|Personality|
{Trait 1, Trait 2, Trait 3, Trait 4, Trait 5}
Despite the stereotype, Ellen is pretty down to earth and isn't the bitchy co-captain trying to overrule the school and Kennedy, nor kiss up to anyone's rear. People can either hate her or love her or be somewhere in between, she won't try to persuade otherwise. Unless she fancies them-she'll pursue a little.
She doesn't seek fights or rumours or any of that drama but can often find herself in those situations. And some of them are just too juicy too resist.
More on the upside is she is an adventurous, energetic and perky individual that likes to try new things and keep an open mind. She operates by the saying "don't knock it till you try it". Naturally she is a social butterfly and generally approachable. Otherwise, a highly motivated cheerleader that devotes herself to routines and her own fitness that it can appear like an OCD.
When bored and alone Ellen converts to get experimental with her look ranging from clothes, make up and hairstyle or otherwise converts to trying to bond with her brother over the xbox or some sporting game or board game.
Occasionally she'll be the big sister that attempts to help him with homework. But she'll always be the protective "No one messes with him but me" type.
The same applies to her friends. Her friends are an interesting area; while she has strong empathy for them and loves them, she can also feel jealous of her friend position being taken away and has an odd insecurity about that, though she'll never admit it.
Inside, she appreciates challenges to a degree. Nothing too upstaging or intimidating, but something that is an actual challenge to show the consequence has been worked for and earned.

|Background|
Ellen grew up raised well in a loving and functional family environment with the classic applications of; To be treated as you would like to be treated. Earn your keep. Care for yourself. And Karma will do it's job. Of course she no longer believes karma as much as she'd like to, especially in the face of injustice. But she's still a girl that works hard to get what she wants, though she's never been the type to backstab to get there.
Her mother and father introduced her to love of dance. Though they didn't know it. Some sentimental music was playing in the lounge and they were spotted dancing around with love in their eyes and smiles on the faces, and Ellen noted how beautiful and contagious it was. It was good for the soul. Then she found cheerleading through a cousin's football game. And they excited the crowd with ease and shared optimism and energy.
