Eric is twenty-eight and works for Red Shield, the medical supporter of Katherine. He supports and continues to research different "antidotes" that Red Shield continues to request upon Katherine's thirst. He has studied the odd patterns of the Queen's sleep patterns and blood thirst for years after his cousin, Julia Silverstein, had retired from the Red Shield professions and works. He grew up in Okinawa and, naturally, enjoys the beaches. He likes ramen and writing during his free time. He does not enjoy animals. Eric is an ambitious, up-beat, and supportive man when it comes to his friends and family. He's sacrificial and understanding, though when upset or trying to prove a point, he can get quite rude and comically upset. He keeps with him a pin with a ruby, stuck to his tie, to symbolize the Red Shield. Not much of his background is revealed.
