At first glance, anyone could see the unusual spiky blue hair style he possesses today. Many people who look at his young face will usually think that he's your average seventeen year old outside of combat. Most times, his face would look rather glum and somewhat childish depending on how the person sees it. His slightly small brown eyes also help build up this visual misconception of him. But in combat, his face is even more dark and tense under the pressure of possible death. For his age, he is a little shorter than his peers which makes most people think he would be your average weakling. However, his training in the Tenshin Muto Style has him strengthen his lower body area for more speed and increase in attacking power. Thus, his legs are slightly developed for speed and to generate power to make up for his lack of muscle in the upper body area. But despite that he has less muscle there, his forearms are also slightly developed as a result of swinging suburitos, bokutos, and iaito (blunt katanas) for practicing his style. His body is full of scars from combat experience against thugs, yakuzas, and real martial artists like him. The rough calluses on his hands and feet are a result of swinging the sword and rough erratic footwork for thirteen long years of his training.

For clothing he usually wears a full set indigo hakama. Though, it would be more correct that the top part is indigo and the bottom is a very dark blue compared to the hue. He does wear sneakers, but the soles are thinner than normal so that he could fully utilize his footwork more easily. At the left side of his hips, he usually has a full daisho pair of a katana and a wakizashi. When it comes to practice, he brings along only bokutos, the blunt iaitos, or just a single suburito. But when it comes for real combat, he brings a full battle-ready combat katana which was passed down from his master. When it comes for very hot days, he usually just wears a black t-shirt which is tight upon his chest and a cargo shorts for the sake of relieving himself from the heat and also more mobility. Which also brings into mind that he wears normal white slippers instead of his usual sneakers. When it comes to formal wear, he has a separate full white hakama for the special days. Usually for pajamas, Saito just goes to bed wearing only a tank-top and a pair of boxers as it feels much more comfortable and more mobile than compared to the other articles of clothing.

If one word could explain his personality, it'd be blunt. Yes. Blunt, and very straightforward to the point people could hate him. He won't lie to you about what he think of you, but he does provide some advice to help people improve whatever. Definitely he does sometimes hold back when he absolutely needs to. One can easily tell that he got his personality majorly from his master's care. It has been shown that he's someone who will respect what people tend to believe in and respect their beliefs as it was also in one of the style's teachings. In combat, his whole point of view is concentrated at the task at hand and never jokes around at all. He rarely shows any mercy as a result of all the teachings of war and the sword his master hammered inside his brain. No matter what happens in combat, he always stays resolute. Though there are very few times when he could be shaken. Very few. One of his pet peeves are thugs and gangsters. He believes a good many of them get people involved with their own petty business of territory and respect. In fact, he looks down on them and believes they're all worth trash.

Saito has been shown to be a huge fan of Nana Mizuki and has a poster picture of her plastered on his room which he proudly displays it. He's also a partial otaku (I'm sure you guys know what that is) which he desperately does his best to hide that fact as he doesn't want people to make fun of his leanings. Though, he's more scared of his master finding out, who tends to be even more annoying than most people he ever knew. Saito is known to be a fanatic for curry and cream cheese. Especially curry bread. He attempts to add curry and cream cheese into all of his meals.

When meeting up with new people, he is rather... impartial. Sure, he'll show some manners and so forth... But, to gain his entire respect, you have to prove that you're strong in his eyes. In normal days, he would just either meditate, train, or study. Each divided evenly on that day with sleep, meals, and school time added together. Training, he believes, is a sacred ritual to strengthen one's soul and therefore, he looks down on those who use drugs like steroids or the like to get strength instead more than others.

Fighting Style: Saito learned the Tenshin Muto Ryu which teaches its students how to use a sword while also teaching them to poke at the eyes or the neck, kick the enemy away when needed to increase the range between the practitioner and the enemy, and some grappling when close up. His body figure is more shaped to be a speedster. However, he can make up for his lack of muscles to hit just much damage as those with them by having a good amount of bodily control over his muscles and his joints. By having such control, all of his movements are all heavily based on efficiency. He uses his head to fight his opponents and utilizes all sorts of strategies to win, no matter how dirty. After all, in combat, everything goes... Right?

History

Saito came from a long line of Japanese exorcists that spanned from the Edo era til now. All of them were very proficient swordsmen/women. Ever since he was four, Saito took up the family's style, Tenshin Muto Ryu. For those long thirteen years of training, he already had some experience dealing with low-level demons at the moment and some medium-level, of course with some help of his family. Ever since then, he joined True Cross Academy and studied to pass the exams. Which, he thankfully did and became an ex-wire.
