Jace Michaels's Story

Jace awoke with the start, he had that blasted dream again, yet he lost every time. He rolled off of his bunk and strolled to dress, it was a perfect day, if you forget about the campers rushing with wepeons and armour. He grabbed the nearest kid running by "Who,how many, and when?" Poor boy, must've never been near the son of death. "Ugh....monsters....and ugh.....12 legion!" Jace let the kid run, and went back to the cabin to grab his sword and his silver skull. "Wish me luck dad, I'm sending some to you" He rushed out towards the gate, ready for battle

Jace Ran through the crowd rushing to reach the gates, and when he reached he was stunned to see the vast amount of monsters and romans. "Holy Hades....." He ran for May, the only person he thought could curse them, and aid with clearing of the monsters. He ran to the cabin and knocked quickly. "May! We need some help!"

Already outside the cabin, trying to push her way towards Chiron, May blinked and looked back thinking she heard her name. "Jace?" She made her way through the throng of kids back to where he was, "Jace, what is going on, here!?"

"Jace, what is going on, here!?" Jace turned to see May, he rushed to confront her. "It's the 12th, and they're organizing an army of monsters, we need any and all curses, please" He pointed his sword to the gate, "We need to hurry" As if on cue, a barrage of assaults hit the barrier. "Oh my Gods..."

As the shield was hit I turned to see the large group of Roman soldiers attack the barrier before a large group of dracanae. A spine chilling howl rose through the camp and a shape charged the barrier. "It's Lycaon All troops pull back all archers Fire at will!" I hit my chest and my suit turned into a large thing of white armor. My hat changed into a helmet with the large ploom and everything as I charged forwards shaking people off me as I ran. I grabbed a metal pipe as I broke the camp's front lines a few people behind me started to cry out. "What the hell is that guy trying to do?" I charged head first through the barrier and pushed a good number of the guys back but then the stabbing started and I let them stab me. I turned and punched one of my attackers while my other hand ripped the sword from him then I started hacking away at them. "This is for Achilles and all of my friends." I saw a black shape leap into the air and the crowd moved a few started hitting the barrier again. I stood in the middle of a circle with dead demigods around me and a werewolf in front of me I could hear it's breathe. "You go first human I like to toy with my prey first." I laughed and dropped my sword turning my back to him. "For fire be as fire may you will never have your way." I turned around and threw the fireball in my hands as fast as possible hitting the werewolf in the chest sending it falling back. I turned and ran towards the barrier and pushed into it. "Oh man well what are you waiting for go show them why Greece crushes Rome any day of the year!" I jogged back into the area near the cabins as a few people gasped I looked down and realised I had a few swords sticking out of me. "Ooops my bad I got it." I pulled them out and dropped them before walking up to two people talking. "Let me guess daughter of Aphrodite and son of Hephaestus right well that doesn't mean you can't fight." I pulled two swords out of my back and held them out to the two. "Though with your looks I wouldn't mind asking you to come with me I need somebody to talk to while I go find Hera." I said to the girl not that she would notice I had started to get quiet.

Nina woke up, startled.screaming? She puts on some overalls, grabs her hammer, and shoves some matches in her pocket. Nina looks around at the mess outside. "Oh. My. God." She runs over to the group of people. "What happened? Did you say you were going to find Hera? Should I come?

"Yeah sure, May can you do blessings to? I'll help the gate and let you people be the quest group." He looked alittle hurt, being called Hephaestus child. He could see that May caught the boys attention, and pretended it didn't bother him "It would help," He managed a fake grin. He pushed the boys sword away and took out his own blade. "If not I'll head out to aid at the line." He didn't need the blessing, he didn't want to leave.

