Personality
Because of his race, you might think of him as rude, scary, and controlling. He is actually very kind and protects those that he loves. He doesn't always show his kindness, and is actually quite mysterious and more of the silent and strong type. His face never changes and stays in the same light expression of non-interest. The only time his expression might change is when he smiles (which doesn't happen very often) or when something surprises him. He doesn't really want to believe that someone will come along and melt the coldness in his heart because, the truth of the matter is, that he's scared. Scared of letting anyone in. Though he'd never let anyone in on that....

Because of him being a vampire, he can use this thing called compulsion. Compulsion is basically like mind-control. He can make a human want him to suck their blood, though he never really needs to so he doesn't use that very often. As for regular abilities, he can play the piano and he could be quite athletic, but sees no need to play any type of sport.

History
Ethan comes from a long line of royal vampires. Though the townspeople never knew exactly what they were, the only proof they had of them was that they were all extremely beautiful, more beautiful than any human could ever imagine. Especially Ethan's father and mother. They were like by all of the townspeople except for a few men that were jealous of Ethan's father, not only because of his father's good looks and charm, but also because he had Ethan's mother. Ethan's mother was liked by many men of the town and had no enemies, not even the women could hate her. They lived happy lives, for a while. A townsperson caught his mother drinking the blood of one of the men of the town and immediately told the others. Later that day his father and mother were staked. Ethan was born before this could happen, and was taken in by a king, that was a good friend to his mother and father. The man was never really kind to him, but still took good care of him throughout his childhood. When he was fourteen, as all vampires were, he was devastatingly handsome. The townspeople almost started to suspect something because of his beauty and resemblance to his mother and father but the idea was quickly shot out of their heads, since it was the only proof they had and they had no proof that he was his father and mothers son. Many of the boys his age never really talked to him, because of his silent nature, but the girls of the town did. He never really showed interest in any of them, but he wished he could. Though he knew that he was to get married some day and if he got close to anyone it would only hurt him in the long run. How was he to marry someone he didn't even really know?
