The calculating Technophile.
Usually calm and collected Marie's almost always seen looking put together and organized although beneath the surface she's actually quite lazy. Being a technophile Marie's been known to be slightly introverted in her hobbies, verging more towards video games and comics, although she enjoys a few sports like Tennis and Badminton. Nothing that involves heavy physical activity though unless it's part of her fitness plan.
Overall she's a very intelligent person and what she lacks in bronze she makes up for in brains even if her over thinking and judgmentalness has made her quite cynical. To her there's nothing that can't be bought or bribed and she takes a scientific stand point on most topics. As to her, every persons actions is just chemicals in the brain. Although quick to judge she's also a quick thinker and is able to make decisive decisions quickly and from what she likes to think of as precise. To most she can come off as quite cold although there have been a few people that have seen a softer side when dealing with cute things although she'd never tell anyone that, otherwise it might wreck her image. Preferring to have a few friends, those not in her inner circle tend to have trouble dealing with her on a friendly basis but she attempts to treat everyone in a business like manner. It's rare for her to show any outward dislike to a person but it has been known to show in her hostile glares.
With Marie's love of technology came interesting powers, or maybe the other way around. Either way she can communicate with electronic technology with ease and is able to both tap into it and also deconstruct it. Her abilities are listed below:
Binary: Access into the technologies inner workings allowing her to manipulate numbers to both help and corrupt the system.
Tech-link: Communication between her and said tech to view it's inner workings access various files and information.
Satellite: Complete viewing of surveillance equipment located in various locations throughout the city.
For all abilities a minimum of fifty-feet must be kept to access technology. Unless equipment is part of a network, then only one of the device is needed.
Coming from a racially intermixed family in England, Marie grew up in a family of Four as the underachieving middle child with two overachieving brothers. To her their was no point in proving she was smart, she knew it and the psychologists that had tested her knew it. Their verdict? She was just lazy. The only thing she really truly attempted to excel in was technology and computers and that carried over to her early teens where she began to display odd abilities. She never had any real communication abilities with other Humans and yet she was able to completely understand technology to the point that it was scary. Her at the sofa seemingly staring off into space as the computer nearby surfed the internet while the video game character on the gaming console seemed to be manipulated by a ghost. All the while with her in the center of it all. Unlike most Marie wasn't effected socially by her emerging abilities since she lacked a social life almost altogether already and made no attempt of showing anyone her odd talent. Her parents noticed it though. Seeing their child's unnatural ability with electronics scared Marie's parents, they didn't understand what was happening and so they sent her to Doctors in London. Those Doctors sent her to Scientists and those Scientists sent her to the newly constructed metropolis. Marie willingly obliged.
In the City Marie thrived. Many technology focused corporations wanted to sponsor her in return for help with better understanding and developing their Tech. In the end one of the larger computer developing companies 'win-tech', bought her out and she was promptly sent to live in the 5th sector. The company though held out on her with the promise of only being moved to the 6th sector if she was able to rank in the top thirty. Currently she's number fourty-eight.
