Alex has the ability to alter, and to a degree control, the flow of time. Using this ability he can speed up, slow down, even stop or reverse time. This also grants him limited precognition. Unfortunately Alex has almost no control over his power, meaning that he is often sees the world as it was or will be at some point in the past or future. While he probably could travel through time, he has no way of knowing when he would end up. In theory, if used too much, this could push time to a sort of "breaking point", after which anything from the timestream correcting itself by erasing Alex entirely, too simply being destroyed and ruining the world as we know it, could happen. Either way, he is not keen on testing this theory.

Skills/Talents: Alex is a fairly skilled mathematician. He'd also make a reasonably good psychologist.

Personality:
Alexander is constantly nervous, very intelligent, socially clueless, and far too introspective for his own good. He tries to be as nice as he can to everyone, but is not a very social person when it comes to making friends, however if he actually does manage to make any he will gladly follow them to the ends of the earth. Whenever anything goes wrong he will attempt to come up with a reason that it is his fault, whether that reason actually makes sense or not. Rather meek, he avoids confrontations as best as he can, as they bother him greatly, and is overly apologetic. Alex is usually willing to do as others ask and has a strong respect for authority.

Despite the fact that he is a bit overly sensitive, it is incredibly difficult to make him angry. If one does manage to however, his attitude changes completely, becoming very cold and annoyed. At this point he will usually verbal dissect the other person's personality, calmly pointing out their flaws and failings, until his anger wears off and he reverts to a more normal state of mind. After which he'll apologize profusely to anyone involved in the conversation.

History:
Alex was born the only child of a very wealthy couple in the metropolis of Atreus. His power has been since a problem very early on, made worse by the fact that his father is a very anti-Parahuman politician. Alex had no ability to hide his power but thankfully it had very few noticeable effects, other than Alex's occasional attempts at avoiding obstacles that weren't there at the time, the odd shifting of the light, and the bizarre comments he makes. He has recently been sent to Atreus Academy for the purpose of learning to control his ability.
Miscellaneous:
Alex is absolutely terrified that some future version of himself will come back in time to kill him, causing a paradox. This causes an adverse reaction to seeing a mirror when he isn't expecting to.
