"A queen she is called. Rich with light hair.
Bright like the sun. It shines.
And in her eyes. The deepest sea's
Savage waves are calmed with the batting
of long, dark lashes.
Her lips like pomegranate
Together or apart
Keep a perfectly hidden kiss."

A locket. A small, bronze locket. Almost so hard to see the reflections of it with the human eye. The ocean floor reflects the light from the shining sun, and this locket reflects the light from the ocean's tide. The locket is attached to a long, rusted chain. It indicates that this was once worn as a necklace. The locket itself is shaped like a heart. The thing inside of any living thing that contains feelings, or so they say. But are feelings and loved really stored in the heart? Or are they somewhere else? The locket is at the right length so, if worn properly, will land on top of the persons heart. What was kept inside was meant to be placed close to ones heart.
The locket is a little difficult to open at first. In fact, it took the girl who used to wear it awhile to open it herself. If you have the right length of nails and the patience along with that, someone will soon be able to get it open. It's small, and the items contained inside the locket can easily fall out if one isn't careful enough. If one were to look closely at the item inside. Maybe squint their eyes so they're almost shut and lean in a little closer, they'll be able to tell that this is a photo. A small, old photo that was molded and ripped off here and there from the water. It's a photo of a girl. A young woman at that. She is smiling happily as she looks at something out in the distance. She seems happy and innocent looking.
The woman has long blonde hair that seems even lighter in the sunlight. Her hair looks thick resting on her right shoulder. Her face looks innocent and sweet with big blue eyes and plump lips. Her skin looks soft, softer then silk maybe. Her body, however, looks so delicate. It looks like if this girl were to fall over, she would shatter into a million pieces onto the Earth. She has soft and small curves and fragile looking feet and hands. Her hands look so small and delicate that this girl could probably tie a million little ribbons gently and perfectly together without a problem. Her feet look like a ballet dancers feet. Herself looks like she wouldn't even be an inch over five feet tall.
However, this girl isn't exactly beautiful. It depends on how someone were to look at her. She has a delicate beauty. One that could easily be broken depending on her emotions. One that was fragile like a flower. A flower that, if it were to be stomped on, would crush and become no more. One could think she was the most prettiest girl in the world, though. However, inside the mind of the girl, she thinks she is just average looking. She doesn't have supermodel looks, but she more has childish looks that are undeveloped and thin.
Looking to the side will give you another image of a woman. An older woman, but the younger girl is a spitting image of this woman. They look to be related. The older woman is like the younger girl, except a more mature face and some wrinkles here and there. She seems to be smiling as well, looking equally happy as the other girl. It would be no mistake to guess these two as mother and daughter.
But then it is seen that there is a slight folded part at the very tip of the picture of the younger woman. If the top picture is taken out and folded down, it will be noticed that there is another pendant hiding underneath. A rusty silver necklace with a chain supporting a circular object with a name engraved in it.
Nerissa Petralia
Odd name. Nerissa is a Greek name that literally means "Sea Nymph". It was also the name of a character in a popular Shakespearean play entitled "The Merchant of Venice". Petralia was also odd. The meaning of it was "Smooth Stone". It seemed like a coincidental name for someone whom has grown up looking somewhat like a siren out of water...

"Don't let madness corrupt you.
A wise man once said,
but it is impossible not to be corrupted
when you're as dark as insanity itself."
Shy - Caring - Smart - Self-Conscious -
"It's like being wedged between two walls." she says, "Two walls that keep itching closer and closer to you, but the time it takes is almost infinite."
Being stuck in a dark room isn't that scary. But what if you're afraid of the dark? What if you're stuck and you can't see a thing, but you can hear everything around you. You can feel those two walls on either side of you coming in towards you, threatening to squeeze the life out of you if it must. There are some days that you get so afraid of those walls that you just snap and can't take it. You can't think about what's to come, even though you already know your fate. You scream and you cry uncontrollably and you can't hardly function throughout your day because your so afraid of those walls and the thoughts in your head. There are those days where you can't breathe and you can't talk because your own thoughts are choking you. You scream and sob in your head some days, and you scream and sob for real some other days. Though those days may be different, you still feel the same. You just act out in different ways. You try to brace those walls with something. Anything. Anything you find just breaks and tumbles into shattered pieces. Every person you talk to, you trust and every shoulder you cry on is the brace, and it just shatters because it's not enough to brace the walls and make them stop.
Yet, there are some days that you just want the walls to come in and take you. Some days where you just sit there and curl up and just want it to end. These are the days the walls seem to be going painfully slow. The days where you want the walls to crush you the most is the days the walls decide to do the exact opposite. You seem emotionless throughout the day but you are still able to somehow manage a smile and cough up a laugh because you don't want the people around you to know what's really going on inside your head. These are the days where you fiddle with your fingers and bite your lip until it bleeds because you need something to do at all times. You need to do something to hide the anxiety and panic you feel over nothing. And it frustrates you to know that you don't know. You don't know what's wrong with you and you can't even explain it to yourself. So you just sit there and wait for all this silliness to go away, yet you know it just won't leave.
On the outside you just seem like another one of those shy girls that can't talk for her own good. Her ideas seem dumb and ridiculous. Her brain is on that thin line between intelligent and insanity. It's a terrible feeling, but you're still able to manage it because you've grown use to it. You need to control it cause that's all you know what to do with it. It seems insane, but so does perfection.
I may add a history if I'm up to it later on.. I don't know... I'm pretty lazy...
