Ah, the great Vladaminsky Clan. Although, it isn't as great now. Before the stories of the Vladaminsky Clan -back when it was known as the 'Soni Clan' were recorded and told, there was a great war, the details still left unknown. But what was known, is that it was a war between man and creature - named Dactyls. Rumours stating that the neighbouring clan known as the Payemydii Clan had forced this war to happen. Pushing the damned creatures out of their home and forcing them to relocate in the mountains near the semi costal village of Shadopolis. The people were not trained to fight these creatures, and so, the Vladaminsky Clan had sunken down back into their capital. Shadopolis.

A strange being had appeared in the village, his origins and goals unknown. But had proved himself as a potent leader with his great inventions and designs. His name; Weilacca Vladaminsky.
Ever since Emperor Weilacca's arrival, the village of Shadopolis had changed. Small walls of angled sharpened wood logs surrounded the village, small wooden towers built around the area to work as lookout posts. And of course, a very important addition; Docks.
A 15 minute walk from Shadopolis would lead you to the docks, small wooden platforms built protruding off from the nearby beach, allowing many people to hunt for food with spears or a strange design of a stick with string attached with a worm on the end.

Ever since Weilacca's arrival, the Dactyls had kept at bay, allowing the village to rebuild and grow in order to survive...

All was calm, fishermen wondered back and forth with buckets full of fish to feed the villagers. It was a great season for fishing, all of the fish had come close to the cost for some reason, allowing them to be easily caught and taken.
But that wasn't all, many huts were being built as well, the population was growing fast as stray Shadonians stumbled apon the village. The wooden defences were being taken down and rebuilt at a further distance from the center to make up for the quick growth.
On the outskirts of the Shadopolis, inland, sat many kinds of huts. Each for their own purpose. Farming the tamed animals of the lands, hunting the massive tusked reptiles called "Newhts", and foraging the nearby forest for fruits. Everyone was being productive.
Even the leader, Weilacca, was sitting in the center building. He was working hard with his new inventions, along with the local scholar. It was a strange thing that looked like one of the bows that the watchmen held, but instead it was larger, and mounted on a large slab of wood. Still being in production, it is not recognisable, yet...

But what the Vladaminsky Clan didn't realise, was the quick growth of the dactyl population. This would become a major threat in time...

This year was one of the most famous years of history. Both being the year which bears the celebration of survival for Emperor Weilacca (21st birthday) and the beginning of the "Second Man Vs Dactyl War".
It all started on the eastern outskirts of Shadopolis. The largest seen flock of Dactyls of the time had been noticed, flying towards the town.

Side Note: Dactyls are massive reptiles. Basically described as a snake with four wings, they have a large head with massive teeth about the size of a Shadonian. The Dactyls themselves have a length of 2 miles with a wingspan of 1 mile.

The watchtower which had noticed the flock of dactyls reacted with the way they were trained to. Using a polish Newht scale (about the size of the head) to reflect light towards other watchtowers. This caused the other watchtowers to do the same to send the message across the towers towards the town of Shadopolis.

The town of Shadopolis had improved largely since the last year. The small wooden huts had been improved to contain stone foundations and built to be more durable, forming houses with thatched roofs. The main hut in the center of the town had been improved even further to become a large town hall, equipped with a large watchtower protruding from the middle of the roof.
The fortifications had been improved to become wooden walls, equipped with platforms where archers would patrol the perimeter. Of course, the number of housing and the size of the town had grown largely. Carts would be seen going towards the larger, more reinforced dockyard carrying a larger amount of fish which had been caught in crude nets. Other carts have been transporting wood and stone from the nearby forest and quarry.

The main watchtower had retreived the light message, warning of the Dactyl invasion. This gave a different reaction, a large horn built from a hollowed newht horn sounded as a large bust of sound. Warning the whole village and the docks of the invasion, Dactyls are attracted to food of course. Panic had filled the town, fishermen abandoned their posts and ran back towards the town as fast as their feet and carts could carry them. Women and children retreated into their homes while the men all took bronze spears, swords, shields and bows to defend the city. Archers clambered onto the walls while the footsoldiers gathered in the clear central area, holding their shields above their heads to both attract the dactyls to them while also protecting them.

