Quiet, nature loving shape-shifter. Exiled from her home in Ireland.
A quiet, nature crazy 17 year old Irish lass. She spends most of her time day-dreaming, reading, dancing, singing, writing music, and simply walking in the sun surrounded by nature, content with life. She is more a musical, artistic, dancing type than scholarly; she loves to learn, but it is not her best nor favorite thing to do. She is usually very quiet; hardly ever talks. Very kind to strangers and acquaintances alike. But, she does have the famous Irish temper, setting her off very easily; not exactly making her, err..."talent" any easier.

Mother's side-saddle; a birthday gift.
She was considered the most beautiful lass in the county down; she really didn't care much for all her suitors, and this brought about all the trouble. When she was 16, she fell in love with Hoyt Cian ó Coileáin. He too was a shape-shifter. Once they were both madly in love, Hoyt said they should elope; he was a lowly orphaned blacksmith apprentice, and she was the most coveted girl in the county. They both knew they weren't going to get Blair's parents blessing, so they came up with a plan. But Hoyt knew he couldn't be with her safely when she was a human; he asked her to allow him to change her into a shape-shifter. She agreed, not fulling realizing what a mistake she was making.
Hoyt changed her. Right before Hoyt and Blair were going to leave, Ralf (the sheriff's son of Dún Laoghaire) decided to make his intentions a little clearer. He wanted Blair as his wife, and took his affection a little too far. Blair lost control; she turned into a wolf, and, in a moment of blind rage, fear, and confusion, she ripped out his throat. As Ralf died, Blair ran off; but the sheriff had caught her in the act. He held so much influence over the leaders, he convinced them to not just punish Blair, but to wholey exile her; to never return to Ireland. And, to really kill her on the inside as his son's death did to him, he stated that Hoyt would be forced to stay in Ireland; separating the two lovers forever.
She tried turning to friends and family, but all treated her as if she were Death itself. She went from small country to small country; just skirting around her homeland. What finally sent her to America and this camp was this bit of tragic, heart-breaking news; Hoyt had committed suicide. He sent her a letter stating that he couldn't live without her, and since she couldn't come to Ireland, and they kept special tabs on him, life wasn't worth living. He pleaded with her in the letter not to be angry, and to join him in the afterlife., where no one could separate them. Blair wasn't ready for the greatest journey; so, heart-broken, nearly insane with grief and loneliness, she went to America, having heard tales of Belldame's Camp.
