Description

Image
Name: Wyn Mason
Face claim: Monika Jagaciak
Hero Name: Hell's symphony
Power: She can manipulate the environment with her emotions, though it manifests more noticeably and specifically as she sings. When it's in effect, her irises change to a lighter color, and glow.
Second Power: She is highly aware of her physical surroundings, she can feel everything and the dpace it occupies as long as she isn't surrounded by dense or thick enough walls- though walls and barriers in general throw her off.
Age: 15
Year: Sophmore
Gender: Female
Sexuality: Heterosexual
Appearance: Um...shes...pretty?
Height: 5' 6”
Weight: 125 lbs
Distinguishing Marks: None really
Dress Style: Likes wearing loose, layered and/or sheer clothing and pastel colors. Also fond of hair accessories. And anklets.
Hobbies: Drawing sensed objects
Likes: Marshmallows, stillness, glass shattering, dance, singing, bass
Dislikes: Wide open spaces, country-sides (unless they're "cluttered enough") lack of people, the Hell's symphony costume
Strengths: Wyn is(or was{?}) fairly attentive to detail, and can use a wide variety of firearms(though in her current state she can probably only make lucky shots based on sound), with pretty great reflexes and endurance.
Weaknesses: Since her fighting is more weapons based, she isn't all that strong, relying more on dodging and escaping. She currently has some sort of agnosia, which is why her hyperawareness is more of a hindrance recently- its difficult for her to make connections between objects, and what visually percieves the environment is like footage from a camera on a bungee cord if she tries to move quickly. Clothing also hinders the ability to some degree...
Fears: Speaking outside of Hell's ambassadors (recent), shoes, getting lost, going anywhere
Personality: Before whatever incident caused her agnosia, she was a confident, slightly cocky, and a pretty laid back yet do it yourself kind of girl, though it was toned down for her civilian life. She was very much a team player and would often try to encourage people to step out of their boundaries. Now she's shy and doesn't like moving around much, and a little maybe a lot depressed after the agnosia started.
History: She grew up in the middle of a superhuman feud. The story she heard from her dad was that the original leader of Hell's ambassadors got in a fight with one of the members of We of Fallen Heaven, all members got involved, and it continued to escalate to this day, across quite a few cities, with their dueling antics. Many have died, but since they're rarely "civilian deaths" (death of members are covered up by the police) attention is rarely called to those who could probably end the fight....by just wiping them all out. She was in charge of "funding", and worked alongside veterans like Hell's Mania and Hell's Chaos until she was badly injured by a member of WoFH, whom they only know as Heaven's lightning, (though that group doesn't really use theme naming) and was almost killed many times afterward, until her father revealed to her that she had received a letter from the school, and even though it was a little over a year old, she could still go to receive 'proper' training for the weaker skill and her current handicap she often used as a civilian that probably prompted the schools interest. And probably not die.
Family:
Gerry Mason, AKA Modern Hell- an honorary member of Hell's ambassadors, in charge of severing connections between civillians and their hell personas, using his abilities to interact with machines and the internet to pretty much expunge anything that could affect their personal lives. Also Wyn's dad. And a shut in.
Diana Mason, AKA Nothingness- Wyn's mom, who disappeared from her life when she was young. Had the ability to make those her saw her ignore her existence, and persuasion, which combined with her first ability, made people think that the average Joe suddenly went nuts and decided to break through a window in order to steal a fork instead of being convinced by a woman who had ordered him to do it fairly loudly in front of a huge crowd.
Goals: Overcome her disability and get revenge of Heaven's lightning.

So begins...

If Wyn's duffel bag were a person, it would have been dead, she was crushing it so hard. It had what she called the 'guava color scheme'- pastel pink with mint green handles, with even lighter tracings of flowers and butterflies on the bag proper.

It was a bit much, even for Wyn, but it was a gift from Anthony, and he had protected her more than once, and was just as caring as her dad when she wasnt at home. So it was a little hard to turn down the childish bag.

She smiled to herself. Everyone, even before the incident, treated her like a baby. It didn't matter how cocky or brash she had managed to flaunt herself as, as soon as the mission was done, she was in for some cheek pinching and exaggerated shows of affection from both Anthony and Jen. Dear god, Jen. That woman pretty much dance hugged Wyn for anything, though she liked doing that before she left for school, if she managed to catch up to her.

If she had known better, this fact would have been jarring, considering that Anthony made people see things that weren't there, 'guiding them to hell', and Jen made them see all they had seen and more, tormenting the victim with their own misconscrewed memories until she stopped or they went crazy.

Chaos and Mania. Their titles suited them. Their goofy and doting behavior, not so much, but she loved them anyways.

She blinked. Had she come to the right office? She had been told to come to the main office so she could be oriented. She would have a lot of catching up to do, so they would only explain the basics before pairing her up with someone who would help her with the rest. She wasn't even sure if her clothes was dress code appropriate: A periwinkle sweater that stopped just above her knee, hiding her loose peach colored t shirt and baby blue shorts, with laced brown boots that stopped just below her knee. They were also a gift. She would rather not wear them, but she felt she had to use them at least once.

...She was certain she was in the right room, she had stepped out a few times to read the name plate. Maybe she was too early? Maybe sneaking into the building before anyone was up wasn't the best course of action.

Third floor. She needed to make it to the third floor. She was thankful that, as long as she focus on the scrawled note, the world didn't swing like crazy. There also weren't many people here yet, though she could hear some lively greetings. She knew there weren't many students, and this made her a bit nervous.

Maybe they kept to themselves and weren't so friendly. For once, she welcomed that personality. Slight apathy had always annoyed her, as she had loved just being surrounded by people, always knowing she had someone for whatever she needed.

Of course, falling apart showed just how many shared the sentiment. Now she just wanted to be alone until she stitched herself together.

...Maybe Wyn should have come later than the rest, she really didn't want to risk coming near someone friendly. She knew that most didn't have bad intentions, but now wasn't a good time...

Alex Birch

As Alex sat on the plane he looked he looked out the window, enjoying both the pleasant view and the fact that he had managed to get a window seat this time. As he watched out the window he sported a a small smile, the cause of which wasn't the pleasant view but the fact that he would soon be back in California and back at the school. He was looking forward to another year there, and was eager to get back on the ground so he could head over to the school.

Alex had attempted to catch a short nap on the flight but his excitement coupled with the snoring of a rather heavyset fellow in the seat next to him had prevented him from doing so. He looked over at the man beside him, and despite his snoring Alex was glad he had managed to persuade his parents from flying up with him, not that he really would've minded, Alex just felt it was unnecessary. When he had finally landed Alex grabbed the two bags he had brought with him, and started heading towards the parking lot. One bag was simply filled with what he'd need for the semester, some extra pair of cloths, some books, and his laptop. The other bag however was mostly filled with everything his plants would need over his time at the school, some seeds. a few flower pots, his gardening tools, and a few other essentials they might need.

Once he made it to the parking lot he found the car that his parents had arranged to be here and after placing his things in the car he started driving down to the school. Once he made it there he parked grabbed his things and made his way down to the school. On his way he spotted some of the other students, many of which he knew. Though he took no time to make his presence known.

As he made his way to the school, he took in the familiar sights. It was good to be back, he could feel the joy, and eagerness emanating from the local flora, just as glad to see Alex again as he was to be back. Once he made it into the school he looked around the school, many of the students were in the lobby. Alex took a deep joyful breath. It was good to be back.
