting? Council? Positive answer? What the hell is that?' Chang thought in confusion as the human, or at least, the one he thought was human walked to the other one and began taunting the boy. "Brother...is this your prize? What the hell did you do to him? He is as stiff as a wooden board" To Chang's surprise, the human man began patting the other boy's head and did he just call the demon his...brother? What was going on here? Before Chang had the chance to ask, he heard the man continued to talk in the cheerful voice Chang disliked very much "Relax, little brother...we won't eat you or do anything to you...yet. Just relax and you'll be fine." Chang, once again, felt himself being surprised by the man. He didn't think he would be surprised again because so many things had happened today but he had been proved wrong. 'I'm pretty sure that guy just admitted he's a demon, too...what the fuck? He doesn't even look like that big ass demon over there. He looks like me and I'm pretty sure I'm a human...well, half-human but whatever'

Chang didn't even notice the man until he felt a hand warped around his shoulder and he flinched instinctively. He gave the man a panicked look and pushed him out. The demon-that-looked-like-human just laughed and said to him "So, little brother...What's your name again? Chang, isn't it? Let's go to my place, okay? I will show you a lot of fun things we can do together, Chang-chan" Chang could only nod numbly and let himself being leaded out of the castle by an over-enthusiastic demon(?). As he was being leaded far enough, Chang stopped abruptly and pushed the man's arm out of his shoulder.

"Okay, enough is enough. I'm not letting someone I don't even know lead me to who-knows-where. Spill it. Who the hell are you? No, wait a minute...I have to ask correctly. What the hell are you?" The man looked at him in surprise before laughing out loud, his voice sent chills down Chang's spine and he involuntarily took a step backward away from the obviously insane man. The man seemed to realize Chang's discomfort and quickly ended his laughter. Wiping a tear from his eyes, the man gave him an apologetic look.

"Sorry, little brother...it's just...it has been a while since someone talks to me that way and it's a refreshing change. I'm sorry for not introducing myself sooner. I'm Loki Belphegor, the Prince of Darkness and your older brother. Nice to meet you, Chang-chan"

Chang blinked as he looked at his...older brother before his eyes narrowed and a suspicious look crossed his face. He had seen this stuffs a lot of time before in the time he was still in New York and he wouldn't buy it now. He wasn't a fool after all and there was no way he would believe a guy appearing out of no where and claimed that he was Chang's older brother. "I don't believe you, Loki or whatever the hell you are. You look completely like a human...like me. There's no way you can be a...what did you call yourself again? Ah yeah, Prince of Darkness. Back off, I'm not believing in that bullshit. Give me some proofs, oh-mighty-older-brother" He said mockingly. He knew he was pushing his boundaries but he didn't care. Chang just wanted some evidence that he was not crazy and this was all true.

"As you wish, Chang-chan..." Loki replied cheerfully and before Chang could fully prepare himself, Loki had changed his appearance into...another kind of creature. This time, it was clearly a demon. With two sharp horns, a tail and pointed ears, Loki looked down at a stunned Chang and smirked "So? Whatdaya think, Chang-chan? Is it good enough?" Chang nodded again, still felt overwhelm by everything and Loki patted his head, grinning widely "Don't worry, Chang-chan...you'll get used to it soon enough if you live with me"

Chang's head snapped back as he heard Loki said and he repeated "Live...with you? Are you kidding me? I have to live with you?" Loki gave Chang a look and changed back into his human form "Uhm, yeah, of course you have to live with me...unless you want to sleep in the wild and eat rotten flesh...God knows I won't stop you if you want to do so, Chang-chan" Chang shook his head, feeling a little ill at the fact that he had to eat flesh if he had to live alone and then felt a little annoyed at the suffix Loki kept calling him "And what's with the Chang Chang thing? My name's Chang Tartarus Wilson, you know...not Chang Chang or anything" Loki eyed him, looking horrified at the fact that Chang didn't know the meaning of his suffix "You never hear of the -chan, -kun, -san, -chin, -tan, -sama...stuffs? Where have you been? Have you been living under a rock or what? Come, brother...I have a lot to educate you...and first of all, I have to open your eyes to the world of...Anime and Manga. I can't believe you don't know any of that and still live. It's a crime"

Chang looked uncomfortable for a moment before he asked uncertainly "Am I...in trouble?" Loki laughed and patted Chang's head. For a human this age and a conman to boost, Chang sure was innocent "You? In trouble? Hardly, otouto...but I will make sure you won't lack any of those precious knowledge again. Don't worry, Aniki will take care of you, Chang-chan" Chang pushed Loki away and scolded angrily "Don't touch me...brother. And what about my power or something? I'm not powerless, am I?" Loki chuckled but stopped patting Chang's head "Hoh? You still haven't figured out your power yet? Tch...let's come to my place quickly...I will lock you in my castle until I deem you have enough knowledge about this world...I can't believe you're even more innocent than Deon-chan when he first got a real glimpse of the real world."

Chang felt himself being pulled quite harshly and he pressed his eyes shut as he felt hot winds blew into his face. When he opened his eyes, he saw himself standing in front of another castle, this time it must be Loki's place. It was a large castle but very nice. It wasn't hot like the other one but there were many kinds of flowers and trees growing around. There were strange vines that Chang had never seen in his life. As he wandered and prepared to touch a colorful flower, Loki warned "Hey, don't touch anything, Chang-chan...you don't want to have a strange case of sickness on your first day here" Chang flinched as his hand stopped mere inches from the flower and he took back his hand carefully "Err...Loki...brother, how does this place work?" Loki looked at Chang thoughtfully and sat on a bench, inviting Chang to sit with him.

Chang looked warily at his brother but sat down nonetheless, trying to sit as far away from Loki as possible "Ah well, let's see...there's our Lord...our Father...the one that leads all the Demons in this Hell. After that, well...there're his advisers, his council as he often calls it...A bunch of senile old demons in my opinion" Loki snorted and Chang felt himself listened carefully to his brother's words "Well, after the council...there're a bunch of Demon Kings...like me or Brenhin, ya know...the one you just saw...yeah, we lead different territories and mind our own businesses. And then there're a bunch of lackeys that follow us. There're also the outcasts, demons that don't follow anyone...they don't often live long to tell their tales but the ones that manage to survive long enough are pretty decent, too...There are demons that have been kicked out of Hell because of their bad deeds or something like that. And of course, there're you guys - half demons. If you manage to climb on the Rank, you'll be respect and stuffs...but if you don't, you will be a disgrace to our demons. Personally, I don't care that much but yeah, that's about it, I think" He gave Chang a look "Do you have any more questions?"

Chang nodded and opened his mouth "What about the powers you're talking about?" Loki nodded, feeling pleased that Chang was learning fast "Well, powers are more complicated than that...there're three types of power...one, you were born with them. Two, the powers you have practiced hard enough and so you have them and three, the powers you have obtained from other demons. The first type of powers...."

:: Sebastian was way out of his league here, he felt as if his entire world was collapsing and he couldn't do anything to stop it. Watching the two demons bicker with each other was something that made him feel his heart start to beat within his head, although he couldn't physically feel it happening. What was happening to him? Was hell having some sort of unusual effect on him? He couldn't tell, he had to keep his cool, so he wouldn't get eaten. At this, he felt a hand drop down on his head as he looked over to see Loki, his brows raising as he walked away and went with the other 'child' as they were called. Sebastian may have been the youngest, he thought to himself at least he was, but that didn't mean he was the weakest. Nor was he going to allow himself to be, but this place was no where near where he wanted to go. All he wanted to do was get to know that woman more, he shuddered as he collapsed on to his knees, finally realizing the truth. He knew why he had been sent down here, looking down at his tattoo's, he realized that maybe this was to grant him power to help her. Maybe, in some sick twisted way, hell was actually being allowed to destroy those accursed corrupted holy men who believed they were following god. Was the only way to stop them to join forces with the devil himself? Was he doomed to never see her again, but be like a guardian angel from the sidelines? He refused to become a shadow in the sidelines, he refused to be ignored. He would meet her again, and he would get to know her name, just as she would get to know his. And he would get her to giggle, just once, he would.

The eye watched Loki carefully as he walked over towards Sebastian, watching then as he walked away with Chang. Then it looked over towards Brenhin, seeming to almost hold back a chuckle that was coming up. "Well, looks like your brother's been quite busy, hasn't he?" It asked him, floating above Sebastian's head now as it continued to watch Brenhin. "In a response towards your earlier question, or rather harsh statement about me, I believe I cannot even if I could. For you see, the head master himself, that being devil, has ordered me to be the boy's guide from here on out. I am to always be with him in hell and on earth, so it looks like I'm stuck here. Oh, do you not like that Brenhin?" It taunted him a bit, seeming to chuckle with delight a bit as it floated up a little more so Brenhin would stop having to look down always at it. "Or would you rather I personally call the master himself to your place and we have the meeting here, oh I don't think you would like him to discover what you've been doing, or have him get on your nerves because of one mistake you made, right?" With that, it chuckled and lowered down to the boy's shoulder. "Now then, seeing as how we are running out of time and the boy needs to get use to your, well, rather 'sudden' appearance, I will talk for him. Right, Sebastian?"

He looked over towards the eye again, feeling his chest rise and fall as he kept on his knees now, only just figuring out what was going on now. He gave a short little nod towards the eye, looking back towards the demon king known as Brenhin. Then he suddenly rose up on to his feet as the eye widened a bit at this, watching him as Sebastian regained his breath. "...Lord Brenhin, is it? I would like to know more about hell and my father before I go to meet him. I would also like to know more about what I am... And what it means." He dared not stare into the demon king's eyes, for even glancing at them made his legs shiver, but he stood his ground all the same, trying to look as bold as he could get. He didn't want to appear weak before this demon any more, but at the same time, he also didn't want to insult him, for he knew nothing about a demon king's standards, rules, and things like that. He thought back to the organization simply known as the WDL, and he thought about how they were corrupted and needed to be stopped. If joining with these demons and the devil was the only way to do, so be it. The woman appeared in his mind again, looking at him briefly before walking away, and the chains that suddenly began to wrap around her unnoticed, the collar being slammed around her neck as a dark gate slowly closed before him with three keylocks. That's when he knew he would save her, somehow he would get her out of that hell and let her be free again. He didn't bother to glance over at the eye as he heard it chuckle a bit, probably at what he had just thought, but it didn't matter to him. Even if it was just some stupid crush, even if he was the one who had to be crushed for the price of freedom, the reward would be worth it.

In a matter of seconds, a memory passed by, although it felt like a lifetime ago. He was now alone at the orphanage at the age of ten, a young looking boy now having grown since his mother's death, and how he loathed the fact she would never see him like this. The orphanage had allowed him to stand outside with an empty old cup, as today his clothes were a little dirty from standing out there so long, it had already been two hours and yet he had only gotten three cents. Running over towards a person, he stopped and walked along them as he rattled the cup a bit while looking innocently up at them. But as he tied this, he felt a hand press against his face and push him aside, his back hitting a wall as he felt himself slide down in to a sitting position. He shook his head as he got up and looked at the cup, only to find it empty again, and in a panic he looked around for the three cents, but they were already gone. His hard work had been wasted now, and feeling so pathetic about it, he walked back to the orphanage with a still empty cup. And that's when one of the people saw him and ran out, kneeling down in front of him as he felt his shoulders grabbed. "My child, what are you doing out here still?! You look so dirty, so tired, and so hungry! Why do you do this to yourself?" She asked the young Sebastian, as he looked down at the cup in response and held it out for her. "I'm helping raise money for her operation." He told the woman, her eyes widening as a sad look came across her face, her grip tightening a bit on his shoulders.

