Derrick released the staff, and quickly pulled his foot away, "You still carry that blessed toothpick?" he asked. He could sense Apollyon not to far off, the demon wasn't joining in the fight, that must have meant that he as doing something else.

Chloe didnt even glance at Eva. Her blonde hair fell in her face as she agreed with a nodd.

"Well, Coward," Michael spat, "for once you seem to have put thought into your actions, but yet again you have proceeded to make one fatal mistake. While you occupy yourself with vengence toward me, the shards of the stone are scattering. Two of them are currently falling into the hands of a Demon. I believe your quarrel is as much with him as it is with me. While I'm more than happy to end your existence now, perhaps a prolonging is necessary before the girls are out reach to both of us."

The thought of demons obtaining the jewel upset Ophiel as much as the angels getting it. But then the thought of them taking it to Lucifer made the thought that much worse. "You were once my brother. So I will help you to to rid this town of every demon. Even I know that the jewel can't fall into the hands of Lucifer. Once we kill all the demons and safe the girls, we will continue this fight. And know that I will kill you. But for now we have a demon to hunt."

Ophiel disbaned the shadow blades that encircled them. The demons were the closest things he had to allies but it was he who deserved the jewel not them. If a chance presented itself he would take Michael out as well. But for now he had to side with an angel. It was almost enough to make him sick.

Azariel picked up the staff and smiled "Yes i carry a walking stick blessed by the almighty himself. And you still use the tricks of shadow to hide your cowardice." He saw ophiel and micheal stop fighting and heading down the street. He was confused but he had to disengage with this demon first. He kicked off and took to the air. He followed them in the air and he saw the angel of the abyss another angel who sided with lucifer when he rebeled and because he did he was charged to guarding the abyss as a punishment. It was not usual to see him from his post. He landed on the roof and pulled his crossbow from his pack it followed him cause they were bound together. He loaded the crossbow and watched to see if he would have to count micheal among the fallen or what was going on.

apollyon sensed the angel moving toward him and could see the other on the roof but he knew he had to move. He lifted both girls and he ran faster then any human could until he got to his warehouse and there he would stay. "Ladies i have a confession i need you to hear and for your sake i hope you understand me i don't have time."

Chloe closed her eyes and kept them shut as he carried them to a warehouse. And when he wanted to say a confession, she narrowed her eyes at him think about what he might say.

Derrick smiled to himself, angels where stupid, while Micheal the "favorite" of God was fighting with Ophiel, Apollo had managed to get close... real close to the girls, three of the four. His ankle hurt from where Azariel had twisted it, human bodies where so weak. He dissapeared into the shadows, leaving behind a cloud of darkness that would blind Micheal from seeing what was going on, that is if Ophiel hadn't killed him yet. Those two always hated each other. The demon followed Azariel as he ran, Lucifer would be very pleased, for him to deliver the girls so quick and with the shards unharmed! He stayed in the shadows, not wanting to come out just yet, he listened at Apollo started to speak. "Ladies i have a confession i need you to hear and for your sake i hope you understand me i don't have time." the girl named Chloe seemed suspicious of the Demon, Derrick let out a laugh that echoed through the building.

He appeared behind Chloe, and tapped her on the shoulder, "There is no escape..." he whispered into her ear, walking around the girls he went to stand by Apollo, crossing his arms over his chest he smiled, "Very nice work..." he told his friend, "You saved a lot of time,"

Apollyon smiled "Now i must confess i am not entirely a good man or a man at all. I am Apollyon fallen angel guardian of the abyss. Now i don't want to kill you but there are those who will. YOu have a jewel peice inside you and i need it. If you give it to me willingly you can leave alive and continue about your lifes never to be bothered by us ever again." he turned to his partner "Derrick where you followed?"

Chloe, barely surprised stood there with her arms crossed. She only flinched when the new comer whispered h=in her ear. She recognized him and just looked him up and down. Without turning to Apollyon, she said. "And where exactly is this jewel peice located inside me?"

Apollyon smiled "They are within your heart but as long as you give it to me willingly i won't have to cut them from your chest so are you willing?"

Azareal smiled and laughed. He had been following each other.

While he said this, Chloe felt the place over her heart, and then went back to crossing her arms. "Im not sure....."

Apollyon frowns a bit "I promise you on the very soul in my body if you even feel any pain when i pull it from you then you can have one finger of mine and rip it off."

Chloe laughed lightly, "I bet It wouldnt even hurt you." She sighed " I need to think about it..."

Ophiel had no time to wait for Michael's response. During the time they talked he sensed that Derrick had met up with Apollyon. He also knew at least two of the girls were in their grasps. Like many times before, Ophiel sunk into the shadows and raced toward the two, arriving not long later. He arrived at the scene of Apollyon and one of the girls talking. He didn't hear all of it but he heard the demon's deal.

"The only problem with that, Apollyon, is that if she removed it from her heart she could very well die," he said as he presented himself to everyone. "And im not sure if I can just let you have the jewel either. After all, chances are that you will go and give it to Lucifer. That is something I can not allow. I will not let you kill these girls to fuel his ambition," Ophiel announced. He looked back and forth at Apollyon and Derrick. He knew this could only end in a fight.

Apollyon laughed "YOu know nothing of this ordeal do you? You traitorous bastard. She won't die as long as she gives it willingly. What ophiel do you think the odds favor you in this fight? Im a fallen just like you ophiel only difference i have excepted my fate."

"Would both of you just knock it off! Jeez, you fight more than teenage GIRLS!" Chloe huffed "How do I know this process wont kill me. And I will not just take your word for it."
