Introduction
The Queen Anne’s Lace lying like lilies
On water; it glides
So from the walker, it turns
Dry grass to a lake, as the slightest shade of you
Valleys my mind in fabulous blue Lucernes.
The beautiful changes as a forest is changed
By a chameleon’s tuning his skin to it;
As a mantis, arranged
On a green leaf, grows
Into it, makes the leaf leafier, and proves
Any greenness is deeper than anyone knows.
Your hands hold roses always in a way that says
They are not only yours; the beautiful changes
In such kind ways,
Wishing ever to sunder
Things and things’ selves for a second finding, to lose
For a moment all that it touches back to wonder.
-Richard Wilbur

Re: [OOC] Beautifly Scarred
you can take one of the male spots, and yeah your right i'll change the rp a little bit
Re: [OOC] Beautifly Scarred
This doesn't mean that the RP isn't still salvageable, however. Pokemon have proven time and again to be more emotionally complex than most people give them credit for. (This is even mentioned in-universe: One of the story books in the Canalave Library mentions that Pokemon and humans were once so alike that they even "sat at table together", a bowdlerization--look it up, you'll be one word smarter, as my grandfather used to say--of the concept of humans and Pokemon wedding.) Simply change the plot to fit the title in accordance with the new rule stating that titles "must meet publishing guidelines": It can still be romance-based, it would just have to involve some playing with some possible answers to the question "What do Pokemon do in the wild when Trainers aren't stomping around looking for them?" Just a thought.
Still, as much as I realize romance has gotten a bit of a bum rap, and knowing that Game Masters have to have at least some degree of passion for their vision in order to put it up onto the tab system, I suppose I could try to take one of the male slots. (Don't worry, I won't make a Pokemon, though given what I see in the summary about psychic powers, it wouldn't be out of the question to my way of thinking.) I do, however, heartily disagree with the idea that each character HAS to end up in a relationship with a certain other character. This stuff must develop naturally as the logical result of events in the plot and the characters deciding that this is best for both of them, not forced upon them by the game master.
