The Carmichael’s lifestyle has lead Blair to have higher than average expectations out of others and life. Everything she’s ever wanted has been handed to her on a silver platter. But a life on the Upper Eastside has certain expectations. She has always been the type to present herself in the best light possible. Bee has always presented herself well mannered, even better dressed… Exactly what would be expected of the daughter of Franklin Carmichael. And while most girls who lived similar lives were dumber than a box of rocks, or spent their nose buried in books, Blair had the book smarts to surpass them all.

With all her poise and elegance, that didn’t keep Bee away from the boys. It actually was quite the opposite. Her game might not have been quite to her brother’s level, but he had some demigod hoodoo on his side. Blair still had the skill to wrap just about any idiot rich boy around her perfectly manicured finger. She always has had a way with men. She might not have experienced love, but she was more than capable of using the dumber sex to get what she wanted from them. To her, men are useful but disposable once they’ve served their purpose. It’d take a very special and determined individual to keep her attention.

Ever since she was old enough to speak, Blair has a been a “my way or the highway” sort of girl. She doesn’t take no for an answer. She does what she wants when she wants to, and given her privileged lifestyle, it was rare that she ever got in trouble for it. She has never been a coy or soft spoken girl and naivety is checked at the door. Bee takes life by the balls and makes it her bitch. Either enjoy the ride, wherever she ends up taking you, or get the hell out of her way. She’s not a stranger to taking down a roadblock or two.

While going hand in hand with being a handful, Blair also has the attitude to back it up. She’s often seen as a dog that’s all bark, no bite. But from the world she comes from, an animal’s bark can go a long way. Others call it snark while she calls it character. It makes her spicy. Girls often loathe or envy her, while guys often trip over one another to get a night with her. She’s a bitch and knows it, but loves every moment of it. And contrary to what some might think, if they have the perseverance to become her friend, she is fiercely loyal and a caring friend. But getting there… that takes some patience.

The privileged lifestyle suited Blair quite well. Since she was a toddler she was in charge. Their father was hardly ever around, apparently a career was more important than his children. Or perhaps that was the case after Lochlan came around. He always favored Bee, doted on her a fair bit more. But he was never there to be a father. Instead he sent gifts, money… hired a new nanny whenever she was tired of the old. Her relationship with the butler Henry was stronger than that to her own blood. But whatever she got, she always shared with her brother. To be honest, she got so much there was no way that she could enjoy it all herself.

Starting as young children, they quickly became an inseparable pair. Anything and everything they did, they did together. If they took a kids toy, they took two, if they cheated someone out of their money, they shared it. Everything in life, split right down the middle. They were unstoppable together. Lochlan rebelled as any boy absent his father’s affection would and Blair was right there beside him.

It wasn’t until they were older that the truth of the messed up triangle of their parentage came to the light. One day after Blair had long since traveled down the darker path of rebellion with her brother, Athena arrived. Perhaps it was a way to convince her to turn her life around, or maybe it was to severe her bond with her brother, but her mother divulged the truth of the entire situation. While it might have been designed to put a wedge between herself and her now half brother, it did the opposite.

Neither of their mothers took a particular interest in their lives. Athena only seemed to pop into Blair’s when certain schemes of theirs got a little worse than she cared for. She didn’t dislike her mother, but Bee was never going to be the type of woman Athena expected her to be. Yes, part of her was perfect, pristine and smart, but another desired to break the rules as much as her brother did. Perhaps there was a bit of Athena and Hera in them both.

Things somewhat mellowed out as Lochlan found himself in a serious committed relationship and Blair set her focus towards college applications and debutant balls. But when Hera meddled in something she shouldn’t have yet again, it ruined whatever peace there might have been in the Carmichael household. Lochlan went to his old ways and Blair could never said no to their devious misdoings.

It seemed one day Athena had finally seen enough. It was the only time after Hera’s deception that she spoke to Franklin Carmichael. She begged, or demanded was more like it, for him to send their daughter away to Camp Athens where she might, by some chance of luck, behave herself. He didn’t argue. But to Athen’s dismay, he not only shipped Blair away but sent Lochlan along with her. Out of sight, out of mind.
