Past: Six years ago on May 26, a beautiful baby girl was born. She had her momâs bright red hair and her dadâs stunning blue eyes. Her mom knew that she couldnât care for this child. She was mentally unstable and the babyâs father was dead. He had been killed in a tragic accident involving a tractor. So the girlâs mother gave her up. It was a hard discussion, but after about a day the nameless baby was handed off to Lou and Margret OâLeary. For Margret it was a no brainer. This was a closed adoption and the baby looked just like her. They would never have to tell her who her real parents where. So they named the girl Lilly and for two years, she had a perfect life. But one fateful day, it was all ruined. Lilly had gone missing! Lou and Margret spent hours looking for the toddler and where just about to call the police when Lilly walked out of her room. Apparently, she had been playing hide and go seek with her teddy and he was really bad at seeking. Oh, and Lilly had been invisible. She eagerly told her parents this, hoping that they would find it as amazing as she did. However, they didnât. In fact, they were afraid. They were both approaching fifty and didnât know if they could handle a super powered kid. But they tried. And 6 months later, they painstakingly returned her to the system. Lilly jumped from home to home and then she finally caught on (At around her third home) that being invisible was bad. But she blamed Teddy. If he was better at seeking, she would probably be a good girl. Yes, it was all Teddyâs fault. Then Lilly went to go live with the Richardsons.
The Richardsons were a young family consisting of Alice and Randy Richardson. They had just gotten married and Alice didnât want to give birth. It would ruin her figure. So they adopted. And the pretty little girl with red hair was just perfect. For around a week, Lilly kept her powers a secret. But she was only 3 at the time and she really didnât understand what she could do. So one day, when Randy was yelling at her (He had a bit of a temper) she threw her cup at him. It was a plastic cup, and she had horrible aim, but Randy must have been a very lucky man. The cup missed him and hit the wall instead. And it shattered. Not the wall of course, but the cup. A thick plastic cup literally shattered. Lilly thought at first that they were going to punish her. She got hit a lot at the Richardsons and she thought that they would really hurt her, but no, Alice asked her very nicely to show if she had any other âcool tricksâ. So Lilly ran, and jumped really high, and made herself see-through, and she made Teddy walk all by himself. It was the first time that Alice really treated her like a daughter.
Unfortunately, Lillyâs newfound happiness was very short lived. Only a few days after this, Alice asked her to go up to a man and take his wallet out of his pocket. But first, she had to make herself see-through. She did this for her âmommyâ and didnât get caught, but it made her feel icky inside. And then they made her do it again, and again, and again. Soon they where onto bigger and better things, once even stealing money out of a cash register, and another time going into a car and taking EVERYTHING. She tried not to, but when she said no, Randy hit her. And she didnât like being hit. After a while, Lilly began to change. She refused to do anything bad anymore. So she was locked in her room. She begged to get out, because she was hungry and thirsty. So they fed her a little, and they gave her a little to drink. But they wouldnât talk to her. During that week, Lilly bonded with Teddy. He became her only friend. She told him secrets and fed him some of her food, and she figured out how to change her hair and eyes so that they would look a little bit alike. And when she finally agreed to be bad again, she was let out. But they were never nice to her again. They hit her more and fed her less. And they always said she was bad. And then Lilly found out that she was Super Girlâs kid. It was in the form of a letter when she was around six and a half. Super-Girl had recently joined the Teen Titans and she had sent a brief letter to her daughter. It was an explanation and an apology. Lilly didnât know what to think. She was happy that she was special. She finally had an explanation for all of her weirdness. And best of all, she knew now that her powers werenât âbadâ. But if her powers werenât bad, then she must be. And that caused her to become reluctant to steal anymore. And that led to more beatings.
When she was invited to The Academy, Lilly was afraid, but she was exited too. They would know she was bad⊠but maybe they wouldnât. If she lied to them enough they might think she was good. And she might even make friends⊠if she was lucky.
Powers: Super strength, invisibility/cloaking, super-speed, shape shifting (Though she can only change her hair/eye/skin color), flight, telekinesis
Weaknesses: Lilly doesnât have her motherâs invulnerability and therefore she is easily hurt. Lilly is very weak with her powers and most of the time cannot use them unless she had Teddy in her arms. Plus, she refuses to fly.
Personality: Lilly is just an average little girl. Well⊠except a few things. She is afraid of pretty much everything. And this makes her next to silent. In order to get her to talk, she has to be talked to; asked questions. And most of the time sheâll answer though Teddy. If someone asks her how her day is going, she might just tell them that Teddy fell so he is really sad today, or Teddy taught her that dogs really arenât that scary unless they have sharp teeth, so her day is good. Pretty much everything she said has something to do with her teddy bear. She also focuses her powers through Teddy. If he isnât with her, she wonât even try to use her powers. And whenever she moves things with her mind, she tells everyone Teddy is doing it. Lilly is also really hyper, but she usually thinks that sheâll get yelled at for it, so she lies. However, her lies are really obvious. Except for the ones about her parents. Lily will make up stories of how her parents send her cookies and write her letters and love her a really lot. Because just like any other little girl, she just wants to be loved.
