Personality: Scared. Of everything. Etsumi is an absolute wimp, as well as an absolute doormat. She is stupidly loyal to her friends, but is also highly shy, so she doesn’t make many. Etsumi feels the need to make sure everyone she knows is taken care of, and tends to become a bit of a mother in groups. She loves books, and hopes to be a children’s book author one day. She also likes drawing, and often illustrates the stories she’s written thus far in her spare time. She tends to just take whatever life throws her way, often taking the path of least resistance, unless a friend needs her to take a harder path. She is willing to stand up for her friends, but not for herself, because she feels she is worth less than most people, especially people who make friends with her. She tends to vanish into the background, but that’s mostly a deliberate defence mechanism. Surprisingly, Etsumi likes being a neko, because of the interesting insights she’s getting on cat behaviour.
Skill(s)/Abilities: She is a very good liar, and can think up a brilliant tale at the drop of a hat. She’s also very smart, and knows a lot about animal behaviour. She has very good balance, thanks to the tail.

History: Etsumi didn’t really notice a difference when she grew a tail and ears; she’d already been bullied a lot. She is the middle child between two sisters whom are a good deal more memorable than her, so she learned to take happiness from other people’s happiness. She was essentially, very normal. The minute she stopped freaking out about growing a tail and ears, she figured out how to use her new tail to balance better, and took to enjoying the perks of her new body.