Shadopolis
[Bold writing will be the real actions in history which has not been recorded]

"Stay in here." Weilacca ordered Lemanto the scholar and his advisors as he grabbed his sword. He was dressed in a sleeveless shirt with two leather strips around his body to form an X shape. Along with that, he wore black trousers and sandals. His hair was long and black, the left side spiking outwards with his fringe over his left eye. The back of his hair stretched down to his lower back.

Weilacca ran out of town hall, joining the group of soldiers in the center of the town. "Get prepared for this! Remember the drills and fight not for your lives, but for the lives of our race! We shall not face extinction!" He shouted, hearing the taunting shouts of the archers at the wall. Taunting was an effective work against the invading dactyls, loud shouts do seem to deter them.

On the walls, the archers were firing as fast as they could, trying to take out a large amount of Dactyls before they arrive. The massive serpents fell from the sky, slamming into the ground with large thumps as arrows flew into the sky, peircing the soft underbellies of the invaders.
However, this was not completely effective in the defence. The flock was too large to push away with arrows. They numbered in the 50's.

Back in the center of the city, spears were driven into the ground, the spearheads poking towards the sky. If the dactyls were to swoop down, they would suffer the stabbing of both the soldiers and the spears.
And that is exactly what happened. The flashing of the high sun reflecting off of the shields and spears proved that food was around. Causing the remaining 30-odd dactyls to swoop down, unaware of the new defence system. They screeched, shields pushing their large heads away and spears stabbing into their underbellies. Swords were swung, cutting into their tender bodies.
Several dactyls were killed where surviving ones returned to the skies. It was useless to swoop down again, too many were killed.

And so, the remaining dactyls retreated, some falling out of the sky as the archers continued their firing until the dactyls were out of range. It was a victory. But there were some losses. Some soldiers were pulled away by the survivors as they left the ground. Houses were crushed, giving civilian casualties. But there wasn't much damage except that.

The winners of the small battle celebrated, where some moarned the small number of losses. Carts were sent out of the town to pick up the dactyl corpses. They were a great source of food. But, Weilacca had an idea.

Dactyls had a great eyesight, how else would they easily notice a single soldier from the high skies? So, why not deter them with their own corpses? A few large wooden platforms were ordered to be built outside the city, all in the direction to the dactyls. The plan was to place the corpses on these platforms in the effort to tell the dactyls, "Don't mess with us."

That was the end of the beginning of the second man vs dactyl war. The town may be able to defend themselves against such large numbers of dactyls. But that wasn't all. Little do they know, the Dactyls have learned from the attack, and shall attack once more.
But, there is also the great planning that was being made inside the town hall. Labelled: "The Counterattack of Mankind."

10 years had passed since the second Man vs Dactyl war had begun. Within this time period, small attacks from the dactyls have occured at Shadopolis. This, in turn, had allowed the defense system to evolve. Large stone walls built far out from the large town, allowing growth and large defense. Massive stone towers were built around the walls, each equipped with Ballistae to take down the more intellegent dactyls. For they had learned of the Vladaminsky Clan's means of defense, and had acted against it.

Now, the great battle plan had been executed. "Mankind's Counterattack." 100 men of great training and skill were deployed to head out in the direction the dactyls appear from. Along with Lemanto, sent to gather information and research on these damned beasts, and Morganovicz, deployed to lead the attack. The group carried large amounts of wooden panels and iron beams, pulling them along in carts. These were important for the attack.

A week had passed since the deploy of the "Dactyl Exterminators". They suffered the extreme weather of the far inland, but still stood strong. But now, they had arrived at a massive mountain. The mountain itself had a blood red colour, why? It was freightening to see such a strange structure. Although, with further surveillance, it seemed that the mountain was moving. The red shifting around on the mountain. Was it a new creature? No. A massive, familiar screech said otherwise. This screech caused the red colour of the mountain to fly into the sky, the mountain wasn't red. The colour had changed to white/grey/brown as the red dots swarmed in the sky. They were dactyls, numbered in the thousands, no ten thousands. The men had reached the main dactyl colony at "Dactyl Mountain". Although, they seemed sluggish, hovering in the sky or even struggling to lift off. Were they interrupted from a deep sleep? It didn't matter, soon these assholes would swoop down. And so, the plan went into action.