"You don't need to raise the money, we only need three more dollars. She'll be fine, we'll pay the three dollars and she'll have the operation tomorrow, and she will be fine." She tried to tell him, but Sebastian felt this was too important. "But you don't need to waste your money, I can get the three dollars. I want to help, please, let me help her." The girl they spoke about was a young orphan girl, two years younger then Sebastian, who had caught a fatal disease, and only this operation could save her life. Sebastian had met her before, the most recent being when he found her in that bed, coughing occasionally into the air, her arms unable to move. He had spoken with her, and how he was finally happy to have another child as a friend, his first real friend in so long. The woman smiled sadly at him, oh how it made him want to cry now. "You have already helped her so much, all you can do now is come inside and wait. You need a bath, and what would she think if she found you all dirty like this?" He smiled at her lightly as she took the cup and lightly took his hand, taking him along inside. Of course, she had the operation and in three months she recovered, all during this time her and Sebastian grew closer together, having so much fun. Then two months later, she was adopted. But they made a promise, that she would visit three times a year, and she almost did. Sometimes, she wasn't able to make it during some visits. Sometimes, it had to be moved to a later date. He remembered the last visit he got from her, only six months ago. Did the WDL intend to kill her off to get to him, did some horrible menace intend to kill her, or eat her? He would not allow it, even if it meant death, somewhere in his heart he knew that by saving the woman and destroying the WDL, he would also be saving a life long friend.

Chang Tartarus Wilson~Loki Belphegor

"Look at me, look at me! I did it, didn't I?"

A child, barely older than 6 was jumping up and down excitedly, his long blond hair swaying back and forth as he continued to bounce in his excitement. Sitting on a black throne in the middle of the room, Loki gave the child a smirk and an approving nod, causing him to smile even more brightly. It had been three days since Loki and Chang discovered Chang's powers and they were in the middle of practicing his main power - shifting. Since Chang needed a target to practice, Loki had ordered some low rank demons to collect a wandering human soul so that the half-demon could turn into and the result was standing in front of him - a near-perfect copy. Unfortunately for Chang, a near-perfect copy wasn't enough for Loki. The Demon King stood up from his throne and walked to the young half-demon, his hands in his pocket as he looked like he didn't have a care in the world. "Hmm...your hair is still a little darker than the original version...and you are a little taller as well though I applaud you for the effort. Want a lollipop?" Loki asked casually as he patted the little boy's head and held a black lollipop for him to take it. Tiny fingers reached up hesitantly and wrapped around the candy stick before taking it from him gently like he was afraid he would hurt the candy stick. He sent Loki a confused look again but the demon king just grinned and waited patiently for him to take it. As soon as Chang sucked the candy, his eyes lit up "This is so delicious! What is this candy?" Loki chuckled but didn't reply, watching with attention as the younger boy continued to suck the candy. His lips curled upward but there was no mirth in his eyes, only cold calculation. Would his experiment success? 'This is it. This is the time I check the result...' Loki's eyes filled with unholy greed as he told the boy in front of him "Chang-chan...change back into yourself" The little boy looked at him in confusion but nodded nonetheless. Minutes later, Chang was standing in front of the Demon King in his real form, his mouth was still sucking the candy.

"Want another lollipop, Chang-chan?" Loki asked, his grin widened even more when he received a nod. Finally, Chang couldn't take it anymore and asked, his voice laced with annoyance "What's so funny?" Loki didn't reply and walked to the throne, throwing his legs on the armrest, the demon king made himself comfortable before answering in a know-it-all voice "I know the side effect of your power, Chang-chan" He played with his fingernails, ignored the half-demon as Chang fumed. "What side effects? What are you talking about? I demand to know about it." Loki's eyes flashed dangerously for a second, letting Chang knew that he wouldn't tolerate any signs of disrespect. Chang may have gotten off the hook the first day he came here because Chang basically knew nothing about Hell but after a few days, it bound to anger the demon king if his arrogant behaviors continued. Apparently, Chang was not stupid, either. He took a step back, his body was tensed as if he had been slapped, his eyes refused to meet Loki's as he muttered under his breaths a short 'sorry'. Loki nodded though his eyes lingered on the younger boy for a few more seconds before he answered "Well...you see, Chang...when I studied your power earlier, I noticed your personality changed everytime you...for the lack of better words, shift. And now-" Loki was rudely interrupted by Chang as he said on a chair nearby, his legs swung back and forth like an impatient child "Now what?" Loki frowned, clearly disliked the way the younger boy interrupted him "I'm about to say that before you interrupted me so...politely, Chang" Chang pouted and looked at his feet guiltily before whispering "I'm sorry. I'm just impatient, you know" Loki snorted and continued in his lecture voice "And now, I notice that your personality changes in your true form, too...like just now, for example. You changed into a small child with short temper and a love for lollipops and in your adult form, you still have his short temper and your love for lollipops hasn't changed." Loki explained, oblivious to Chang's growing horror.

Throwing the piece of half-eaten candy away with a gasp, Chang flinched slightly when he felt regret. Loki was right after all. A week ago, the idea of eating a candy would make him laugh but right now, he felt sad because he had thrown the candy away. He hadn't noticed it at first, thinking small changes in his eating habit and personality was normal for someone who just had such big things in life but now, when Loki carelessly pointed it out like that, it's...With a sinking feeling, Chang realized Loki was right. He was changing. He was becoming someone else, or more correctly, some pieces from other people were becoming a part of him. He had known...but he had refused to acknowledge that fact. He had begun to hear voices in his head after the first day he trained. Naturally, Chang had dismissed it, thinking he must have trained too hard. The half-demon paled dramatically...He could hear a childish voice in his head right now, wanting another lollipop. Chang wanted to throw up. Was that it? Was he going to be killed by his own power, disappeared like that because thousands pieces of souls ate him inside out? He didn't want to die...He had struggled to live too long to die now. Chang choked and tried to hold back a sob. Gosh! He felt powerless beyond reasons and he hated this boy's personality, too. It made him feel weak. And his brother Loki was mad at him, too. He felt so useless.

Strong arms patted his back and Chang suddenly felt himself clung to the only sort of human contact he could find in the large room. Loki's body was colder than Chang had expected and the half-demon found himself shivered unconsciously. Loki patted Chang's back, mimicked perfectly the actions of a worried brother. Chang sobbed into the black coat and didn't look up. However, if he had done that, he would have only found calculated eyes of a demon and not the eyes of a concerned brother; and maybe, he would have realized Loki was not who he claimed to be. Loki, meanwhile, could practically feel the colts running in his head, calculating the next moves carefully. If he could gain the half-demon's trust now, it would be very useful in the future. The half-demon was the perfect spy, the perfect person to infiltrate in the enemy's force and if Loki made his move right, he could be one of the important keys to help Loki archive his goal. Smiling cruelly, Loki faked his voice as he soothed the crying young man "Shhh...don't cry, Aniki is here...I won't let you disappear, okay? Don't cry..." He felt Chang's hold on his shirt tightened but the half-demon nodded nonetheless. Loki's smirk darkened. 'Perfect...just the way I have planned' He gave the maids a small gesture and the D-rank demons moved quickly to find him a clean handkerchief. Loki handed it to Chang who took it gratefully and wiped his red, puffy eyes.

"Thank you, brother" Chang said shyly and returned the handkerchief. Loki gave him a strained smile and dissolved the handkerchief with a snap of his fingers, not wanting to hold the piece of cloth longer than necessary. Pushing Chang off his lap, Loki said cheerfully "Okay. Since the problem has been taken care of...let's continue to practice. Ya want to become a professional, ain't ya?" Chang looked at Loki and replied hesitantly "B-but I don't want to practice shifting anymore" Loki frowned momentarily, causing Chang to edge away from him in fear but the smile returned as soon as it disappeared, leaving Chang wondered if he had imagined things for a moment. "Okay! It's not like shifting is your only power, right, Chang-chan?" Chang nodded and stood up. He stumbled a little but Loki caught him in time, the demon held his arm steadily, earning another blush from him. Chang suddenly remembered the event 4 days ago that leaded him to where he was standing, practicing his powers.

Flashback

"Okay, Chang-chan...it's time we discover what your powers are. We can't let you go blindly around like that, right? What sort of brother will I be if I let my cute brother go around like a harmless human like you're currently doing?" Loki said cheerfully and clapped his hands together. Chang just scolded and crossed his arms, looking impatient. He wasn't sure if he could trust this demon king. All he had seen and known about Loki was that he had two forms. That's all. How could he know that Loki was what he really claimed to be? 'You don't really have any other means to find out...let's just go with the flow right now...at least, we're having a place to eat and sleep. That's good enough, correct?' A small voice whispered in the back of Chang's mind and he felt himself agreeing with the little voice. He hadn't had an easy childhood and sometimes, food and shelter were luxury things for him. "Alright...what do I have to do?"

"Well..." Loki began, his voice sounded thoughtful as he tapped his cheek softly, as if trying to think of some grant plans. "...we will have to test each possibility and see which powers you have." He held out a stack of paper and grinned widely "And we will begin with this. Demons with high rank or half-demons always have the ability to summon. So, it will be the easiest thing to test first. Just wipe your blood on a paper and wait until your summon or summons appear. You will learn how to chant later. Do you have any questions?" Chang pursed his lips and nodded "Yes, I have one. If any high rank demons and half-demons can summon, why bother testing if you know I'll be able to summon demon anyway?" Loki chuckled and nodded his head "Good question...why do I want to test you on this while I know you can summon things on your own...well, the answer is..." Loki emphasized the last word and put the stack of paper on the table before continued in a calm voice "...not everyone can summon high ranks demons. There's a handful of demons and half-demons I know that can summon C or B rank demons and maybe one or two people can summon me or Brenhin. To my knowledge, the only demon that can summon all the demon kings without breaking a sweat is the Devil...your father, Chang-chan. So, what's the point in being able to summon a demon if the demon you summon can't even fight? Do you understand my point?" Chang nodded thoughtfully and picked up a piece of paper "Okay, I get it...Now, I just need to let my blood in the paper and wait, right?" Loki nodded but said nothing as Chang took out a pocket knife and cut his index finger, letting the blood dripped on the paper.

A few seconds passed and nothing happened. Chang began to feel uncomfortable, what if he failed? It would be a shame. Slowly, white smoke seeped from the paper and covered the room until the half-demon heard a small pop. Loki waved his hand, instantly dismissed the smoke and looked at the table, where Chang's summon was supposed to sit and did the only logical thing he could think of.

Loki sweatdropped.

On the table was a fish...a very, very small fish. Granted, it was a demon fish but it was a fish nonetheless, probably a E-rank demon or even worse - a newborn demon. Chang looked at the fish which was beginning to shrivel from the lack of water and asked uncertainly "Err...does that mean I can't summon?" Loki facepalmed and answered, still amazed that his brother somehow had managed to summon the weakest demons in the entire Hell "No, of course not...it can still fight. You can still make your enemies laugh to death with this summon, genius" He replied sarcastically. "Or maybe they will even surrender to you out of pity" Chang laughed nervously and said after a minute "Uhm...shall we continue with the other tests?" Loki returned to his cheerful self and grinned "Of course, of course...how forgetful of me...let's continue...now, this is the next test...you see this small blue flame? All you need to do is..."

3 hours later

"Gah! Shit!" Chang yelled as the hell hounds he was supposed to use mind-control on broke free and proceeded to torn his clothes to shreds much to Loki's amusement. "Enough, boys...leave the nice boy alone..." Loki laughed out loud as he petted his hounds, completely ignored Chang's evil glare. Over the past three hours, Loki and Chang had undergone hundreds of different tests which Chang failed every single one of them. The flames which Chang was meant to control explode right into his face, the water he had to turn into ice remained stubbornly the same, the pictures that Chang had tried to turn into real living creatures laughed at him and mocked him for his attempt, the banshee who was Chang's teacher teaching him how to shriek had her attempt backfired and was now nursing a very bad case of headache, the plants Chang tried for 20 minutes to grow bigger turned to dust the moment his fingers brushed against them...and worse, Loki was laughing at him every fucking time he failed and was now beginning to think he had the power to destroy what he wasn't supposed to destroy.

