For example, she could stand and look at a beam of light through a window, and she could move it so that if one looks at it correctly, you might just see a fall of flowers, or a slow shower of water. Or she can warp the light to look like the exact appearance of a lion, or a dragon, or a blade flashing in her hand that, without substance, would appear to strike home and pull away soaked in the blood that hasn't really been shed.

Chloe is completely a being of the light and the sun and the daytime. She is a bright, and generally good humored young woman. She can be a little childish sometimes, delighting in the same pleasure she enjoyed as a child - ice cream, trampolines, parks, and others. However, that isn't to say the she does not act like an adult. Despite her fun loving, bright side, she is very responsible and also takes particular joy in more adult pastimes. She can be easily frightened, and can sometimes act like a rabbit caught in headlights, but when she remembers her training she is brilliant and courageous in her actions, even if she doesn't think about them first. Chloe was born in a small neighborhood in the suburbs of some anonymous American town. It was a place surrounded, secretly of course, by other families who belonged to the Light clan. Her doting parents were fairly affluent, and so she had to contend with their expectations as both a member of the Light clan, and also their own experiences. From an early age, she attended school with other, normal children and also those that she knew were part of her Clan. It was a generally quiet existence, and she began her training with the other Light clan trainees when she was twelve. Driven by her parents expectations and her own desire to excel, she did just that. She quickly became better than the other students when it came to illusions, and bending of light, and she trained with the other Clan members who were around her age until she was 17. Then, due to her mothers illness, Chloe had to leave her training, and in her mothers final days, she was left to entertain her with petty tricks as she died, and Chloe was never the same since. She had to grow up abruptly, and her life was uncomfortably still until she was taken. By who, she didn't know. But she hadn't used her power since the death of her mother, and was weaker than ever.