The wooden panels were driven into the ground as a ring around the group, the panels themselves had organised holes drilled into them for spears. The iron poles were set up as supports for the wooden roof. It was the quick creation of a temporary fort. Soldiers stood around the edge, poking their spears out of the holes. Ready to defend.

The defense worked, dactyls smashed into the wood, cracking and splintering it, but they also fell to the ground. The spears had peirced their tender underbellies. Killing a large amount of dactyls. It wasn't long until the wood would break, though. And so, plan B came into action. The iron shields were placed around the perimeter of the circle, acting as a second layer. The soldiers who weren't defending the sides would hold their shields above their heads. Defending Lemanto and Morganovicz.
Finally, they broke through. The wood smashed and was pushed away as the dactyls rammed their heads into the shields. It wasn't a fight anymore. Just a game to see who would last the longest...

After long hours of defense, the dactyls retreated. About 100 corpses left on the ground, the small army itself suffered 23 losses. But it all wasn't over. These dactyls needed to be taught a lesson.

"How are we supposed to approach these guys? They would just attack again and the wood is smashed."
"These guys hate it when they see their dead, and they refuse to damage themselves." Lemanto replied, "I have noticed during the war that they would take in turns to prevent friendly fire. We just need to disguise ourselves. The dactyls make a slithering motion when they are on the ground, their wings outstretched. We can hide under some of the corpses while making the slithering motion. Even if they realise it is us, they would not attack."
"That's a great idea!" Morganovicz praised Lemanto, happy to hear the great suggestion. "Let's do this!"

Three dactyls were used, held above the soldier's heads as they make a very bad copy of the slithering motion. But it did not seem to grab the attention of the dactyls who had returned to the mountain.

It took some time, but they had finally reached the foot of the mountain. Dropping the corpses, the soldiers regrouped. Preparing to climb the mountain. But, there was a thud, along with another, and another, and another! The soldiers were surrounded. The dactyls slithered around them, hissing, but not attacking, why? But then, strange behaviour was shown, which was eagerly noted down by Lemanto. The dactyls moved out of the way to allow a very large, scar filled dactyl to appear. The alpha.
It hissed, staring at Morganovicz as if it new that he were the leader. The hiss turned into a screech as it stared into Morganovicz's eyes.
"FUCKING COME AT ME!" He shouted, stepping forward while holding his spear in the air. "DON'T FUCK WITH US! YOU LITTLE BIG SHITS!"
The alpha acted in a peculiar way to this action, backing away while hissing. But then, it opened it's massive mouth and a very familiar noise came out "SHI-SHI-SHITS!". It shouted, more like copied. Lemanto gasped and noted, he then explained that this copying is means of looking up to the group, or fearing the group. If there wasn't fear, then the dactyls would have wiped them out. The great discovery was soon acted on...

Shadopolis

Two months had passed since the deployment of the Dactyl Exterminators. It had already been assumed that the group had died, memorials placed in the courtyard with the citizens gathering daily to pay their respects.
But then, the warning horn was sounded. Dactyls were flying towards Shadopolis. The best soldiers were gone, it was useless to fight.
However, the group was small, and instead of attacking, they landed outside the walls. Archers stood there gawping at what they could see as the remaining 77 soldiers were allowed into the town. They had ridden the dactyls. Tamed them. It was a great feat and a massive advantage for the Vladaminsky.
And so, Morganovicz and Lemanto explained the stories of the dactyl alliance to Weilacca. Who listened, amazed. But didn't hesitate to give his new orders...