Wiping a tear from his latest joke, Loki asked his secretary, a demon butler who had long black hair and was wearing a suit "Arashi-kun, how many tests do we need to do now?" The demon ran a hand through his silky hair and said emotionlessly "Sir, we have completed 349 tests and the number of tests remains is 12 784 tests, sir...of course, in addition to that, we still have-" Loki interrupted the demon and said pleasantly "Shh...I know. Let's not waste our time, huh? Chang-chan, let's continue" Chang, finally reached his limit, yelled angrily "No fucking way, don't fuck with me, there's no way in Hell I will continue with these fucking tests. Do we have any other ways to complete this without going through these stupid tests?" Loki said cheerfully "Well, let's see...there's a way but-"

"I will do it" Chang cut off Loki and answered without a second thought. He was tired of all these stupid tests. "Okay, Arashi-kun...help me take it out of there..." Loki nodded and gave a gesture to his butler, who went into his storage and took out a yellow, old and very long parchment. Loki explained, the mirth was still lingering in his voice, making Chang's blood boil "Three drops of blood will do, Chang-chan...now, chop chop...we don't have time" The half-demon glared at Loki and cut his index finger again, squeezing the blood out of it and let three drops of blood fell on the blank parchment. Loki said on his throne, looking at the parchment with great interest and slowly, the parchment darkened until there was white lines appeared on it, Loki smirked victoriously and held out the parchment for Chang to see "Your powers, Chang-chan...read it" Loki said and offered Chang the piece of black paper.

With shaky fingers, Chang began to read, his expression unreadable.

"What does this mean?" Chang asked in confusion as he read the first few special lines on top of the parchment, ignored the normal lines. Loki raised an eyebrow and took the parchment from Chang's hand, studied it carefully. He ripped out the part where the normal lines written and tossed it into the fire, watching it burnt. Suddenly, Loki laughed out loud, his laughter was cruel and startled Chang into taking a few step away from the unstable demon king. "Sorry, Chang-chan...it's just so...funny. I have never thought you would have these kinds of abilities...please forgive me" He chuckled and at Chang's questioned look, began to explain things to him. Loki cleared his voice and began to lecture.

"...as you can see...there are a lot of powers in the parchment, however, there're only a few lines that are more special than the others, correct?" Chang nodded and took a seat beside Loki, ready to hear the rest of the explanation "Well...you have 5 special lines...that means you have five powers...and let's see..the ones that are written using bold and underline are your major powers...that you can access all the time, the ones that are written using bold only are your minor powers. Those you have to practice hard to have..." Loki stopped to take a sip of his tea which appeared out of no where and continued after a short pause "Now, I will explain each powers for you to understand. The first power is...shifting. This is a dangerous power and one of the rarest ones in Hell. Basically, you can turn into somebody else. You can mimic their appearance, their voices, their actions and to some certain extends...even their personalities. However, you can't gain their memories...If I remember correctly, it requires contact for at least 5 minutes to work or something. I will check it again in the library later. Now, onto the second ability...the prey instinct. It sounds a little cowardly but believe me, it's very useful. You will know when someone chases you and can find the easiest and safest place to hide faster than even some demon kings. With enough practice, you can even hide from me or Brenhin...as for your father, I really don't know. It's a passive power, meaning that it doesn't have a switch. When you're chased, the power will automatically kick in, whether you like it or not. Like a prey, you have to hide so you won't be killed, you understand me?"

"I see...so, these're my major powers..." Chang mused and pointed at the other three lines "What about these? Can you explain them to me, too?" Loki corrected sternly but then smirked and nodded "It's...would you mind and yes, I will continue to explain them to you, Chang-chan...now, as for your minor power, let's see...the first one...Memory Manipulation. It's the ability to manipulate someone's memory. You can control as well as modify, fabricate, suppress, influence, repair, restore, erase, detect, and view mental memories. And of course, in addition to that, you can also change memories to confuse, wipe away certain memories to cause amnesia, discern and provoke nostalgia, and enter the victim into a psychic vision replaying the memory. Theoretically, you can even change your own memory...it's draining so don't try it unless you don't have any options left and use it when you're in full power only." Chang nodded quickly and looked at Loki, waiting for him to continue "Right, the next one...Adjustment. You know how human bodies or demon bodies need certain time to adjust to a new environment, right? Like if you go into the dark, you will need a few minutes so that your eyes can get used to the darkness? Yeah, that...well, in your case, you don't need a few minutes. You only need a few seconds. Your body adjust with a faster rate and more efficiently than other ones, humans and demons alike. I guess it's a gift, alongside with your shifting. Since your body needs to shift, it will automatically adjust with the changes and therefore, it leads to this." Loki sipped his tea and rested his vocal voice, waiting for it to work properly again while studying Chang.

Chang looked... overwhelm with the information he had just received, almost ready to pass out from shock. Loki guessed it was understandable, giving that Chang was still part human and this was bound to shock humans, half-demons or not. He raised an eyebrow and asked "You're ready for the next part?" Chang nodded quickly and returned his attention to the demon king "Good. Now, your last power....shadow form. no wonder you can't control the shadow...you can't control it because it's not a part of you, you're a part of it. You can turn your body into shadow, blend in with everything perfectly...you live in the shadow...I have heard some people have practiced this ability and become crazy. The shadow is so vast and ever-changing. Therefore, they can't understand it and they have gone crazy without a proper guidance. Lucky for you, the King of Shadow is sitting in front of you right now...I will help you with it...with a cost, of course" Chang looked more at ease, probably because he realized the familiar territory. He had been a conman for years after all, he had gotten used to these kinds of deals.

"What's the cost?" Chang asked, straight to the point. Loki chuckled and wiggled his finger "Maa, maa...so impatient...let me explain it to you and see if you can understand what I mean" Loki pointed at the parchment and let out another chuckle "You see, your powers...are perfect. Let's imagine someone with the ability to turn into someone...literally...and then, he can hide effectively every time someone spots him...in addition to that, he can erase his presence in others' memories, and he can adjust to almost any kinds of environment...plus, he can hide in the shadow...what do I have in mind for that kind of persons?" Realization slowly appeared on Chang's face, he looked shocked and a little hurt as well. He stuttered "N-no way, y-you want me t-to..." Loki nodded, impressed with the younger man's intelligence "Yes, otouto, that's exactly what I want from you...can you do it?" Chang swallowed thickly as he thought very carefully about what he was going to do next. On one hand, this was the perfect opportunity for him to learn from a powerful demon king of Hell but on the other hand, the risk of him getting killed because of this demon king was high as well, too high...should he agree? Or should he disagree?

Finally, after a whole half an hour, Chang took a deep breath and answered Loki, who was still sitting patiently waiting for Chang. The half-demon muttered softly "I must be crazy...really crazy to agree to this" He looked up and answered, his voice shook slightly at the weight of his decision "Fine, train me, Loki...I will do as you wish" Loki's smile, if possible, widened even further. Chang looked at Loki and hesitantly, he spoke once again "I have one last question I want to ask you, Loki" Loki looked at Chang and raised an eyebrow "You're not regretting your decision, right?" Chang shook his head and took a deep breath "N-no...what I meant to ask was...Well, if you can use the parchment thingy hours earlier, why don't you use it?" Loki laughed out loud and answered "You're so funny sometimes, Chang-chan...of course I won't use the parchment so early. I wanted to see you failed, it was so funny. I personally like the moment when my favorite banshee yelled in your face and told you that you was 'the worst singer...EVER' or maybe the moment when you tried to teleport and ended up slamming your face against the wall or maybe-" Chang glared at Loki and growled angrily "I. will. kill. you. Loki. Slowly. Painfully." Loki just continued to laugh and mocked "That's the spirit, otouto. You sound like our Father already..."

Flashback ends

Which leaded him to where he was standing, or hiding to be more exact, hiding from Loki's mad chase. The demon king wasn't kidding when he said he would train Chang until the half-demon died and had to be brought back to life. Well, Chang wasn't sure about the die part but the fact that Chang was half-death right now proved the fact that Loki was a very strict teacher and wouldn't take 'no' for an answer. Every day, Chang would have to wake up at the crack of dawn, do exercises because Loki refused to teach a weakling, then eat something that Chang believed was demon's flesh. He then would wait for a demon servant to bring him someone from the human world and transform into that person, no matter how old, young, ugly, beautiful, bratty, spoiled, crazy, shy, kind, blood-thirsty...etc that person was and have to do anything to make him as similar to that person as possible. Then, he would listen to Loki's criticism and have a fifteen minute break. He then have to hide from Loki as the demon king unleashed his hounds to chase Chang around and the hounds were allowed to hurt Chang if they caught him while Chang wasn't allowed to hurt them back. The chase lasted for the whole afternoon. In the evening, Chang was too exhausted to care what he ate, human flesh or not and then he had the luxury to take a shower. After that, the half-demon had to listen to lectures after lectures about the demon world from a teacher - the banshee who had the misfortune of teaching him how to shriek earlier. She was somehow convinced that a newborn demon had more talents than him and had taken to scold him at his tiniest mistakes. He was taught about politics, etiquette, sense of fashion, demon ranks and a whole lot of other things. Loki had sat with him the first day he 'went to school' but after that, the demon king had left everything to the banshee, whose name was 'Cinderella', how ironic was it?

The banshee would shriek in his ears every time he answered wrong and at the end of the day, Chang was taken to the nurse wing, and then was practically eye-raped by the demon nurse while he, yes, he bandaged Chang. Chang then walked to his bedroom, and slept the moment his head touched the pillow. Then, morning came and the circle began...again. It had been 4 days and Chang was ready to explode. The half-demon growled angrily, accidentally alerted the hounds of where he was hiding. Chang only had the time to run away as sharp teeth barked at him threateningly. While he was running, Chang half-yelled, half-sobbed "Fucking shit! I hate my fucking life! I will have my revenge on you, LOKIIIIIIIII" He could hear Loki's mocking laugh all the way as the hounds chased him around and he could swear he had heard Loki said "Good luck with that, otouto...I'll be here waiting for you"

~ Sebastian's View ~

:: Sebastian could tell he had made something of an impression, but the eye was what worried him. Had it pushed Brenhin too far today? Did it make trouble for him and the eye at the same time? He caught his breath as if he was suddenly tired, looking up at Brenhin as he lowered his head a bit towards him. "I will consider what you have said." He told him, turning around while keeping his head lowered as the eye led him and Sebastian out of there. "Oh, and Brenhin." The eye called out to him with a little mocking tone to it's voice still. "Don't forget to check up on the other child and Loki now, you don't want Loki to use the child to betray you. Then you'll have to kill them both, and that would be such a waste for the great and powerful demon king." With a chuckle it let, setting things into motion as it once again made the fires in front of Sebastian make a path for them.

"Where are we going now?" Sebastian asked after a few moments had passed, the eye now having a tiny black body that resembled that of a starfish, with the eye dead in it's center. "We are going to meet your father, well, if he's in. If not, I shall return to Earth with you and we can catch up on what you need to do." It told him, Sebastian felt the weight of the entire situation rest on his shoulders, the image of the chains crossing his mind for a second, and the eye reacted as if it could feel this. "The WDL is what they are called mainly, and they serve to rid the world of us. But I think there is a bit more to this." The eye spoke to him with caution for the first time, not even around Brenhin had it gone to such lengths. Sebastian was interested now, so the WDL was much more of a threat to the world then Brenhin was? "I believe they aim to control the world, after all, they are being lead by the pope himself. Maybe God abandoned them and they are taking revenge against his actions now. Do not worry though Sebastian, we will have you to destroy the WDL in the end, and in return, you will have that woman you so desire."

