The King's younger brother and second in line to the throne.
Personality:
Foppish and vain, Lucenzio is nonetheless a shrewd judge of character and surprisingly intelligent given his character. As the second in line to the throne he has become somewhat lazy, with little to motivate him he tends to spend his days idly and is perfectly happy to live the privileged existence of the king’s brother. Lucenzio’s forte is finance and management of the day to day affairs of the government.
Generous and affable, Lucenzio is well liked by his friends, though his lack of patience and tendency to gossip and make jokes at others’ expense has led his enemies to outnumber his friends in the court. He has little patience for fools and will not hesitate to insult those who he feels earn that title. Though he appreciates the intricacies of court life he tends to be blunt and straightforward in his interactions, believing that it earns him respect. Unlike his elder brother Richter, who still retains a savage edge and his deformed younger brother Jamie, Lucenzio is often said to be suited to the life of a noble. He has no ambition to take his brother's place, seeing the responsibilities of running the nation as 'a hassle'.

Biography:
The middle brother of the de Valois family, Lucenzio was born into poverty wit his brothers and the rest of the Chuda gypsies, living hand to mouth in the lower plains of Valania. They were constantly hounded and pursued by the Rydar (Valania’s other native residents) wherever they went, forcing them to live off the land in dissolute clans. Lucenzio became a father at the age of only 16. His first wife died of disease when the brothers fled to Sarife, leaving the man to care for their child.
Lucenzio’s skill lay in his cunning and wits and he was the one to organise the armies when it came time for the brothers to lay siege to Valania. When the Chuda and their Sarifen allies took control of the nation, Lucenzio took great pleasure in seizing the assets of those who had opposed and oppressed their people for so long. Following the successful coup, Richter appointed his brother Count of the Amres region.
Recently Lucenzio has found himself enamoured with one of the ladies of the court, the young Margaret Valentia and the two have become engaged.