Shadopolis

Settlements were built around Shadopolis as the Vladaminsky clan repopulated the abandoned lands. Now that the dactyls were on their side, the Vladaminsky had nothing standing in their way of expansion. The settlements were connected via guarded roads as the population grew dramastically. And soon, the founding of the heavy farming town "Dergat" had appeared. Supplying the new Vladaminsky Kingdom with vast amounts and sources of food, using the new farming and irrigation strategies, invented by Weilacca of course.

Finally, Dactyl Mountain was populated. A large structure build on the side, planned to stretch around the whole mountain, the name; "Fort Dactyl". It was the source of Dactyl breeding and rider training, it also gave a great lookout over the lands.
The most important thing which had been noted was the strange settlement seen on the horizon. The Payemyndii Clan who had caused all of these events had shown themselves yet again...

Although, Dactyl flying had allowed the Vladaminsky Clan to create a map of their surroundings. Although, The dactyls seem to refuse to fly too far from their mountain.

Uninhabited lands

After the strange discovery of some kind of city, Weilacca had been filled with great feelings. It was the greatest discovery since the Payemyndii Clan appeared in their lives before he was born. And for his research, it is best to pay a visit, with a small group of troops and dactyls of course. Just in case the Vladaminsky Clan's peaceful greetings are disregarded.
And so, Weilacca and Morganovicz had left the large town of Shadopolis to meet the group. With them, 100 troops bearing iron spears and large square shields pulling a couple carts of supplies were present. Along with 5 dactyl riders, thick wooden panels strapped to the underbellies of the dactyls with means to protect their weak spot. It was estimated, from the crude maps made, that the group would arrive withing 2 months.
What Weilacca did not think about, was the upcoming winter, which would be more dangerous than the others.

Vladaminsky Kingdom
7,002 BRT

It was the year of the coming of age for the two royal heirs to the throne of the Vladaminsky Clan. Before Weilacca's leave, the two children were introduced to the people. For it is tradition for royal heirs to be kept out of existence until they had reached their coming of age (21).
Alekzandra made her existence acknowledged by travelling the kingdom, greeting the surrounding settlements to implant them into her mind.
Domakeo on the other hand took advantage of being royalty. He toyed with the garrison of Shadopolis as if they were his own pawns. Ordering them to show off their formations in which they had learned over their career, questioning them for all details on the reasons, actions and weaknesses. One formation which had caught his attention was the "Turtle Formation". It was the same formation used in the second man vs dactyl war.

"Why do you need all of that wood?" Domakeo asked,
"Because it's strong and defended us."
"But the dactyls aren't a problem anymore..."
"They might rise up"
"I doubt it, they are creatures who accepted our superiority. Besides, they would have to find a new colony since it would be impossible to break through our heavy fortifications on Dactyl Mountain."
"But-"
"Why don't you just use two layers of shields on the sides and top with spears poking out of all sides, that wuld make the Turtle Formation both mobile and strong. You could even have archers inside to fire through the gaps."
"That sounds like something against beings other than the dactyls."
"That's the point, what if the Payemyndii attack? We could use that."
"I doubt it, now we have to get back to our posts. Leave the strategics to your father."

A month had passed since Weilacca's diplomatic leave. The air had gotten colder and a strange white substance had begun to cover the land. This was a symbol that the cold intolerant Shadonian race would face deaths everywhere. Leikian worshippers had already begun their chanting, claiming the white substance to be the 'anti-blessing' of the demons. Claiming it is the source of the cold which will bring great suffering, blaming the 'demon messengers' AKA the dactyls for this to occur.
Most people ignored the religious chants, but some had begun moving on to the divinity of the beliefs.
Large fires were made throughout Shadopolis and other settlements in the aim to keep the populace warm. This was effective for some, but there wasn't enough room to safely build more fires without burning the thatched housing. People had already begun wearing several layers of clothing, while still shivering with a small amount of people dropping down. Dead...

Strange City
7,002 BRT

The group had finally arrived at the strange city after two months of travelling. Seeing a massive stone wall blocking their path. What could they do? Well, the orders were to walk around the perimeter of the wall hoping to find an entrance, of course, they stayed close to keep the King safe. 3 dactyls landed to slither along with the group while 2 flew over the walls to spot an entrance, or life.