Sebastian looked down as he thought back to what he saw earlier, he felt odd as everything passed through his mind. He had barely been in hell for a few hours and suddenly it was on him to save the world? "Can I trust Brenhin?" He asked the eye, as it took some consideration into this before answering him. "Yes, for all his dumb and dull actions, he will make a great ally for you. His brother, on the other hand, you can not trust." It told Sebastian with caution again, suddenly it sounded like having Brenhin on his good side was a good thing to have, maybe it had told Brenhin about his brother so that Brenhin could keep his brother away from him? He shivered, realizing that it may already be too late for the other child who had been sent into hell. "Brenhin has many soldiers under his wing, and the power as well. He may not seem like the best option for an ally, but he is also our only choice, besides your father of course. Even if they do butt heads from time to time..." It mumbled the last part to itself, stopping as a demon came before them.

"The lord is not here right now, you will have to go." It told Sebastian and the eye, slamming the butt of it's spear against the ground before turning around and walking back off into the unknown, somewhere Sebastian could not see. "Oh dear, so we have to go back to Earth now?" The eye mumbled, shaking itself a bit as Sebastian watched it. "Ah well, he will probably want to meet us up there instead of having to come down here to talk. This may get a little tricky, Sebastian, so don't be afraid." It told him, as Sebastian closed his eyes in preparation, but felt nothing happen. When he opened his eyes again, they were outside a town, no one seemed to have noticed Sebastian had appeared out of thin air. "I'm... Alive." Was his first reaction, falling on to his knees and hands as he gasped for air, the insanity hell had left on him was finally starting to catch up. He worried about the other child again at this, could he even come back to Earth without going into a seizure?

The eye appeared again to him, floating over while still in it's starfish like body as he slowly felt his strength returning after what felt like several minutes. He pushed himself off the ground as he groaned a little, shaking his head a bit as he blinked a few times, all the while the eye observed him carefully. "It's a good thing I got you out of there when I did, not many half demons can handle the first time going into hell's depths. You were lucky though, you had me." It told him as it turned around and moved a little forward, Sebastian taking a few steps forward, feeling light-headed but found himself coming back together. "We are close to the WDL, but not too close that we will be spotted out of the norm by the security they have. Come, Sebastian, and I will open the other ability you can use. This time, one that can be used in human form." Sebastian felt a brow raise when it said that, but he found himself moving towards the town, having no where else in the world to go now. So the two began to head towards the town, the next part of Sebastian's journey started here it seemed. ::

~ Michael's View ~

"I am sorry sir, but you are not allowed inside." The WDL guard told him, next to him standing another WDL guard, who kept quiet and merely concentrated on finding any suspicious looking demons around that might be left. "But there was an attack here earlier, was there not? Why was I not noticed?" Michael asked them, out of his entire group, he was the only one the WDL trusted most it seemed. Now, at least. "We could not notify you because were not prepared for this attack, but I assure you, your services will be called once another demon attack has been notified." The WDL said to him, leaving the conversation at that, and Michael was left to walk off towards the van in frustration.

"They did it again!" He exclaimed to the driver sitting next to him, a member of the group who he could always count on when he needed him there. Michael could consider him a best friend even, both were extremely well known by now for slaying demons, although they did not allow themselves to be placed among the exorcists. They were hunters in a sense, serving under god in order to stop Satan's forces and send them back to the depths where they belonged. "Ah don't worry about it man, things happen for a reason." He heard Scott tell him, Michael could feel his rage settling down now, yet he should of at least been notified of the attack. "We're suppose to be heroes Scott, yet people still died back there today! How am I suppose to feel good about myself when people are still dying and making our attempts for justice and peace look in vein?!"

"Now Michael, settle down." Scott told him, keeping his eyes on the road and occasionally glancing to the back view mirror. Once in a while Scott would readjust it, but this did little to help with the situation. Michael's division of the group now was left in charge of handling the other two division's, who no longer had their leaders support and strength, which left Michael more stressed in the end. "We are heroes, but like I said, once in a while something happens that is out of our hands. The people will not blame you for this attack, and I am sure they will be more then thankful you are still there to save them." Scott brought a smile to his face, Michael let out a groan out of his throat in defeat, watching as the town came into view. "So how long before the WDL decides to send me back up to them to make a speech?" Michael asked Scott, who in turn let out a laugh as he stopped the van and parked it.

"Probably not for a few more days, although I would prepare early. You are a celebrity now, so it could be at any time. The year has only just started for them, I'm sure they are waiting for everything to settle before bringing in a big name such as yourself." Michael left out a sigh as he and Scott got out of the van, and began walking towards the town, both wearing clothes that would make them look like they had just come out of college. In reality, this was very true. Despite being part of one of the biggest demon slaying organizations in the world, Michael and Scott still had an education to get, although the demons didn't help any with that. "You think any demons will show up tonight?" Scott asked Michael jokingly, Michael smiling as he looked towards Scott. "If they do, it looks like we get an excuse to get out of studying tonight!"

Both laughed at this, enjoying the time they had before they would once again get separated. They had been best friends since eight years old, grew up as neighbors, but times had quickly changed. One thing Michael knew hadn't changed, they both were still looking for a girlfriend, it was just they had very different approaches on trying to do this now. ::

~ ??? ~

"I don't know why I keep on doing this to myself..." The icy breath of the ice demon known as Chill, formerly the human Rob, came out of his mouth and made the air colder around him. He sat in a very special room in Kallos' base, a room made entirely out of ice. He liked it, he needed it to cool down after the rough battle he had with Sebastian and his two new friends. He had yet to see one of them was Lucy, a former close friend of his. "I don't know why I am recording this, or why I feel the need to... But I feel as if every day I must make progress on how my new life is. This would be the... Ninety-seventh one I have bothered to make. Maybe. Or is it ninety-two now...? I don't know anymore, but this one shall be to recall back to a more simple time. A time when my life was fine, and I knew a person who would change my life forever. I do, by this, mean Sebastian Thomas."

"How I remember the day we first met. How he came in, looking worried and sick, with fear and sadness in his eyes. Back then I was nicer, I was a kinder person then I am now. I quickly introduced him around, I was the first kid he had talked to, and the first kid he had made friends with. It was nice, those two months we enjoyed the little adventures we created together. But then after all the fun and joy we had, there came Lucy. Oh how I miss the way her eyes looked at me with such sweetness in them, how I long to feel the warm touch of her hand on mine again. Oh how I long for someone to bring me warmth again. When Lucy came, she told us on how we should be more weird and look at life from a different point of view. Oh how I wish I had known ahead of time what was in store for us."

"I know that as I continue to speak with a frosty tone, and my breath comes out as if it was in the middle of winter, I recall the beginning of a horrific set of events. One of them being Lucy's accident. One day she suddenly collapsed, she was as sick as a dog and blood continued to escape her mouth. So I told Sebastian we needed to help raise the money for her, and we would stand outside day after day praying someone would give us enough money for the operation she needed. As I continued to went in, Sebastian slept outside. As the operation came closer, our caretakers found it was time to talk him out of it and bring him back inside, dirty and tired as he was. Fortunately, they got enough money for her operation it seemed, though how this happened i am not sure, but she recovered quickly back to health. But this all seemed in vein, for when she grew old enough, she left us, saying she would visit Sebastian time and again. As I feel I am rushing through this log, I feel I must confess something at the end of this, and after this next part, I shall."

"It was a few months ago when it began. Sebastian started acting more selfish, always wanting more then he had. When I tried to talk to him, he told me off, and decided it was time to leave. When I talked to him again, he felt I was trying to push him down, and he ran. I watched him run through the rain, oh how I miss it when I feel something besides water coming from myself now. Everyone thought he was going through a phase, that he would return and it would be fine. I knew otherwise... I knew Sebastian. This was not him. I knew I had to do something, but then... A miracle came before me. The man with the crystal in his forehead came before me one day, and asked me if I wanted to be adopted. I refused at first, claiming I did not need a family, but he insisted. That I could see Lucy again, that we could spend time together, and that Sebastian would return back to normal and we would be friends again. I agreed. After I was adopted, he asked me if I wanted the power to change history itself. I agreed, and he did the unthinkable. He changed me into an ice demon, giving me the name Chill. So there ends the memories, and now, I shall conclude this log with my final statement..."

~ Sebastian's Story ~

"What's wrong with my head...?" He asked himself, as he tried to stand, everything around him looking... off. Things were moving that shouldn't of been, the room was tilting a little, and his body was shaking as if he had spun around in place several times. "Remember my name. Eclipse. I was once a strong proud demon before I had to fight the leaders of The Renegade. As per our deal, I am now a part of their inventory. Although they never said who could wield me, which is the best part, hehehehe... Any way, let's see how your reflexes with my basic form are." Sebastian's eyes widened as he looked over towards Lucifer, and used his fast speed ability to move in front of her, quickly taking a stance with the sword as he felt a powerful force collide into him. "Good... You can at least protect people from weak attacks." The voice told Sebastian, quickly forcing him to block against more attacks. "Good, good." The voice spoke, slowly sliding Sebastian back slowly towards Lucifer. "What are you doing Sebastian?" She asked, as he gritted his teeth at this. "Not a good time!" He spoke out, as the next blow was enough to send him flying backwards into her, making them both stumble around for a bit as a demonic laughter came over them before. "Nice moves, idiot." It spoke as he stood up, grabbing her arms and pulling her up as well. "D-don't mistake this situation. I -- I was just... Playing along with this." She said, as Sebastian rolled his eyes at her words.

"But what about attacking someone?" It spoke, as a demon appeared and quickly charged at him. His eyes widen and he quickly spun around, using the sword in his hand to slice across the demon's torso, making him split into two as both vanished. "Good enough, I guess. You were off by a little bit on the angle, but otherwise... My skills are at least having an effect on you. But now it's time to truly see... What you fear most." The voice said, as Sebastian suddenly recalled back, back to that day years ago...

+ Flashback +

The town Sebastian and his mother use to live in was nice. He was only four years old, barely able to understand anything of what was about to happen. He was walking hand in hand with his mother, who as he looked up to, smiled down at him as he smiled back and looked forward. He loved being close to her like this, holding her hand, feeling safe and sound and knowing everything was going to be alright. Then, a voice called out that would ruin everything. "DEMON ATTACK! DEMON ATTACK!!" Suddenly, everyone was in a panic, running for their lives. His mother suddenly picked up the pace, and he was almost dragged along as he found he had to run faster then he had ever had before. Then, explosions began to erupt all around the town, devastating everything that was caught within them. Buildings fell and crumbled, the ground in each being destroyed and left to rot with the corpses they held in them, demons suddenly appearing in huge amounts of numbers as they destroyed anything that got in their way.

"LET IT BE KNOWN FROM THIS DAY!" A voice boomed out across the town, as five figures now stood on the tallest building, each of them looking down upon the attacks happening. "THAT ARMAGEDDON IS COMING! THE PROPHECY IS COMING TRUE! AND I SHALL BE THE ONE TO LEAD OUR FORCES THROUGH THIS EARTH, WHEN I AM RULER OF HELL!" The figure spoke, among the figures could be seen Kallos. The others were a mystery, one of them wearing advanced armor over his body, another looking pale and wearing a cloak over her body in the way a vampire would, and the last one was completely covered in knight's armor. "FELLOW DEMONS! AS YOUR NEW MASTER AND FUTURE RULER, I COMMAND YOU TO WIPE THIS CITY CLEAN OF ALL HUMAN SCUM! LEAVE NO ONE ALIVE, TAKE NONE PRISONER, DESTROY EVERYTHING MADE BY THEM! REPLACE IT ALL WITH ONLY DEATH!"