With a small smile May lightly pushed the sword he'd held out aside, "Daughter of Apollo," she looked over at Jace, "and sorry, Jace, but Apollo kids can't bless, even the ones who aren't freaks." She sighed, "Large scale curses can be difficult, but I'll try."
"What happened? Did you say you were going to find Hera? Should I come?"
"Nina? It seems like there's a war starting, so it'd be great if you could go with Ja-" Then it hit her and she looked back at the new guy, "Hey, um.... white knight person? Did you say you were going to find Hera?" Well, now she thought she understood what was happening, not that she liked it, and she had a bad feeling that the visions in her nightmares might be coming true. "I-If that's the case, then... yeah, I'm going with you." She put her haipin back in her hair, she wouldn't need her bow yet, and pulled her bronze knives out of their sheaths. "Jace, please be careful if you go to the front," she grinned, "and don't overdo it with the dead guys," she'd prefer they all stay together, though.

Jace held his false smile, he would be flying solo, the worst part was something was off about this new guy, and he couldn't figure it out. He was too powerful to just show up unnoticed. "Good luck May, good luck New guy" Jace began to walk towards the gate. "See you all in Elysium."

"Well, let me come too, Hera can be... tougher than she looks. Jace, if you're staying, you'd better go get a weapon, 'cause something's going on here. Oh and new guy... you got a sword in your side, would be pretty painful to me. Go get cleaned up or you're gonna die faster if this doesn't go well." Nina swings her hammer in a circle and puts it in her tool belt. She checks her blacksmithing stone is in her pocket so she can fix their weapons. " Ok, you guys get set to go."

"Ha die haven't heard that in a while." I said pulling the sword out I dropped it and turned to the guy they called Jace. "You might want to come too this involves both of our fathers and my dad want's me to help yours." I turned a little and looked up. "Something about brotherly love and that crap." I looked at him as my armor changed back into a suit I ran my hands through my hair electricity crackled as my fingers exited leaving my hair standing. "I hate that it always does that always for the love of Zues just stay down damn hair." I put my hat back on and looked at the three people who I would need to help me. "I'm Anthony a son of Zues and I'll be your guide through the Labyrinth today." I tried to look charming just because I never really looked all that good but gave up after a good three seconds. "Well Jace you coming we need somebody to help us get into your dad's palace and beat whoever is giving him trouble." I had a long list of things to do and I knew it. "We have a long day ahead of us." They all had to find Hera after helping Hades then I had to find my old friend the goddess of magic. I heard a familiar voice as a person walked into the camp. I turned a smile on my face until I saw what my cousin was wearing. He was in full Roman armor and had been allowed in by one god his father. "Guys if your coming with me then get to the front of the labrinth Ares is playing for the other team." I took a step back and drew my bow a small arrow of electriyity forming in my hand on the string. "Well cousin what are you going to do we've been together all our lives?" I heard that and shot at his armor which just absorbed the shock and stunned him so we could run a group of campers jumped on him as I ran to the Labyrinth's entrance.

Nina runs to labyrinth's entrance. She turns to May. "Hera's my grandmother, so yeah, let's try not get into a family feud right now." Nina grabs her hammer and swings it around. " I have no idea what is happening right now, please fill me in, I woke up late." She checks her clock. " Dang, 10:00? I did wake up late! I wonder if dad knows about this. Probably does." Nina rolls her eyes, and grabs her lighter. She makes a little fireball on her hand and watches it.

May watched Anthony confront a kid in Roman armor, "Son of Zeus, eh? That might explain some things..." She shook her head to clear it, "Jace, you coming with? That Anthony guy said he needs all of us... and it seems like your dad's involved..." then when she heard Nina, ran over to her at the labyrinth's entrance, "Basically Hera's mad at Zeus for having an affair, and she decided to attack the camp with her own army to teach him a lesson... I think." She looked at Nina's fire, wishing she could do the same. She loves fire, after all.

Jace looked around, then at the oncoming storm of monsters and romans, "I'll be back, I promise on the Styx" Jace then cursed silently "Yeah May I'll head in last, you guys go." He didn't want to leave, he hated the labyrinth he'd had gone in quite enough. "Hey Bolt boy you wanna head on in, I mean ladies first right?"

I looked at her then at Jace. "Yeah you should go first." I said looking at him with a false grin I looked extremely sad as we entered the labryinth. "I trustees him with my only secret I've ever shared." I mumbled as I turned back and mumbled a small spell. "They can't follow us now at least not through this entrance that way we have some time." I looked at May and Jace with a frown we need to get moving and I'm sorry for assuming what camp cabin you two were in." I started to walk through the hall a jumpy look on my face.

