Setting
Large, five person dorm. Two large bedrooms on the lower level, one smaller bedroom on the loft. When you walk in, there is a large space with hardwood flooring that leads into an open stainless steel kitchen. The floor plan is very open, and you can pretty much see everything but the bedrooms from the doorway. The living room, with is slightly raised on the right corner of the square room, features modern furniture and a staircase that leads to the loft bedroom. Brick walls. All bedrooms have a bed, a desk, a fireplace, empty bookshelf, a bedside table, and a lamp. You are responsible for sorting out the bedrooms, and if you require any more furniture, tell me in OOC. c:

I open my eyes.
My vision is blurred, but I quickly rub the sleep from my eyes. I put on my fuzzy slippers and drag my feet groggily to the bathroom. I start running my shower,I pull up the opening page on the tablet and check my schedule for the day.
"Yay! The same as always." I said sarcastically. I have been here for eleven years, and I have switched schedules five times.
That's about once every two years.
I have been here the longest out of all the kids in the Castle. Kids come and go, well, most come and die. Die from training accidents, the electric mesh field from trying to escape, or sometimes from the guards. I can only think of one person who got out, because the Head Council decided that the power was useful to the world.
I tightened my robe, then walked out of my room and to the railing of the loft area.
"Wake up, sleepy heads! I'm going to take all the hot water!" I yell to my dormmates Amandine and Amelia.
I walk back into the bathroom, take off my bathrobe, and step in the shower.

I turn off and exit the shower. I slip on my robe and slippers and walk into my room. I sort through my closet to pick a simple black sleeveless tank top and a high-wasted floral dress that reaches just above my knee. I walk back into the de-steamed bathroom and pick up my hairbrush. I lift it up in the air and release my grip. Instead of falling to the ground, it stays up in the air. My eyes light up bright blue. The hairbrush begins to brush my hair itself. I smile, and start to change into the skirt and tank. Soon after, my eyes return to their coffee brown and the hairbrush drops over the vanity. I glance at myself in the mirror, then walk out of the bathroom.

I ran to my dorm, sped up to my desk. I grabbed my tablet, and checked in. It showed me that I needed to study for science, and I sighed. I have no material for science. I tucked the tablet back in my shoulder bag. I froze for a second, getting an idea.
I grabbed a pink pillow off my bed, and carried it over to the railing. I flipped my legs over the railing of the loft, and stuck the pillow under my feet.
"Now or never." I say.
My eyes change color. I levitate the pillow, then I lift my butt up off the railing and stand on the pillow. I stick my hands out to stable myself. I slowly lower the pillow, and I go with it. I start laughing.
About 5 feet from the ground, I drop. My legs smack the ground like a ragdoll.
"Well, there is a science lesson..." I groan. "Physics..." I give a slight laugh.
You know, maybe I should just study something else right now.

Amma woke to the shape of a mouse, curled up and tucked under her pillow. She shut her eyes, trying desperately to catch the dream she just had... But it slipped away again, leaving her with nothing but a feeling of longing. Sighing, she shifted into human form, stretching her arms up and above her head as she did so.
"Morning again, huh," she muttered. "At least some things never change." Despite that, she smiled, tilting her head as she looked about the empty dorm room. "Oops," she said, not sorry at all. "Must've overslept."
Slowly, she got out of bed and headed into the shower. When she finished, Amma chose a light green and brown coloured ensemble to wear, with a tan spring jacket and her favorite locket. Satisfied at last, she sauntered out of the room. She hadn't bothered to check the time. She had her hands folded behind her back as she made her slow way to the Library,
Intent on studying biology when she got there by turning in to an animal and sleeping some more.
Breakfast had completely slipped her mind. She would regret that later.