+ Present day +

Sebastian felt weak, collapsing down on to his knees as the demon voice remained quiet. "You are a survivor, you have struggled since that day came. No... Even before then." It said, as Sebastian slowly rose up to his feet. "... I see a dangerous future for you, much more dangerous then what the phoenix has to face, though this all depends on how you all proceed through these trials." As he stood up, he felt a hand come down on his shoulder as he looked over at Lucifer. "You fainted there for a few... You look sick." She spoke, as he looked back down at the sword. "You have the potential to wield me, but you are not yet ready it seems. Place me back upon my resting place, and we will meet again in the future. That, I can guarantee." It chuckled as he walked back over to the case and set the sword down within it, Lucifer quickly pulling him back as the case slammed shut. Another chuckle came out, although Sebastian knew this one was not from Eclipse. He knew he was once again being observed by someone, or something... He couldn't see it, as he looked around the room, but he felt it. The eye had returned.

~ Michael's Story ~

"Alright, that will be enough. Lucifer, take him back to his room and show him the new equipment that will be there for him." She looked at Scott as he said this and nodded when he finished, taking Sebastian and quietly walking with him, making sure he didn't over-exert himself. "... I only hope he survives this mission." He said as he walked back to the main room, standing in Michael's place again as he took out a small little tube and inserted it into a spot, watching as the blood in it went into the machine and a map was brought up. "... Alright, let's see if I can remember all of this." He mumbled to himself.

Michael, on the other hand, felt extremely nervous. Rin was... Well, she was... His mind was getting off track, as he grabbed a chair and, rolling his eyes, placed it next to her and sat down next to her. "... I have missed you." He said, looking at her as he got a gentle smile out of it and she patted his back. "Just get on with the details, Michael. We can talk more later." She said, making him smile as he looked down at the table and tried to recall the events of the fight to her. Meanwhile, his mind recalled back to more easier times...

+ Flashback +

His master was training him with Deon, as they both were fighting as hard as they could against the Kasha leader. But in the end, he beat them both and they lay near each other, gasping for breath and struggling to regain control over themselves. "You both have obvious flaws in your strategies. Michael, you rely too much on your strength for guidance. Your mind must be kept clear and it must be allowed to flow through the fight. If you think things over and fight with more then just strength alone, you may be able to turn the tables." He closed his eyes at his master's words, hearing Deon give a little snicker at Michael being lectured. "And you, Deon." The Kasha leader turned to him, as Deon immediately fell silent. "You tried so hard to look like a fool at first. In fact, you are a fool now that I see it. But when you knew I was overpowering you, you tried to touch me, tried to get a grip on me that would allow you to turn the tables on me. Am I right?" He spoke, Deon remaining in silence at how observant the Kasha had been. "Try and remember that you need your own power before trying to take others." Michael opened his eyes at this, to hear Deon groan out in annoyance. "I know, I know... But practice will be good for the both of you. I see something in you both that I have not seen in a very long time... Perhaps once you both have matured more, you can show me what I need to learn from the new age that is coming."

Michael then recalled back to when the three were just new leaders and had control over The Rengade. All three were needed for a special assignment, the first mission that would give them all trouble. They all stopped as they saw a demon walking forward, slicing his way through paralyzed enemies, demon or human. "What is he doing...?" Michael asked, as Rin looked over at Michael. "I -- I don't know what's up with that thing... I -- I feel something coming over me, as if I --" She was interrupted at this by Deon. "Maybe you two should go and make out somewhere? I can handle this bozo~" He said, and Michael lightly punched him in the shoulder. "It's not like that, you idiot." He spoke, as Deon rubbed his shoulder. "Geez Michael, when did you grow a brain?" He teased, but was stopped as the figure came into view. "You must be the replacements... Well done, but you all look foolish." The demon said, as all three held their ground as they saw the demon take a stance. "Allow me to introduce myself... I am Eclipse, the Nightmare Bringer! Now, FACE ME!" And then he charged forward, all three of them shocked as his sword cut Michael's chest first, and then, blank.

+ Present Day +

Michael was brought back into reality when he saw a soldier walking to them both and saluting. Both of them rose as the soldier kept his stance. "Scott of the Michael Division would like to see you now." He said, and Michael nodded. "Very well. Resume your daily activities." He said, as the soldier nodded before running off. Michael and Rin then walked towards the main room. "What could Scott want at a time like this, it's a little unusual for him." She said to Michael, as he sighed out a bit. "No doubt it is something concerning the kids." He said, as they both soon found themselves looking at Scott, who nodded to them both. "Glad you both made it. I have some important news to share with you." He said, indicating to the screen, as Rin rose her brow. "What's this?" She asked, seeing several red markers appearing on the map... Over the already dozen that were being shown. "I took the liberty of taking some of Sebastian's blood while he was out. After analyzing it, I have compared it and found that we currently have two others similar to him. One of them being Deon's, the other being possibly Ash's." He continued, sighing out as he looked at the screen. "So what's the problem?" Michael asked, as Scott looked over at him. "... It's a little unusual, but... It appears there are several people out on here that are identical to his blood. In other words... We may have a few children missing. That is why I have sent out a team of three soldiers each to search five locations. Once a team has searched all five locations, they return here, with or without the correct child."

~ Kallos' Story ~

"The demon has been sent to me, and we are currently analyzing it." The leader spoke, a smirk coming on his features as everyone nodded in agreement, seeming to like that they were successful. "Because of your little outbreak, you now are all on the WDL's most wanted list. Be proud, you all are very high." With this, everyone cheered out as they heard the good news. Photos furrowed his brows and tried to rise, but was stopped as Kibo put a hand on his shoulder and shook his head, to which Photos sat back down. "Now, I will list off each of you in order from least to most. Photos, you are 27. Golem, 23. Bellfoar, 21. Itzhet, 14. Kahlman, 13. Yami, 10. And Balarus, you are six. Well done, each of you." More cheering followed from this, as the leader let this go on for a few before raising his hands up to stop them. "Now then... You will be receiving a new member to your squad in a few. Once this is done, you will be my Elemental Force. Take great pride in this, for you all have a role to play in my upbringing." A dark chuckle followed as he shook his head. "It has come to my reports that Deon, Sebastian and Ash, three of the children we are looking for have joined with The Renegades. I thank you for this report, Kalh." A bow quickly came from Kalh's end as the demon leader went on.

"Devin, who was formerly with the WDL, has currently been listed as missing for the time being. Chang has been reported to be within hell's ranks, no doubt a future enemy to my cause. As for any other children, we do not know. As for demon kings, Crisis has been reported to not have been seen in hell at this time. Loki was last seen with Chang in hell, and Brenhin... Well, that bastard will get his soon enough." He chuckled again as he rose up a finger. "It is time for your first assault against the WDL, your first concern. You will place bombs around the surrounding towns, and within three days, they will be set off. If this succeeds, you will have an easy way in. Good luck figuring out who will set them up." A dark chuckle came out of him, almost turning into a laugh before the screens returned to normal, and the symbol with the eye came back on the screens.

~ Sebastian's Story ~

The mission was over. Drayne was dead. He still couldn't believe that, after all he had done to try to prevent someone dying, it happened either way on this mission. The first thing he did when he got back inside was sigh out and shake his head a little. "... I really hate vampires now. More then I did before as a kid." He said to himself quietly, entering into the main room as he stopped when he noticed a few Renegade soldiers. "Oi, someone give this to that Scott guy when you see him..." He then held up the head of Drayne to a few Renegade soldiers, who could only stare in shock when they saw what it was. It wasn't because it was a severed head, but more because it was Drayne's head that scared them. He then threw it lightly at two of them, who ended up stumbling around before they both caught it and quickly ran off with it, the other one just snickered and followed after them. He rolled his eyes once he was gone and sighed out again. "... Now to find Deon I guess." It would take a few minutes later to find him, who was in nothing but his boxers and socks, which made Sebastian raise a brow at him. He saw Deon wipe his eyes and let out a yawn as he stood in front of him. "Konbanwa, Sebastian. How ya doin?" Deon asked him.

"Well considering I just saw a vampire have his chest bursted open by some rabbit like creature, then getting blown into a pile of blood and guts... I suppose it would be a regular day for you." He admitted to him, remembering something as he quickly reached into his pocket. "Oh, also, she told me to give you this..." He said, pulling out the empty bottle she gave him before and handed it to him. "... I have no idea why she gave me this. Crazy rabbit demons, I suppose..." He watched as Deon grinned and took the bottle from him, but when he looked at it, his expression vanished and his eyes suddenly became lifeless, distant and cold. They stood there in silence, before Quake appeared behind Deon and wrapped her arms around him. She then rubbed her hands all over him, obviously drunk, and this brought Deon back to reality. "What the fuck woman! --" He quickly stopped. "Quake. Get your hand out of my pants, please." Quake responded with a grin and withdrew her hand, then turned herself away before turning back to them and grinned again. "Nice package, Phoenix boy." She then gave a wink before turning away for a third time and left Deon to hang his head. "Don't ever tell anyone that happened.... I'm begging you."

Deon then shook his head and looked at the bottle. "Lemme guess, the rabbit burst out of the vampire, killed him and gave you this to give specifically to me? Of course." Sebastian blinked a little in response and felt himself shuddering a little after what he saw. "... Who says I will, huh? I don't want to talk about you and her doing it any way..." He said, before then letting out a sigh. "Yeah, pretty much... Also, I know her name now it seems. Lunatic Red Eyes. Heard of her? She seemed to know about herself pretty well..." When Deon looked back at him, he saw Deon's eyes, cold and dangerous like Lunatic's had been before she left. "Of course I know her, she works for the person who ruined my life. She vanished in a tear in time and space, right?" Sebastian, confused Deon knew this, blinked three times. "... Um, your starting to scare me now. And I mean, really starting to scare me right now. What am I missing here?" At this, Deon's eyes began to feel like they were drilling into his very soul, before he turned away and ruined the moment by letting out a laugh. "I'm just screwing with ya man. You seen Luci anywhere? She just vanished when you left." Sebastian was able to let him know what had happened earlier with him and Lucifer, but stopped when Deon clutched at his chest, a few drops of blood emitting from his mouth. Sebastian felt his heart race at the sight of the blood, his mind coming back to reality as Deon spoke again. "Control Room, now." Then, he was off for said location. "Oh damn it Lucy..." He mumbled before running off after Deon, who was almost at a running pace, but was slow enough for Sebastian to keep up with him.

When they arrived at the control room, they both found who they were looking for. "Fuck. -" He said, before coughing again and sending more blood splattering to the ground. "What the heck are you doing, Lucifer?" He asked, Sebastian feeling his heart sank as she turned around to him and her eyes glazed, they were lifeless, cold and burning with anger. "What am I doing? What am I doing!?" She said to him, holding up what seemed like a piece of paper at Deon. "The hell are you doing with the contract, Luci?.... You're going to break the seal, aren't you?" And then, the other six sisters of purgatory appeared, all of them looking from Deon to Lucifer and back again in fear. It was Asmodeus who spoke up first. "W-What's going on?" She asked, before receiving the hateful gaze of Lucifer. "I'm giving our 'master' a choice. Either he reseals our contract, or I kill seven people." She said to them. Sebastian, suddenly feeling guilty, tried to hide himself among the six sisters of purgatory. "You're an idiot, you know that? What the hell caused you to act so bitchy all of a sudden, huh?" Deon asked with a sigh, as Lucifer suddenly laughed and grinned in spite. "What caused me to act like this? My Pride was destroyed, that's all. Oh, and besides, I finally realised something as well!" She then turned towards Sebastian, making him shudder out of fear. "I figured out why I left the Orphanage, Sebastian. I left because...... because I..." Her head then fell for a moment, and with a concerned expression, Deon stepped forward. Her head shot up at this, an unearthly laugh escaping her lips before she spoke out to him. "Well, I mean. I used to like you, Sebastian. I used to care about you even more than myself.... but now...... Heh... Heheheheh.... HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" She then fell into a hysterical laughter before focusing her attention back on Deon.

