This isn't some school camp. Sure, you can have fun, but always remember why we're here. To learn how to fight, and to kill. That's what it takes to live as a demigod.

Nicknames/Titles: Wes | Berdo | Anton | Darth
Age: 17
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Straight
Nationality: It's a bit of a mix. Australian mostly, I guess.
Divine Parent: Hades
Face Claim/Physical Appearance: Jared Leto
Westley has intense blue eyes and dark hair that he wears in a variety of styles as it grows out. He'll often go a few days without shaving, but rarely let's it get past stubble. He is dedicated to training to learn how to survive as a demigod, particularly as a child of one of the big three. He knows that monsters will be attracted to him all the more because of it. That simply means he'll have to be even deadlier than they are. His body reflects that, built strong enough to use most weapons available at the camp yet toned and lithe enough to move with an almost predatory grace.
Height: 6'2
Weight: 84 kg
Personality: Westley at first seems to be a warmer soul than most of Hades brood. He is bright and intent, as well as warm and welcoming. Luckily, he's missed out on his fathers position as an outsider, and assumes rapport with most people he meets. He can be light, fun and easy, a cheeky and often shamelessly inappropriate wit quickly endearing himself to other campers. Despite this he has inherited Hades respect of oaths, laws and morality. He takes such matters seriously. For the most part he treats the Gods and any others more senior than him with great respect, though will still slip in a little joke if he thinks he can get away with it. He is hard-working and often busy, taking seriously his training at Camp Halfblood.
Like his father, he too has a crueler, darker side. Although not the black common to children of Hades, his stark blue eyes still hold his fathers intensity, and he can become frighteningly angry when his temper flares up. Usually in good spirits, his temper is slow to light but burns furiously when it does. His is a cold anger, cunning, ruthless and devious when dealing with enemies. He believes strongly in justice, though his emotions may sometimes muddle just punishment and personal revenge. Although he soon builds friendship and trust, if that trust is utterly betrayed, he finds it difficult to forgive. Grudges are often the fatal flaw of the children of Hades, and he has not escaped that.
Being able to take care of himself
Being able to take care of others
Fighting (more than he admits)
Warm food, lots of drinks, and great company
Dogs
Dislikes:
Laziness
Unnecessarily rude/nasty people
The idea that darkness automatically means evil
Cats
Baileys and Sambouka (actually he loves them, but that's the problem)
Talents:
Fighting
Has a natural flair for leadership, and just getting on with things
Is very cunning and insightful
Flaws:
Tends to get out of hand when he loses his temper
Cannot let go of serious grudges
Tends to drink more than he really should when given the chance. One such night led to the nickname 'Yogie-bear'. Don't ask.
Fears:
Ironically, death (though he'd never admit it)
Being unable to save those close to him, or those he's responsible for
He has a deep suspicion and distrust of pelicans. Again, don't ask.
Weapon: Wesley is proficient with a number of weapons, and prizes the idea of being able to use anything as a weapon. His favorite weapon though is the sword. He will either duel-wield two one-handed swords, or use a shield with a hand-and-a-half sword.
Ability(ies):
Umbrakinesis: Manipulation and solidification of shadows, mainly for combat.
Shadow Travel: Using shadows to teleport. Although Westley has yet to do this, he's thinks he's starting to get a sense of it.
Necromancy: Summoning of monsters of Hades, such as skeletons and hellhounds. As of yet undiscovered
Westley was the son of Hades and Jane Trescott. She was a kind, loving, and engaging woman. She held a certain vivacity that enraptured men beyond her physical beauty. However, the Australian was a career-driven presenter, and was more interested in her job than in relationships. The relationship with Hades though... even from the start, she knew that was something different. She traveled often, working mainly with the BBC, but that was no boundary to Hades. He was often with her, wherever she was, and even years later visited her occasionally.
Westley grew up with this lifestyle, constantly on the move with his mother, travelling to film around the world. He never really knew his father, and always assumed it was just a man his mother met while travelling. It didn't bother him though. He enjoyed the lifestyle, the close-knit filming crews and exotic locations filled with interesting people. He quickly picked up the skills of making friends, even with language barriers. He enjoyed the friendly, intelligent, often artsy nature of the crews, and picked up all sorts of skills and tricks from them. His mother was overjoyed that he so easily took to the lifestyle. For some reason though, she was insistent that Westley pick up any and all survival skills he could though. In case he got lost while they were filming somewhere obscure, she said.
His mother's work began to develop a bit of a name for herself, but for some reason became suddenly uncomfortable with the gathering of fame. She decided instead to settle down, set on moving to her hometown of Melbourne, Australia, to open up her own little multi-cultural restaurant. Whilst there, however, they get a letter from the U.S. From a particular camp actually...