After a few hours of wondering around, the group finally approached a large gate, manned by some guards, similar to the Shadonian morphology, wearing leather armour with a strange crest, completely different to the simply crest carved and coloured into the Vladaminsky shields. Is this another Clan? The two flying dactyls were called back with a couple load barks from one of the slithering ones, allowing them to land and slither back into formation behind the group. The group were ordered to relax their stance, but stay on standby in an attempt to seem less threatening. The Dactyls even lowered their heads to the ground to seem more peaceful.

Weilacca and Morganovicz stepped forward and both bowed. Holding in that position for a few moments before they raised back up. "Gara'aytaeenaga. Wa'ay ackra da'ay Vladaminsky Kinagada'oma. Wa'ay ca'oma'ay eena pa'ayca'ay. Ta'ayk osa da oo'ayock Keenaga." Weilacca spoke, trying to sound as calm as possible, hiding his excitement.
[Weilacca said: "Greetings. We are the Vladaminsky Kingdom. We come in peace. Take us to your leader."]

"Oi! What's that over tha', mate?"
"Probably just another deer, or something."
"Nop' that ain't it, friend. Unless deers naw have weapons and armor."
"Raider?"
"Ma'be, but it doesn't seem lik' it."
"Give me that"
"Tha' ya go, right ovah there, see?"
"Ah. Must be those colonists folks."
"Co'onists?"
"You really need to start reading the billboard."
"I'a do that when I lea'n how to read."

Soon, the forest scouts, or "Rabbits" as they were called by most of the guards, would send a mail bird, delivering a message to the captain of the wall guard. And from there every guard on the wall were quickly informed of the slowly arriving force that would be at there gates. Rumors had spread of these colonists, which had quickly spread over in the northern lands. And in a town of many taverns, information is something that doesn't lack.

The guards quickly oiled up any levers and pieces which were part of the gate wall elevators. Making sure the pieces were all in check and well fitted before sending a few men down. Only two of these wooden platforms, closed from every side, and now with ten in each, were currently used. The soldiers laughed and joked around, and poked fun of one of the newbies in their ranks, obviously not concerned with what could happen next. And as the platforms touched the ground, they opened the front door of the elevator, and stepped out. One men from each of the elevators pulled on the rope, notifying them that it was ready to go up.

While they waited, the guards continued with their usual jokes and their laughs, resting against the gate. Not many women were in this band, only two. But even so, most wouldn't identify them as women from their first glance. They were as muscled and large as the men, and their speech was just as unrefined as it was for most of the mercs. While the wall guard prepared for the arrival of these folks, the King's council made their own preparations. The five families have heard the rumors, and although most rumors were just ridiculous tales coming from the mind of a drunken traveller, this one seemed too coherent to be so. And from the messages of some scouts, it seemed to possibly be correct. But, from what the current message - relayed to the council members by the captain of the wall guard - had stated, the Kohla familiy seemed to be familiar with these people. A few of the same species lived in the city, and the mother of the current heads of the Kohla guild beared resemblence to them.

Te'Zhar sighed, carefully placing the message on a table next to him, and getting up from his seat. Calmly, he placed a black leather bind book back on one of the many shelves of this private library of his. He was about to make his way to the wall, to investigate this situation. But of course, Isidora was not one to let her brother go anywhere without her knowing.

"Te'Zharrrrr, where are you going?"
"Wall."
"Whyyyy?"
"Council duties."
"Which one is thisssss?"
"Unknown party."
"Great! Let's go!"

He shruged and moved along, knowing well enough that it was impossible to convince his sibling of doing otherwise. And so, taking her sword off of its mount, she happily followed her older sibling.

Not long after, they were on the wall. This unknown party had already arrived, from the looks of it. Although anyone on top of the wall wouldn't be able to understand what was going on. Down on the ground, the soldiers were chuckling a bit - they found the way these people were armored hilarious. And then one of them spoke.