"So what'll it be?" She asked him. Deon could only sigh out and lift his hands. "You know what I have to do, and I'll do it." Sebastian's heart was already sinking lower with each moment that passed by, before he heard someone whisper to him. "Sebastian, this is a Demon's Mental Break, if you weren't aware already." He looked over at one of the sisters, who's name was Mammon, as he began to shiver from what she said. "... I -- I did this...? I could make somene break like this unintentionally..." He needed all the comfort he could get right now, as he put his arms around himself and closed his eyes. "... I can't deal with this again... Not again..." He felt the one named Mammon pat his back. "No, it's probably been built up for a long time, ever since she rejoined us, probably. Just stay quiet, alright?" Deon, meanwhile, glared over at Lucifer and walked towards her. The dark aura was around her form once again, and the tendrils lashed out at Deon as he tried to get closer to her. He stopped only a few centimeters away, and then four tendrils shot through his chest and send a massive blood bloodsplatter onto the floor, which caused Sebastian to cling onto Mammon and hide behind her as it hit some of the sisters. Deon, however, only grinned and chuckled. "So do I have to fight you in your Demon Form as well, Lucifer?" He asked, as Lucifer shook her head at this. "No, you don't deserve to see that again, Phoenix." "... God, I can't do this again." Sebastian mumbled to himself, remembering when his mother was cut on that day, during the attack. He shuddered as he could again feel the heat coming from his scars, remembering when they were made on the same day. ".... Make it stop..." He mumbled out again, loud enough for only the sisters to hear. "... Make it stop, make it stop, make it stop, make it stop..."

Deon looked briefly to Sebastian and grinned, before looking back at Lucifer and nodding. "Go on, do it, Lucifer." He said, and quickly, the tendrils pulled in different directions and tore Deon apart, leaving only bloodstains, flesh and pieces of bones and organs. Sebastian had heard it all and let go of Mammon, backing away from the sisters. "... N-n-no! What did you - why did you - I can't have... I did this to him?" He held his head as everything became muffled to his hearing. ".... Why? Why is this even happening? Why?!?!" He called out, seeming to have some sort of breakdown from all this. Meanwhile, Mammon turned to Sebastian and was about to speak, when she heard a giggle. "Oh come on Mammon, you're too kind to men sometimes. You just have to-" But then, Mammon suddenly whirled around and glared at Lucifer. "SHUT IT BITCH! YOU THINK YOU KNOW HOW HUMANS FEEL!? NO, YOU DON'T! YOU'RE A GODDAMN DEMON, AND I WARNED YOU ABOUT GETTING INVOLVED WITH HUMANS, BUT OH NO! YOU HAD TO GO AND RUN AWAY BECAUSE YOUR PRIDE NEARLY KILLED US ALL!" Mammon then sighed and turned back to Sebastian, he could see a sad smile upon her face. "I'm sorry that you have to hear this, but it'll all be good soon, as long as Lucifer doesn't piss anyone else off, at least." He could hear again, was the first thought that came to his head. He frowned at her and clung on to her again, hiding his face in her shoulder. "... But he's hurt because of me... Oh god, why did she do that to him? I didn't mean to do this to her...." He tightened his arms around her, shaking as he felt like if he let go he was about to lose it... When heard a voice.

"Lucifer. Don't ever do that again, alright?" It said, and when Sebastian looked up, he found Deon standing there. He had just pulled his boxers back up and pulled a packet out of them, it was a cigarette packet. He was grinning at Sebastian, appearing to only have minor scars on his chest from where he was torn apart. Lucifer's head had gone down at this point, a single tear hitting the ground as she rushed over to him and catapulted herself into his arms. Upon impact, his smoke lit. "Easy now, Luci. I'm still injured, after all." He said to her, before looking back at Sebastian with a grin. "Don't worry about me, ever. I can't exactly die, anyways." Sebastian raised his brows at this. "... B-but... What... What did you do? Why did she make you do that?" He tried to ask through chattering teeth as if he was freezing at this point. Deon looked down at Lucifer who was clutching on to him desperately and blabbering nonsense. "I'm immortal, meaning that whenever I die, I come back again...." He said, turning to Sebastian with a grin and took a drag out of his cigarette, patting Lucifer's head, who was crying at this point. "Her stress built up to a level where she just... broke, for lack of better words. It isn't your fault either.... I don't think, anyway." Sebastian then let go of Mammon as he put a hand to his chest and fell to his knees.

Meanwhile, a male voice came to Deon in the form of a mic. "Oi, you awake? We have a problem.... It's Michael... I need you to send Satan, Asmodeus and Leviathan over to my location right now. I'm pulling off an emergency code for this." Deon then quickly turned after hearing this. "Satan, Asmodeus, Leviathan. Get to Michael, asap. I'll follow as soon as everything is settled here." He shook his head after they left and turned to Lucifer. "Luci, go to our room and get some sleep. We'll speak more in the morning." She looked at him, shaking slightly and was about to speak when he rubbed her head. "I forgive you, and so does everyone else." He said to her, and then, she was gone as well. Meanwhile, Mammon had crouched down next to Sebastian and was calling his name while shaking him. Deon then went over to them. "What's wrong now?" He asked, as Sebastian only wrapped his arms around himself again and continued to shiver. He tried to rub his shoulders for warmth as he stared at the ground only. Unable to speak at the time, he leaned into Mammon for warmth.

~ Kallos' Story ~

Kallos sat in his throne, seeming to move his hand towards Yami for an indication as he set three tubes into Kallos' back. His body then glowed bright purple for a few, as he closed his eyes and let out a sigh. Yami then backed away as he watched, Golem was taking a nap at this point. Photos and Kiba had grown quiet. Kalh merely sat and watched all of this, Itzhet was in his room meditating. "Everything is going well it seems." Kallos spoke, as Eppenos had sat down in his seat, which had been somehow expanded to fit his larger status then how most humans were suppose to look. "Now we just need to plan out the distraction... I could easily send Yami and Eppenos out to do the job, but... We need a third one for this." Kalh, at this, stood up from his seat. "Allow me, my lord. My grace and style will put those children to shame." He said, as Kallos shook his head. "... No. Not if they gather and gain up on you." Eppenos, to everyone's surprise, rose up. "I know someone who can help us out." He spoke, as Kallos turned to him. "... Who?" He asked. "Simple. The Wandering Blade. I can convince it... Right, Baphomet?" The sword, Baphomet, let out a mere growl in response that sounded like hundreds of dying souls.

~ ??? ~

"My liege, we have the reports on the children ready to go." A voice called out from one of the chairs in the darkness, the main demon in the room shifted in his seat. The Revolutionary Leader of Hell gave a smirk at this. "Show me them." He said, as he quickly turned and snapped his fingers. "Oh, Kallos isn't here today?" A voice spoke out, his cocky attitude and fast paced voice sounding throughout the room as his hologram appeared. "... You should know he will be informed later, Kappa." A feminine voice spoke this time, her hologram appearing too as the Kappa glared darkly at her. "... Still your tongue, Countess. Or maybe I should come to America and dissect your head? How would you like that, to feel my technology ripping you apart?!" The Revolutionary Leader then raised his hands. "... Enough, or I will send my warlords to both of you. Now, Kappa, you have a status report to make to Kallos later I hear. As for now though, show us the information we require." The Kappa remained silent for a moment, before letting out a sigh in defeat and pressing a few buttons. "... Very well. I will give my report on the ones we have seen in action so far. Be warned though, one of them may turn out t be --" At this, he was stopped when a fist slammed down into an armchair. "... Right. Here are the first five known children." He said, and without hesitation, the four vanished.

~ Michael's Story ~

Michael and Rin saw it all too quickly and it all happened way too fast for either of them to control it. The A.I. had reported significant readings from Sebastian's suit, but what he saw was the horrifying part. Sebastian's body underneath that suit was covered in demonic red symbols. To make matters worse, a demon Renegade soldier had found this and run right to them, complaining about what this all meant. He furrowed his brows and was forced to call in three of Deon's girls, who indeed did appear, which made him sigh out in relief. "... Thank goodness you are --" "AHEM!" He was stopped as he looked over at the Renegade soldier, who by now had a glare and had his arms folded across his chest. "Well? Show them already..." He told Michael, which made him growl as he turned his attention back to the computer. Pressing a few buttons, he brought up the suit's analysis of Sebastian. "... Girls, I want you to look closely at this... If you know what they mean, say it." He said, but before he could go on, the Renegade soldier came in again. "Of course they will. Every demon knows abut that monster!" Michael gave the soldier a glare this time, stopping him from ranting on, and then pressed another button. "... Right." He said, looking up at the screen, and that was when the demonic red symbols appeared on the analysis. "See?!" The soldier started. "Rin, why do you not agree with me?! The boy is a threat, and must be treated as such!"

"Ah, so Sebastian's a threat then? What a shame..." The voice said, making everyone raise a brow and look over to see... Deon in his underwear. With a grin on his face to top it all off! His head then went down and for a few tense seconds, everything was too quiet with him. "Well, in that case..." He then lifted his head up and a smirk plastered to his face. "You're gonna have to get through me first. He's my kid brother, and I don't intend on letting anyone hurt him." The three sisters who had come looked at each other and then spoke out in unison. "We'll protect him also." Rin, meanwhile, looked to the soldier and glared at him. "He's a KID, you can't kill a kid!" Michael looked back at Deon and then sighed out. "... I'm not saying we need to kill him, but... Well, these symbols... I'm sure you recongize them as well, don't you?" After he said this, the soldier intervened again. "It does not MATTER if he is a child! He carries the blood of that MONSTER in him! I am telling you now, if we do not capture him and sentence him to an execution, he will destroy EVERYTHING we have worked for!" The soldier's glare then went to Rin. "Children have died in the past, I can understand that, but this CHILD is a harbringer!" His attention shifted to Michael. "Isn't it your instinctual duty to eliminate the blood of that monster from this world?!?" He asked Michael. Michael, in return, only could look down and close his eyes. ".... We tried before, but he's too strong --" He stopped when the soldier's hand slammed down.

"DON'T GIVE ME THAT! We all could of tried, and --" "AND WHAT?!" Michael stepped in. "Have everyone DIE?! Is that what you want?!" The soldier then turned his attention to Deon. "Come on now, you must understand!" He then looked back towards Rin. "I am telling you, it is now or NEVER! We must act before it is too late!" Deon let out a sigh and scratched at the back of his head. "Yeah, didn't they say that I was the Harbringer of Death before?" He then grew a grin on his face. "And like I said, you're free to try and kill me, if you really want to have every single bone in your body broken ten times over. Be my guest." Deon then walked over to Michael and patted him on the back. "Calm down, you're meant to be the good guy out of us two." Deon turned away at this, taking his cigarette out of his mouth and blowing smoke out, as he watched it dance around on the air currents. "I'm aware of who that demon is, what it's capable of, and what it might do. But, for now, that's Sebastian out there, and I must admit, he's wearing a pretty nifty suit." Rin, meanwhile, rubbed her forehead and then glared at the soldier. "I'm out, you're free to do whatever you want, but Deon isn't joking." With those words, she left, and the soldier looked to Michael as he stood frozen to the spot with his hands clutched. "Listen to me Mi --" But Michael slammed his hands down to interrupt him. "... I'm calling a private meeting. Leave us." He looked towards the angry renegade soldier. "That's an order." He said, watching the Renegade soldier grit his teeth. "... Fools..." He mumbled, and then quickly walked away out of fear.

