Nike, before she lost all her physical sense, was a talkative and bright woman. Wise and experienced, she was also irritatated at Man and how easily they were succumbing to the Cruzzolas. Her irritation was easily sedated by music or a long poem of love. It was obvious her favorite company was kept with Machai, the last living member of the Wolf Clan, and her sworn protector.

She has been consumed by the idea that Man will be taken down by the Cruzzola and thinks of nothing else. Nike has been seen throwing wild fits where only Machai can keep her still. She has been delving into deep depressions and back into a wild mania of hope. All those around her know the Cruzzola must be defeated, but Nike feels the need like a poison through her veins.

History

Since the Dawn of Man, Nike has lived among them, helping them fulfill their dreams and become the scientists, politicians, dreamers and lovers that we all know today. She has always loved her destiny and cherished it as if it were the last water on Earth. But since the growth of the Cruzzola, she has met with anger, hatred and obstinance from all sides. Many times she has fought, defeated, and fought again to save the Nature of Man. Many times she has won, and many times she has lost.

When it was obvious the clans would be devoured, Nike had to make the hard decision to separate babies from their mothers. The only Clan to maintain its lineage was the Wolf Clan. They had been her protectors since the clans had been birthed and so needed not to be hidden away from Cruzzolan eyes. She hated herself for many centuries for the decisions she'd been forced into, until the leader of the Wolf Clan came to her. He was distraught, grieving the life of his wife and the mother of his child. He knew he would bare no more children and that his clan would be lost forever. He begged her to take his last son and raise him.

This child brought a new life into Mother Nature and the hope of Man rose for many years as her happiness was contagious.

The Cruzzola Family, however, was devastated and had to do something. That's when the most powerful and devastating reign of the Cruzzola began. Since then, Nike's health has deteriorated, her senses have gone, leaving her with only the mind to communicate through. She did not want to disturb what she thought was a peaceful life the descendants were living, but without them, Machai and she would perish under the shadow of Cruzzola.
