Personality

Rowan is easy to get along with, he's not prejudice of race or species, nor is he particularly easy to make angry, infact, he makes an effort to be rather welcoming, though his eyes discourage most who approach him, he makes an effort to make friends, even if his appearance deters people. He is, as of yet, unsuccessful, but remains positive. He's not very fond of the overly confident person, however. And despite his broad shoulders and overall fighters build, Rowan would never raise his hands to anyone unless in necessary self defence, being a member of an abusive family, he prefers to take the hits opposed to dealing them.
Rowan dislikes the use of violence to settle an argument, and tends to leap into action when a weaker man is being kicked whilst he's down, he has a deeply unnerving fear of Pentagrams and such, his father would often carve them into his flesh when he was younger in order to 'Keep the devil out of him'.

History

Rowan is an Astral (Consider if a Neutral field between Angel and Demon, a bit of both but above human), who was raised in an abusive Demon Mother, Angel Father family that often shunned him for his refusal to take a certain path or right of passage. His Father was a functioning Alcoholic, who would severely beat him in order to 'toughen him up', and his mother, exposed him to the wrongs of the world at a terribly young age. Rowan ascended the Astral Path when he was but a boy of twelve, and developed his abilities a-tuned to it. Though he isn't the most powerful of his kind, his powers are certainly growing, and indeed his personality with it.
