Description and Background:
A young man who has risen quickly to his position. Originally an assistant in the Department for International Magical Cooperation, due to his keen intellect and sound judgement, he was soon promoted to head of the department. He was the first chose when the office of Minister became available in 1912.
He attended Hogwarts from 1897-1904 and was sorted into Hufflepuff house. Though he was well liked, Archer preferred to stay in his common room and study or prepare for his career in the ministry. During his school days he also became very good friends with a pen pal from the United States who would, coincidentally, become the President of the Magical Congress of the United States. Archer was also found to have a talent for healing spells and could frequently be found in the hospital wing helping the matron.
Known for being very kind and good-natured, Archer can also fierce when angered. He is quite stubborn once he has made up his mind and won't tolerate being overly questioned. He has also been known to snap when his orders go unfollowed.
As minister his most relevant action has been his emergency legislation forbidding all witches and wizards from interfering in the muggle world war.