"Gara'aytaeenaga. Wa'ay ackra da'ay Vladaminsky Kinagada'oma. Wa'ay ca'oma'ay eena pa'ayca'ay. Ta'ayk osa da oo'ayock Keenaga."

Once again, they laughed. One of them - which was too big to be human - even wiping a tear of their eye. They found their language ridiculous, and of course this lead them to laugh. The only one not laughing was the newbie, which was visibly nervous. One of the soldiers gave him a pat on the back, trying to calm him down. "Ay! Calm down, hatchling." Now, the soldiers had no idea what these people were saying, and even though they were sure that their language would be alien to them, they responded. "We have no clue whatcha' sayin', stranger."

But, to their luck, someone had come down the elevator, a random messenger, who promptly delivered a message to one of their soldiers. After reading half of the message, he walked up to the man who had just spoken, delivering the message to him. The second half of the letter was written in Shadonian, it had a few errors, but was readable.

"What is your business with Akernum?"

Of course, the messenger also walked up to this man, holding up an ink bottle and a feather, awaiting a response.

The messenger took the letter before walking back to the elevator, and being pulled back up. The soldiers waved as the messenger went, then continuing their conversations, sharing stories as they waited for the next order or message. It didn't take long for the messenger to come back down, and with him two other lifts were let down. He spoke to the soldiers, which entered two of them. The letter was immediately given to the same man as before, this time it was all in Shadonian.

"If you wish to speak with me, go into the third lift, with a maximum of three other persons - since I know not what you carry, more could be prove too much for our lifts to carry. If this agreement displeases you, shake your head at the messenger, and the lifts will go on without you, then you will be allowed to leave."

The messenger walked into the third lift, the one which would also be mean for a small party if they accepted. The soldiers had not yet closed the doors of their own lifts, waiting for the reaction of the party. Just in case the strangers tried anything funny.

At the top of the wall, waited Te'Zhar, and at his side, Isidora - and of course several guards. Te'Zhar was a medium height, calm, composed, young-looking man of lean build. Brown in hair, and eye of blue hue. Like always, was holding a book near his chest, and his eyes scanning it; the one he was reading was a small pocket book - he always had three in case of these situations. In his other had, he had a staff slight bigger than him, well it was more like a scythe, having four blades on the end. But in truth, he wasn't a very proficient fighter, prefering to stick to his book. He had a neutral, or maybe even bored look. Dressed finely in a grey-ish robe, made from excellent thread. One his shoulder resting a similar colored cloak. Both on the cloak, and on a chest pin, was the crest of his guild. A crow with an omega behind it. The omega in gold, and the crow being pitch-black.

Isidora, on the other hand, was excited as always. She could never stay still! Performing slight hops from side-to-side. She was also lean in build, but her eyes seemed unlike her sibling's. Her eyes were also blue in color, but they had a different look. Not a look of disinterest, like Te'Zhar, but instead of bubbly excitement! Pink of hair, and slightly shorter - and also younger - than her brother. She was dressed in fine leather armor. A long cloak emerged from her shoulders, as well. It was brown in color, and held the same symbol as Te'Zhar's. She had a military issued knife strapped to her leg, just like every other soldier. But both her long sword and short sword were of much better quality, a quality only fitting for such an excellent duelist.

"So. Te'Zhar, why couldn't I go down with them?"
"Dangerous."
"Sooooo? I'm sure I could kill a dozen in one swoop!"
"No hostile activity."
"Sooooo?"
"No need for violence."
"Well. Yeah! But still... you're no fun."
"Second heir to the guild, and important tactician."
"WHAAAT!? You really think so!?"

Te'Zhar nodded nonchalanty, this was followed by a rather tight hug from his sister, to which he only reacted with a pat on her head.

"If you wish to speak with me, go into the third lift, with a maximum of three other persons -since I know not what you carry, more could be too much weight. If this agreement displeases you, shake your head at the messenger, and the lifts will go on without you, and you will be allowed to leave." Those were the words of the reply, written on the letter. Again, the punctuation and spelling needs a bit of work.