May looked away from the fire and started to smile at Anthony's comeback, but stopped as she noticed his expression. 'He seems.. more distant than I thought. Wonder what's up?' she thought to herself.
She watched as he turned back and mumbled something, and what she could catch kind of... sounded like a spell? Her eyes widened a bit as he said "They can't follow us now at least not through this entrance that way we have some time."
Okay, she was getting pretty curious about this dude.
She blinked when he apologized, looked at Jace with a "what's with him" expression, and then followed Anthony, speeding up a little to walk beside him. "Hey, it's Anthony, right? You don't have to say sorry for that. Besides, you were technically kind of complimenting me, so I can't really complain..."
'Though I'd hate to be mistaken as some superficial, fashion obsessed girl...' she thought to herself
She shook her head, clearing her thoughts. Curiosity laced her tone as she asked, "Anyways, did you just cast a spell?" She noticed he seemed jumpy, but was way too curious about the magic to comment.

Jace watched the gate where they all went in, and hoped Anthony's spell would save them all. 'I hope nothing terrible happens out there' He thought even though he knew it would be terrible. 'Why is Bolt boy moving so quick' Until then he didn't notice how far behind he really was. They turned a corner, and as Jace caught up they were gone, "Guys?" Jace looked around frantic "May? Nina? Anthony?" He ran where he thought they went, then ran another corner "Guys where are you?!" Jace saw a light ahead and ran foward, and then his world went black.

"Well damn let's go find him." I said turning to her I drew my bow and aimed at a large spider hanging above May. "Don't move big spider." It toured and I saw it was glaring at me. I gave a long loud whistle. "Lucy sick ' em." A large two headed hellhound tackled the spider from the shadows. I ran and crouched in front of May. "Listen I.m not stupid I can see how he looks at you and how you look at me like some weird science experiment you can study I get it I knew before aphrodite told me that I would be left alone for ever." I said before using magic to make arrows of ice appear. "Lucy go find the son of Hades and struck him." My mind went back to my first time in the maze I had a girl guiding me until she decided her experiment on my emotions was done and attacked me. A flash appeared and the goddess of love was frowning at me. "I never said that I just said you made it difficult can you belive this kid." She vanished again

May watched the fire until it burned out, imagining that all her emotions were burning out with it. Forget the dreams, forget the spider, forget that you haven't slept for the past three nights, forget the arrogant person in front of you.
She smiled at Nina, "Thanks. I was seriously thinking of cursing him just now."
She looked back at Anthony, a little pissed, with a bit of a frown. "Now YOU listen. I honestly have no idea what the hell you're talking about. Jace is not my b-b-boyfriend." she couldn't help stuttering and blushing she's really bad with that kind of thing, "As far as relationships go, I understand you're either friend or enemy, and I either like you or I don't and vice versa." She sighed, suddenly thinking this whole situation annoying, "I look at you like an experiment? Sorry, but that's wrong. I thought you're interesting and I was curious, so I wanted to get to know you as a person. That's how I make friends. That's how I made friends with Jace and with Nina. You should try it some time..." May took her hairpin out of her hair, muttered in Greek under her breath, and the hairpin changed into her golden bow. "I hate being misunderstood and stereotyped." She paused before muttering, "Sorry" under her breath, "but don't be so arrogant that you think you "get it" when you don't know anything."
Guess I'm acting kind of bipolar today... she shook her head to clear it. "Are we waiting for your hellhound to find Jace, or are we moving?"

"oh man, how long have I been out?" Jace looked around only to see more dark tunnels. "I really wish if I got knocked out or something I'd be in like Vegas or something man." He checked around his pockets and stuff for a drachma "Perfect, but now water...." a few minutes later he was ready to iris message. He made the rainbow and flipped the coin in. "Hello, I'd like to contact May Judkins." He thought to himself 'What should I say, tell her where I could meet her?' He just waited, and hoped she'd answer
