With Rosaline, there's the attributes and way she wants to be: strong, independent, knowledgeable, which is how she acts the majority of the time, often countering what she actually needs. It's almost as if she functions heavily by acting like it, believing it, and it will be, growing these qualities into fruition. She longs for this ideal inner strength so is often dismissive of queries about her well being and being told something can't be done. Certainly somewhere she appreciates the concern but she can't lean on others forever and she's changing that now. Being young seems to pair with the damsel in distress role, this makes her feel like dead-weight and a burden and all-around is just a dreadful position for her to find herself so she puts on the essential brave face to convince others and herself, she's fine.
Under the surface, Rose is naturally terrified. Everything going on with her seems problematic and near impossible to actually control from her powers to the newfound bloodlust.

Rosaline possesses the ability to generate and manipulate force fields, a ghostly coloured and transparent force of energy that acts as primarily a shield. It serves as a powerful barrier able to stop any range of assaults; bullets, elemental magic, brute force, otherworldly, etc. to name a few. While this defensive use is most known and used by Rose, there are other applications to her powers that she can execute and is learning still.
⟡ Repelling: If timed correctly, she can repel a moving object or person giving a strong push effect.
♦ Blocking: She can create specific force-fields to prevent things from leaving and/or entering.
⟡ Energy Construction: Can be used to propel her into the air, move objects etc. similar to telekinesis.
♦ Indomitable Will: Her mind is like a force-field itself, acting as mental shield passively. Rumour says she can protect others minds as well.
Vampirism: Being a newblooded vampire, Rosaline has much to learn and master. Her enhanced senses prove a curse over a gift, driving her to lunacy more often than not. She has grown intolerable to the sun, thirsts for blood and experiences even further raging moods.