Michael turned around slowly as he opened his eyes and looked to Deon, a sad expression forming. "... Damn it Deon, I... I didn't think we'd have an issue like this." He said, sitting down as he put his face into his hands. ".... Damn it.... If every demon in here knows that the child has his blood in him.... Oh god help us all." Michael then felt Deon's hand on his shoulder as he banished the girls away from them. "Don't worry, we'll just keep it a secret for now, and if we have trouble in the ranks, then we'll deal with it there and then, but for now there's no need to freak out. Also, you can stop working so hard now, since me and Rin and back." Deon chuckled at this. "And besides, ya really think God above would help a bunch of Demons out?" Michael shrugged his shoulders at this. "... They say he works in mysterious ways..." He said to Deon, standing up and letting out a sigh. "... I will inform Scott to keep an eye on the suit readings from now on. I want all three of us alerted if the boy reaches critical emotional levels again... Whatever the hell just happened to him, it can't be allowed to happen again... At any cost, Deon. I know I've been working hard and I'm not as good as Scott is, but... I do know when times are needed to be called in. Even if some will disagree with it... I just never assumed something like that would ever happen to me." He looked in Deon's direction at this. "... I don't know how you can do it, but please... Don't let him reach this again. I'm going to have Scott run some tests on these symbols, but in any case... I fear that if Sebastian transforms again, he will lose control. Then again, I am talking to you... You'll find a way, you always do."

Deon sighed again and patted Michael on the shoulder. "Listen up, douchebag. If Scott was better than you, he'd be in the Leader seat right now, not you. Get it?" Deon looked away before he continued. "I'm sorry for getting caught by the WDL, as well. Rin shouldn't have come after me either." Deon then turned towards Michael and looked him straight in the eyes. "Michael, answer me honestly. How do you fell about Rin?" Michael looked at Deon and straightened his posture. "... You can take a guess, can't you? But it's not like I'm going to tell her or anyone else... Bah, listen to my own words. I'm a wreck already..." Deon laughed at this and patted Michael's back. "Yeah, she's alright ain't she? She probably feels the same way, given how you two act around eachother. And you're not a wreck, if you were you'd be on the ground crying like the little girl you are.... Anyways, how about I shout you a drink so you can loosen up a little?" Michael sighed at this. "... Thanks but no thanks. I need to keep an eye on things for now... So, how did the missions go? I hear one of your siblings went with you, while this child here went after a vampire... A type A vampire if I remember correctly..." Deon laughed and grinned at this, sitting on the edge of the table. "The mission went well. I got to fight again.... And I ran into a certain person." Michael rose a brow at this. "... Deon, please tell me it was The Nue. Medusa? Ronove, The Agent, I'll even take Miss Nuclear!" Deon's eyes suddenly grew cold and he locked them with Michael's own. "You already know who it was, so there's no point in trying to get out of it. It was Frankenstein, of course."

Michael put a hand on his face for a moment and then shook his head. ".... Lord help us all." He then removed a hand from his face and looked at Deon. "... Why now? Why of all times does he appear NOW?" Deon's eyes narrowed at this as he bit int his cigarette a bit. "You think I somehow know? He's always been there, ever since we last fought him, but he's just been in hiding." Deon then turned away and sighed. "Well, I'm off to sleep. You should get some as well, Michael. You deserve it." Deon patted Michael on the back again and stepped out of the room. But before he was out of earshot, Michael could hear one last thing. "Michael, it's back. The Madness. I'll be sleeping for a while, but I'm scared again, Michael. You know what happened when it was there last time." With that, he was gone. Michael then closed his eyes and sighed out once more. "... Two of the children are now in danger of themselves. What a nuisance... Adding work onto the work I already have to go here."

Eppenos found the location, an abandoned, old and broken looking building stood before him. He walked with stealth today, his movements quiet enough to take him inside despite in reality he was three stories high. He stopped before two old looking doors, he studied them carefully. Forced entry. A brief brawl that led inside. The familiar sensation of hatred and bloodshed he had endured many times himself in the past. He placed his hand gently upon both of them, seeming to study how well in place they were, before all too quickly pushing with violent force that it tore them down from where they were and sent them flying to the ground, and brought up for a cloud of dust around him. It didn't bother him in the least though, walking out of it as if it was normal air. Once inside, he noticed how much a wreck everything was - what had once been a normal building a few days ago had been hit by the apocalypse. Cars were destroyed, blood stains were everywhere, corpses were lying around all over the place, the usual stuff. He examined the cuts on each corpse for a brief second, that was enough for him though to know that it was here. "So... This looks like the perfect place for it to come to, perhaps... If it caused this, that is."

Just at this same time, Eppenos heard the sound of a sword being sheathed, and when the dust settled, a small child stood in the wake of the destruction and carnage it had caused. It turned to look at him, a maniac grin flashing across it's face before it seemed to 'vanish' before him. He did not move though, even when a blade appeared in front of him and went to slash his shoulder but stopped just centimeters away from his body. It was then the voice that sounded like a maelstrom of the voices of it's victims talked to him, sounding just like a demon would. "So, why are you to seek me out?" It asked him. He watched it so peculiarly and he wondered if he could perhaps make this blade his second, but Baphomet hated sharing the spotlight. Speaking of which, all too quickly Eppenos drew out his own demon weapon, who's aura clashed with The Wandering Blade's own. "You are the one with no name, but have taken the title of The Wandering Blade... Baphomet tells me of tales about you, and you are just as it described." A low growl came out of Baphomet in response, it's growls always were a mystery. It was unknown whether it was the many souls of fire demons inside it crying out in agony, or if it was Baphomet itself that called out from all these tortured souls. "We are here to hire your services... Temporarily, of course. We know of how much your hatred has grown over the years."

At this, the blade suddenly reacted by changing itself, making a surreal mouth appear along it's length with a tongue that seeped out and licked Eppenos. "You are Eppenos, wielder of Baphomet. Well met." It said, as the child that wielded it grinned deviously, his voice like gravel rubbing against rock. "Pray tell me why you are in need of my services?" He nodded at the demon's words before speaking himself. "One of my current partners, Balarus of Kallos, is in need of help for an attack tomorrow evening. There is a boy he is worried about, an unusual child who has the devil's blood in his veins. Sebastian. He needs to be dealt with tomorrow, while he is still inexperienced in the ways of fighitng in the real world. He needs you to do this, a strong and powerful demon like yourself. That all depends though... Are you up to the task?" He watched as the mouth of the blade grinned and it's tongue flapped around and salivated in anticipation. "Of course, I will take this task upon me.... What else will be happening, that day?" The child grinned at this, his eyes suddenly beginning to go dull. "Take me into your hands, and I will not try to take you over. I swear it on what I once was."

Eppenos looked at Baphomet, who merely growled in response. He placed Baphomet back into it's sheath and then took a hold of The Wandering Blade with one hand, pulling it from the child's grip before placing his other hand on it. His demon aura clashed with the demon weapon's at first, both fighting against one another before both would settle into acceptance. He was cautious though, and looked around for any signs. "Of course you do... For now, it seems you are trust-worthy. What else will be happening, well let me see... Ah yes, I will be fighting against a certain phoenix. A well known one, who holds two demon weapons in his possession. There will also be a girl there. Both are named Deon Morris and Ashley Clade. Although if you wish to know more, I will have to take you back to Balarus." Meanwhile, the child's eyes rolled into the back of his head and he collapsed into fits at the floor, foaming at the mouth before suddenly exploding and sending blood and stuff out everywhere around the room. The tongue of the blade simply licked the blood off of itself and grinned widely. "I don't want to know more, as long as you can give me another host, a stronger one. The other requirement?" The mouth of the blade then grinned, growing to almost impossible lengths before speaking again. "I want blood. Lots, and lots of blood!"

Eppenos had not been disturbed by the child exploding, and simply shook his head when he found himself covered in blood. "A stronger host... Of course. And as for the blood... You will get it. Lots of it." He said, turning around and beginning to exit the building. "Tell me one thing though... How did you come to be though? Do you even remember anything about what you once were?" He watched as the mouth of the blade vanished and felt a great weight overcome it. Slowly, the metallic surface of the sword became like liquid and then a male form came out of it. It suddenly hardened into steel and it looked like a metallic statue, albeit with incredible detail. A few seconds pass, the figure seemed in many ways like a human, aside from a crown of small horns jutting out at odd angles from it's head. Scars adorned his face and body, with half of his face being nothing but bone. The figure was only seen down to it's hips, it smirked at him. "I was a brave knight, once. I found that there was not enough blood and then I became a Demon, able to satisy my hunger for chaos and violence on a daily basis. And then I became the weapon of a feared warlord, who was killed in battle by the teamwork of two other Demons, a Kasha and a Phoenix. If I could challenge them again, it would work out nicely for me." The figure's smirk turned more sadistic as it's eyes lit up in anger. Eppenos rose a brow in response, nodding his head, as he found this unusual for a demon weapon to do. "Interesting... A Phoenix and a Kasha? Tell me then... Do they happen to be named Rin and Deon Morris of the Renegades? If they are, don't worry... You will meet them again."

The figure responded with a grin. "I knew not the name of the Phoenix, but the Kasha is the one. I want her blood, and I want it now!" It commanded at him, it's previously smooth edge suddenly became serrated and the tip shot out to a few feet longer then previously, twisting like a snake's tail and spiking up like a lollipop jammed with needles. The figure gave a final grin before sinking back into the metal. "Make sure I get their blood soon, or I will not take up the mission." Eppenos merely nodded at this. "Yes, we will get you the blood you demand for. But we need to lure them out first, remember. They will be cautious if it's otherwise... The wait though, will be worth it. Just think of all the blood you will get, and that shall be rewarding enough for you." In response, the mouth of the blade would reappear, and began to laugh maniacally.

~ Sebastian's Story ~

It had been some time now since Sebastian had left Mammon and decided to head back to his room. He had thanked her for calming him down after the... Set of events that had happened today. He took off everything about his suit except for the hat, thankful his clothes were unharmed. He quickly checked in the closet, seeing a new outfit set for him as he nodded to himself. He decided to look for a shower, taking one after ten minutes of searching. He then headed back to his room and noticed one of the new outfits in it, putting it on as he put away his normal attire. It'll be clean when I wake up, right? He asked himself mentally, thinking about the past three days. "... I'm such a fool sometimes." He said, before locking the case again just to be certain and headed out of his room, locking it too. He kept his hat on his head as he wandered the halls of the Renegade base, deep in his own thoughts as he looked at his right arm and pulled up the sleeve of it. He watched the strange red demonic symbols again, his heart feeling like it took a huge leap forward before he quickly put his sleeve down quickly and sighed, lowering his hat a bit over his eyes. "... I feel like cr -- I mean, crude." He mumbled to himself. It was by chance that he caught sight of Claire and Kane, the former was clutching what looked like a clipboard to her chest while the latter had an arm around her shoulder. From what Sebastian could make out, he was chatting away, but the conversation became more intelligible as the two forces got closer to one another. "Yeah, I think it's a great idea." Kane said to her, giving her a wink and a thumbs up.

Sebastian looked up and felt his eyes widened a bit, quickly looking back down and lowered his hat again a bit. "... Don't spot me, don't spot me, don't spot me." He said quietly to himself, and started to walk past them, however he began to take his time in order to hear what they were saying. Unfortunately his clothes slightly resembled his old ones, plus his height, however he could listen into the conversation from this. "You really think so? It's not too corny? Or presumptious of me?" Claire asked, smiling a little as she laughed. "After all, I'm not in charge here. They might get mad me taking things into my own hands." "Nonsense. I think it's brilliant. And They seem friendly here, I can't imagine Deon saying no to an idea like that." They were so deep into the conversation, they had no idea he was about to pass them. This made him stop and look at them as he rose a brow at them. "... What are you two on ab -- DARN!" He realized his mistake too quickly, shaking his head as he sighed out. "... Hi guys." He said in defeat, his head hanging a little as he put a hand on his hat. "Huh? Oh, Sebastian. Didn't see you there pal." Kane said, turning to face him as he scratched the back of his head while giving a nervous chuckle. "Is there a rodeo on or something?" Claire asked, giggling as she gestured towards the hat.

