Blue quickly ate his food, enjoying every delicious bite. It was a very solid and nutritious meal and that mixed with the recent metaphorical weight that was removed from his shoulders and he was feeling amazing. If this kept up there wasn't much that would be able to bring him down. As the paladin came out from his tent and spoke some quiet words with Freyah, Blue took a few long looks at Kael when she wasn't looking. He hadn't had the courage to attempt this before, but now he felt like he could take some risks. She really was beautiful with her long hair and pretty purple eyes. He noticed they changed color with her mood, which would help him figure out what she was feeling since the dragoness didn't exactly share those thoughts easily. She looked up right when he was looking at her eyes and they suddenly met with his. Right as he was about to casually look away, Nasyrk yelled up a challenge to the bird, which left Sarium flying down like a falcon which eyed his prey. Screeching out "Mine, Mine, Mine." as it flew down and landed square on the stump. It began digging into the meal, clearly enjoying the treat. "This is excellent," the bird said with excitement. The knight nodded his approval as he took another bite of his rabbit. " Are you the one that cooked this meal?" the bird said as it looked Blue's way again. "If so, you have potential to be a chef." he said by way of compliment.
" In all sincerity, I wish I could tell you I had cooked this meal." Blue said with a smile. " But this one goes out to our quite dragoness over there," He exclaimed while he pointed in her direction with his eating utensil. "All compliments for this meal go directly to our lovely chef." he said with a chuckle. "But don't be too pushy, or we might not get another meal like this any time soon." He said quietly to Sarium. Blue quickly ate the last few bites of his meal and sat down a little ways away from the group. He still had quite a few things to do this day. They had another days walk to get to the place where the frog was being kept, as well as he had to spend time training Freyah to use the bow. He knew that she would have to have some sort of natural talent if she would learn enough to be useful in this upcoming fight. They would have to spend quite awhile learning as they walked, as well as take several breaks to stop and shoot at unmoving targets. Some time after breakfast Blue would have to take her to the area he practiced at earlier so she could learn the fundamentals of shooting the bow. How to make arrows and most importantly how not to point it at anyone or anything she wasn't prepared to hit. It would take time for her to learn the accuracy it would take to hit someone in certain spots and not kill, but for now he just needed her to learn the basics. She seemed energetic enough, so he didn't see a problem in motivation, but that also meant she would be impatient. The knight would just have to wait to see what would come out of her training.