Weilacca looked around, and gave a little thought. Three other persons... "Morganovicz, you're with me. Everyone else stay on standby. Dactyls, prepare for defensive flight. I want three of you in the air by the time I reach the top." Weilacca, ordered. The soldiers gave their salute by banging their fists against their chest. Three dactyls prepared for liftoff, it was means of defense which should be outlined to their leader.

And so, Weilacca and Morganovicz walked into the lift. Weilacca kept his hand on the hilt of his sword, Morganovicz gripped his halberd.
The lift begun raising with a quick jolt, it was great craftsmanship. If only Weilacca brought his notes with him, he could easily copy this great device.

Once the three reached the top, three dactyls flew upward and kept hovering nearby the walls. The riders were equipped with bows and a large quiver of arrows. The dactyls had wooden panels strapped to their underbellies, the tail had iron spikes strapped around them.
"Ah, you must be the leader! I apologize for the dactyls, it's just a defensive maneuvour." Weilacca spoke out to the two people, directing his speech towards the one who was reading. The overly excited one seemed too much like how Weilacca is feeling, so obviously can't be a leader.

"Ah, you must be the leader! I apologize for the dactyls, it's just a defensive maneuvour." As their spokesperson had finally arrived, along with a guard and three flying beasts with riders, he had been the first to speak. This seemingly didn't affect Te'Zhar in anyway, but Isidora was getting more-and-more excited, as a few beasts flew behind this man.

Te'Zhar only bothered to take a quick glance of the situation, before shaking his head and going back to his book. He spoke in a soft, quiet-ish voice, devoid of most emotion. "Flying creatures are for show..." He stated, before taking a brief pause to turn the page of his book. "Creatures would manage to take many lives, but with the number of soldiers present, you would also be dead." Looking around, one could see that the several men and women working on the wall didn't seem as preocupied with the beasts as they were with the individuals, as they had trust in their brethren managing large, wall mounted crossbows. "Point of defense is to avoid damage, not provoke damage after it has been done."

At this point, Isidora decided to give some insight on the situation. "Can I have one?" She said happily, and excitedly as she eyed the flying beasts, picturing herself as the rider of one, armed with a spear worthy of a knight!

Te'Zhar simply pat her on the head, as his glance was stolen by the man. "You said you wished to speak." Stated Te'Zhar, reminding him of the reason we was on the wall in the first place.

This guy... He seemed experienced. But that was quite insulting to assume one's intentions, he must've not seen the agility and power of these dactyls. But that didn't matter.

Weilacca wondered towards the two, smiling in a very inviting way. Morganovicz, however, seemed pissed off. Glaring at the annoying pink haired girl as he walked very close to his king.
After the insults, the pink haired girl spoke.
"Of course you can have one, as long as it isn't used as a weapon against us. Although, I doubt it would accept a non-Vladaminsky." Weilacca spoke out towards the girl, ignoring her excitedness. He then turned to the man.
"Man, there is no need to be all reserved! But yeah, I did want to speak. Seeing as my scouts and map makers had found this place, I decided to pay a visit as it is nothing like the other Clans we have encountered." He explained, but then giggled a little, "How silly of me, I didn't introduce myself. I am Weilacca Vladaminsky, king of the Vladaminsky Kingdom." He held his hand out to the man, "I hope we enter a new age of peace and prosperity together, where we shall co-exist on this land; Shadonika. It is a pleasure to meet you."
He paused a little and waited for the leader's hand to reach his. But then realised that his hands were full. And so, Weilacca giggled in embarrassment and pulled his hand back to rest it on the hilt of his sword.

"Shall we, converse? Y'know, diplomatic stuff. Being an isolated Kingdom where there are about 4 other clans and this nation of Akernum-or-something is quite claustrophobic. Don't you think? We have... Weapons, hide, scales and food to offer. Along with wine, cotton and other stuff that makes people happy." Weilacca spoke on, trying to make a conversation, trying to sound friendly. Although, Morganovicz wasn't helping. Removing the dactyls from the scene to stop the insults was best aswell, so they were signalled to return to the group.