Sebastian rose a brow at this and patted his hat a little at this. ".. No, I think that guy called Scott gave it to me as part of my new combat outfit." He gave a shrug at this. "... So what -are- you two talking about any way?" He asked them. "Oh, I meant no offence by it." Claire waved her arms in embarrassment at this. "It's cute. But um, well... It's a surprise. To be honest, if I knew you were so close by I woulda zipped my lips." Sebastian shrugged his shoulders to this. "... Well then I suppose -- wait, you think this make me look -cute-?!" His cheeks then lit up bright red as he didn't know what else to do. ".... Ummm, no offence." He quickly added in, lifting his hat up a little to reveal more of his face. "... Um, well..." He started off. "... A-anything going on with you two then?" He wanted to get off this subject so badly, he wanted to not think about something with him and the word cute! Claire giggled from seeing Sebastian flush over this, for some reason to only herself she was enjoying this. "Well, other than the party we're organising-" Kane started off, only to be stopped by a slap to the back of his head, Kane winced in pain as Claire rapped her clipboard intimidatingly before folding her arms in annoyance and sighing out. "I'm beginning to think subtlety isn't your strong suit Kane... Honestly, we were just talking about it being a surprise a second ago."

"Right, right, sorry..." Kane slowly sat back up after saying this, laughing mainly at himself. "Guess the cat's out of the bag now, huh? Hopefully you can keep a tighter lid on it then me Sebastian." Sebastian nodded in reply as he furrowed his brows at this, looking down at the ground as he went into his thoughts before coming to a conclusion. "... As long as we're showing secrets, I -- I have something to confess..." He then held out his right arm towards them as he quickly pulled his sleeve back to reveal the fading demonic red symbols on his skin. "... D-do either of you know what this is?" Kane looked bewildered when he saw it, but Claire narrowed her eyes as her expression turned serious. "They're the mark of the Inferno, a symbol of relation to an ancient demon king. Naturally, he was a ruler of the flame - and by that token, it would be prudent not to go showing that around." Sebastian quickly rose his brows at this as he lowered his sleeve. "Mammon warned me not to show this to anyone... I-Inferno? But that's suppose to be my alias... I thought Scott gave me that alias..." He shivered at this, taking a step back. "... N-no. I -- I'm making things worse just by being here?"

"Hey, chill out Sebastian. I don't know what all this Inferno business is about, but know you're a friend to me, so it doesn't change a thing in my book." Kane said to him, giving him a pat on the shoulder with a grin. "I'm sure you're the same, right Claire?" He asked her. "Right..." She said, her eyes remaining hard for a moment before she finally relaxed and smiled again. Sebastian, on the other hand, placed a hand on his hat and furrowed his brows. "... U-um, I originally came to ask about Ash, but nevermind... I need to stay away now... I-if it's not too much trouble to ask... When's the party going to be?" He asked. "Well, it's not going to be for a while yet. Me and Kane were just going to head out to grab some supplies, then set up for it early tomorrow morning for everyone to wake up to. A bit of a welcome for all of us, really." Claire explained to him, holding out the clipboard. "I've got a list of things to pick up here. If you like, you can come with us. After all, We could use a spare hand, and it'll certainly help you lay low."

Sebastian sighed out a little at this. "... S-sure... It's just... I wanted you to ask if you would talk to Scott for me..." He asked while looking over the clipboard. "... I just want to know if you trust me Claire." He said to her. Claire smiled a bit again and parted her fringe behind her hair to fix it. "Well, if you really want me to vouch for you, I'd be happy to. Not that I have much authority around here anyway." She laughed at this, turning down the hall as she gestured for them to follow. "As for the matter of trust, just keep in mind I've got my eye on you. That doesn't mean I'm not willing to give you a chance however." She winked, sticking out her tongue briefly. Sebastian felt himself smiling at this. "... O-okay! Let's do this then!" He said with excitement as he was cheered up a bit now. He then grabbed one of Claire and Kane's arms as he walked a little faster at this. "Keep up, slowpokes!" He said, as he felt like a little kid at the moment.

~ Michael's Story ~

Scott was having one busy day it seemed. Anders had just completed his test with Eclipse, although he had no idea if it was a success or a failure. Eclipse was confusing that way. Nodding to Anders, he patted him on the shoulder as he began to head out with two Renegade soldiers moving in to stand by Ander's sides. "Do what you like from here, these two will help you out or try to answer any questions you may have for them." He said, before leaving Eclipse's room with the door opened. The guards would most likely close the door on their way out. He shrugged his shoulders when he got several notifications all at once. ".. Jesus christ, calm down!" He said, rushing to Michael, who was still standing by the computer. "What's happening?" He asked, as Michael shrugged his shoulders. "No idea. Sebastian's suit readings are starting to act a little funny, he may be coming down with something..." Scott furrowed his brows at Michael's words. "No doubt he's making things worse by walking around. We need to get him to the medics and fast, I don't want him dying now of all times." He said, when he looked over at a soldier who just came over. "Sir, we -- we have some bad news!" He said, as Scott rose his brows at this. "Calm down, tell me what happened." He asked, as the soldier looked up at him. "It's -- it's the new child we just brought in. She's missing!"

Scott's eyebrows rose up at this as he put a hand on his forehead. "... Oh jesus." He mumbled, looking over at Michael. "Keep an eye on things here." He said, and began to walk away, when anther soldier came over. "Sir, I'm sorry to interrupt, but you have a meeting in a few." This made Scott give the soldier a questionable look. "What for?" He asked. "It's... Um, another child, sir." He said, as Scott looked around at the other soldier. Quickly, he walked over to the computer and pressed a button as it began to track for Keilani. "Send one of the men that brought her in to --" He stopped as the computer started to detect something else approaching her position. "... Scratch that. Send a doctor over to them at once." He said, watching the soldier salute and quickly race off. He then followed the other soldier into a room where he sat down in his chair and waited. At this, a young woman was brought in, one with purple hair it seemed. "... Greetings." He said, a chair being pulled open for her. "Have a seat." He said, as once she was seated he would nod to the soldier who would stand by the door. "My name is Scott. I would like to know your name as well, because what I'm about to tell you will change your entire future from here on out. If you have any questions for me, ask them at any time." He told her.

~ Sebastian's Story ~

Sebastian at this time was making his way back to The Renegade base with Kane and Claire, listening to them chat on the way there. He had two bags in his arms, he stood in the center as he then saw the base coming into view. "So... Much.... Stuff. Just for one party. You two must of chosen a big room... Did you?" He asked. "Well, we were just going to deck out the main hall. Everyone'll probably be asleep by now." Claire said as she smiled cheerfully, seeming to be content with her one bag. Kane on the other hand got the burden with a heavy multitude of different things, seeming to be buried beneath the mountain of parcels. Sebastian nodded in response to her words. "Gotcha. Hopefully, we can sneak in and start setting things up before anyone notices us." He said, looking over at Claire. "Heh, yeah. I'm glad we managed to get everything though. Music, streamers, balloons, food, drink... And the cake! That looked scrumptious." Claire said, licking her lips a little as they then headed inside. Sebastian smiled again when he heard this, laughing a little once they were inside and headed for the main hall. "Yeah, I know right? Hey Kane, how you holding up?" He asked, glancing over at him. "I'm... Good! No problems here!" Kane said, poking his head out at this while taking careful steps. He had already fallen once on the way back, he could probably make it without more trouble. Sebastian chuckled at this as he raced towards the main hall. "RACE YOU THERE THEN!" He shouted out to them, as he tried to get to the main hall first.

"Ah, Sebastian wait!" Claire called out towards him, with concern in her voice. Sebastian tried to stop at this, but ended up spinning around as his eyes widened at this. "WHOA!" He cried out, increasing his speed temporarily which ended up slamming his back into a wall. He then collapsed onto his butt with the two bags falling into his lap. "Ahhh... Yeah?" He tried to ask. Claire giggled a little at this and then dropped her bag into his lap as well. "You need to carry my bag too." She then smirked and took off down the hall, having the current advantage. Sebastian gritted his teeth as he wrapped his arms around all three and then slowly stood up. "... C-crud." He mumbled out, increasing his agility again as he raced after her with the intent of getting past her in time, but he found that difficult when he found her there. Meanwhile, Kane continued to slowly shuffle down the hall. He had enough trouble keeping his balance at a walking pace... Catching her breath in the meantime, Claire began looking around the main hall, eyeing up where she'd like each of the decorations. When Sebastian got there, he ended up sliding in and just barely stopped beside her, panting as he put the three bags down and laid down on his back. "... Don't tell me I have to do you a favor?" She smirked at this. "Hmm... I'll think about it." She said, leaning over to the bag as she grabbed some balloons. "For now, let's get started on these. I was thinking three in each corner, tie some up in the center of the room..."

Sebastian got up at this and brushed himself off. "... Alright, I just -- feel a little -- light-headed right now... Is all." He mumbled before pulling out some items out of the bag. "You sure you're okay?" She asked as she leaned down and placed a hand on his forehead to check his temperature, making him stop and shiver a little at her touch. "... At least let me help before I pass out... O-or something close to that." He tried to get out. "Nonsense. If you're sick we need to get you treated..." She said, looking at him in concern and frowned. "You should've told me if you weren't feeling well. Me and Kane could've handled this." Sebastian gritted his teeth at this. "I'm not some little kid anymore. I --" He stopped and quickly put his arm over his mouth and coughed a little. "... Oops." He said, before falling forward at this. However, Claire caught him and and held Sebastian against her chest. "Kid or not, you need help. Don't be afraid to get some support." Sebastian then looked at her and blushed a little, looking away at this. "... Fine, fine..." He mumbled out. "Now come on. I'll take you down to the medical wing." She helped Sebastian up and Claire got an arm under him to support his weight. Sebastian looked down and shivered from her touch, leaning against her a little as he felt her begin to take him away at this. While they were walking, it seemed they encountered a pink haired girl, as Kane looked around at all this with a puzzled look. "... Um, am I suppose to be happy or worried about this?" He asked them all in general before any of them could speak.

"This area is already under our control... Submit to the uprising and you will be spared, but if you do not submit, then you will be wiped out along with the rest of his forces!" His voice called out to them all as several fights were happening at once, his four warlords ending their fights. The first warlord seen was dashing in at a wounded demon king, who began gathering up his attack inside his own body. The robed figured leaped up into the air and sent in several attacks that paralyzed the demon king to his spot, as the robed figure landed in front of him. "Sorry about this... But I have to wrap this fight up for my master." He said, before quickly drawing out his dagger and stabbing it into his knee. "Burning Crack!" He shouted out, as a tear opened up in his leg as he screamed out in pain. The dagger was pulled out as he turned around and put it away, walking away as the demon king exploded into multiple flaming pieces. "The demon king Vysral is dead."

He said, and kicked the demon king he was fighting down into the ground. He landed nearby him as he smirked while watching the dead around him come back to life. "W-what did you do?! At this, a gigantic Demon King was sent crashing into the ground by a human sized figure way too small to have taken him on. The figure rose up with a grin on his face. "Heh! "You will either bow or submit, for that is the way of the future! MY future! For I am the Revolutionary King!" He said, and turned away and headed back towards his base of operations, his three warlords appearing behind him and following him while also leaving the area they had just wrecked to crumble to it's demise. "... Oi, didn't I send four of you out?" He asked, as the other three shrugged. "He must of gotten lost again... That idiot, I can go find him for you if you so wish it my lord." Kami asked, but the Revolutionary King raised a hand in objection. "No. We left our message for a pretty good while... My focus is what is happening on the human world at this time. As this war approaches, the tension up there just rises up. I wonder if Kallos will truly succeed with his plan in the end..." He shrugged and headed inside with the other three. "I guess that's up to fate."
