"Unfortunately I'm going to suggest that you stay inside the house for a few days. No going out what so ever. I heard a conversation between a man and yourself on the phone. I believe he is here for personal reasons with intent to harm you." So Dean was in town. Great. That was just what Cas needed. She felt numb as Arturo carried on speaking.

"He is nowhere near the house at the moment hopefully he has spoke to no one who knows where you are. To be safe I would limit contact with friends, if he knows who your friends are he may try to hurt them to get to you. " Arturo rubbed the back of his neck and sighed softly "If you prefer I can confront the man in question and deter him from coming near you again. Or I can kill him. Whichever suits you. I've known I've had to protect you since I brought you here. I didn't expect things to come to fruition this quickly."

"No. Don't kill him." Cas snapped when she realised what Arturo was offering to do. "Don't kill him," she repeated, her voice softer. "He's not worth it. Not worth the trouble. I can't stay in here all the time. Claire would start asking too many questions, and then so would everyone else. I'll be careful and stay away from him, and if he- if Dean starts any trouble, you'll know and we can go from there."

" No. Don't kill him." Cas Snapped at him, why should this have struck a nerve with her? Did she still have feelings for this person? ,Don't kill him," she repeated, her voice softer. Arturo listened carefully as she went on to explain.

"He's not worth it. Not worth the trouble. I can't stay in here all the time. Claire would start asking too many questions, and then so would everyone else. I'll be careful and stay away from him, and if he- if Dean starts any trouble, you'll know and we can go from there."

Arturo clenched his fists a little growling softly, she was in danger and he had to do something!. He couldn't allow her to go outside with the danger of him around. Did she not understand this was for her own safety?

" Look I'm trying to keep you safe, you have to do as a say so we can work things out. It might not be safe for you. He has your phone number right? He could use that against you.. Two minutes." He paused as he walked out of the room opening a cubpaord and pulling out a small box. Walking back to cassandras room he handed her the box, inside was a brand new phone.

" Here. use this from now on, don't give anyone the number until we are certain that this Dean character is safe. Please. If your not going to stay in here like I suggested just do this." He explained his eyes softening. He didn't want to loose his temper.

"Look I'm trying to keep you safe, you have to do as I say so we can work things out. It might not be safe for you. He has your phone number right? He could use that against you.. Two minutes."

Cas waited, her arms crossed across her chest. She was perfectly capable of looking after herself. If she had never met Arturo, she would be able to deal with Dean on her own. Now Arturo was complicating things. She knew Dean, she knew how he worked, she knew how to work him. Arturo knew none of that. She wasn't exactly sure she wanted to be taking orders from a man who still thought murder was a viable option.

Arturo came back in with a box. She held out a hand and took it from him. Opening the box, she found a new phone inside.

"Here. use this from now on, don't give anyone the number until we are certain that this Dean character is safe. Please. If your not going to stay in here like I suggested just do this."

Cas raised an eyebrow as she pocketed the phone. "Dean will be safe when he's out of town. I'll avoid him, trust me, spending any time with him is right at the bottom of my list. But if we're dealing with Dean, we remember that this is the twenty first century, and you are not settling this on my behalf in some stupid battle to the death or whatever it was they did when you were human. We deal with Dean, not you, since you're insisting on being involved."

Cas ran her hand through her hair. "Thanks for the phone."

Arturo was in fact a little gobsmacked when Cassandra streamed off at him, not in anger but in defiance that was so driven it reminded him of arguments with his wife. The kind that would leave him blank after she would have a go at him.

After that Cassandra thanked him for the phone, his mouth was still open in surprised, he actually didn't know what to say.

He pointed at her trying to find a word " you know what? I've never met someone like you since..." He paused his eyes a little watery " well you just be carefully any trouble you call me...your welcome." He walked off wiping his eyes from tears. He still didn't understand women.
